Fruits Basket was retarded. D: I liked it when it first came out, but wtf. It became stupid.
The manga for FMA was a LOT better than the anime imo. D: But I'm glad the second season is taking things from the manga this time rather than going off on its own. So much better.
The Cowboy Bebop manga was just dumb. xD

I totally agree with you about Fruits Basket. XD I liked it in the beginning since it had a really cute concept, but then it went to crap. At least the manga finished the story instead of ending in the middle at a really random point without even showing the whole zodiac.

I can see why people would like the manga better for FMA, but from purely a writing standpoint I felt like the anime did a better job keeping things succinct and flowed better. I didn't finish the manga, so there's definitely a possibility I'd like the ending in that one more, but from what I did read I liked the changes the anime made. I'm interested to see the remake though.

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot. XD My favorite manga is called "Basara". Not to be confused with the video game, lol. It was released in English by Viz several years back, but it was originally written in the early 90s, if I recall correctly. It's set in a post-apocalyptic version of Japan, so it ties in a lot of Japanese history and mythology. I guess you could classify it as romance, but there's a lot of action too. And the main character is one of the few female manga protagonists I actually like.

It was too pretty for me to pass up. Plus, I found the entire series used for 20$(4 volumes). And it wasn't in bad condition either. Like it was new. xD
(But now my guinea pig got hold of it and ate one of the back covers...)

The first season was what I saw first, so I'll always like it a lot. xD Then I went to the manga and now the second season. But it's essentially the same. I don't know how the manga ends either. D: Hm. The second season is at like.. episode 18 I think. Last I saw, anyway.

Oh yeah? Most people say they've never heard of it. I don't know if I could recommend it to everyone since the art usually puts people off and the story is pretty long and involved, but I enjoy it. XD I bought the whole series and it's one of the few manga I own that I actually take the time to reread.
