Charm smiled at the huge mass of coconuts she had hauled onto the ship and down into storage.
"What can I say," she grinned at Steph, having caught her staring with a weird look earlier, "I'm a sucker for all kinds of milk!" Charm scratched her head and looked at Vorian, who should be waking up soon due to the absence of sun. "Hey Vorian," she screamed into his ear, "It's time to fix the wheel! Wakey Wakey!" "Oh, and I was wondering," she turned and addressed everyone around her at a normal volume, "Did you guys want to go on a treasure hunt? During my travels I came upon a fierce pirate that I defeated in combat. For a reward he gave me information about an island called Death. Apparently there's supposed to be a huge amount of gold there, but he also told me that everyone who has even stepped onto the sand of that island has never returned and most likely died." |
Stephanie couldn't help but roll her eyes at Charm's explanation. Obviously, Charm was a cat after all.
Stephanie's ears perked when she heard the word treasure. "Eh? Treasure, you say?" Stephanie said, her eyes gleaming in a way that made her seem almost frightening; she may have only been a human navigator, but she was a sucker for anything valuable. "Where's this island, Death? Let's go right after we visit Florence," she added, her gleam dying a little. They'd need to stop somewhere that had some form of civilisation so that they could catch up on everything that had happened. Ah well, Stephanie thought to herself, Maybe there's someone there that knows about this island even more than Charm... |
(Haha if gylfie was still here i would say that she has already been there a number of times..but she isnt so...tough ^^)

"According to what I got out of the pirate I defeated, it should be around here," Charm grinned as she pointed to a point on the map she had taken out of her pocket, "It's an unmapped island though, so I only hope that the man was telling me the true coordinates. I guess we can do a little recon in Florence as well."

Stephanie studied the map Charm had taken out. "I'm pretty sure I;ve been to this area before, with the crew..." Stephanie held out a finger and started tracing the course they had taken. "Yeah," she confirmed, "I know this part of the ocean! Don't think there were any small islands around there, though."

Vorian blinked, slowly pulling out of his trance.
"Your voice is very grating, are you aware of that, kitten?" Vorian looked at the ship and then looked at charm He then gestured to the ground and a number of new trees sprung up. "I suppose I'll get to work then..." (P.S. "My teasure is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything I own in one peice...") |

Stephanie glanced at Vorian with an odd expression. "Kitten?" She rolled her eyes; if Charm was a kitten, then she was a leather-back turtle. She turned back to the map, racking her brains for any island she might have seen, or someone on duty in the Crow's Nest announcing there was a tiny island on the horizon.. |
"Kitten?" Charm questioned Vorian with a grin, "I'm fine with that little nick name here, but you better not call me that in public," her grin turned into a frown and her eyes started to glow a green color in warning, "It would destroy my reputation and in turn I would destroy your life."
"But, I trust you not to be that stupid," her eyes turned back to normal and a smile appeared on her face, "Now, shall we get to work?" With that she let her demon magic loose and made a replica of a modern steering wheel. Her tail swished back and forth briskly as she waited for Vorian to chop the wood for her to use. |
Yukina looked up seeing no sun she siged and took off her cloak."mm that feels better!"

Stephanie started tapping her foot, impatient to get off the island and go to Florence. |
Vorian yawned and sat down beside a pile of newly chopped wood.
"You're up kitten." |
Charm picked up the wood with her magic and added it to the outline she had made. Once it was done, she retracted her magic.
"Back to you bloodsucker." (( wow....i have insomnia tonight....work is going to be terrible....I hope I don't doze off lol )) |
At least she didn't say leech, though vorian. Vorian waved his hand and the living wood sealed seamlessly into it's shape. With another motion the wheel slammed itself onto the deck, a large tapered point sticking out of the bottom pierced right through the deck and quickly attached itself to the rudder system.
"And we are good to go ladies and gentlemen." |
"We can finally get off this godforsaken island," Charm grinned as she climbed up to the crows nest. Being a cat demon, she found that high places really made her calm and content.

Stephanie grinned widely, eyes dancing with excitement.
"We've got food," she muttered wildly to herself, "We've got weapons, we've got people... There's no longer any reason for us to stay here!" Stephanie spun around to face Yukina and Akemi. "C'mon! We're going to Florence, now!!" She cried excitedly. |
Vorian got up and stretched, juming the many feet to the rim of the boat with ease.
"Back onto the open sea... ye... landlubbers." Vorian turned to Stephanie. "In all seriousness, how in the world do you stand speaking like that!?" |
Stephanie glanced up at Vorian in confusion. "Speak like what?" She thought she was speaking quite normally.

Vorian scratched his head. His black hair rustling in the night breeze.
"I dunno, like 'avast ye scallywags' and 'arrrr I'll send ye to Davy Jones locker' and such nonsense." Vorian crossed his arms, his coat rustling with the movement. "If I'm expected to talk like that to be in a pirate crew I think we're going to have a bit of a problem." Vorian grinned at Stephanie, his pearly fangs poking slightly over his lower lip, showing her that he was half joking with her. |
Charm heard the commotion that Vorian was making, so she decided to play around with him.
"Arrr, ahoy me ol' scallywag," Charm had jumped down from the crow's nest using a loose rope and was now facing Vorian with a grin, "I be an old salt, savvy? Weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen, me hearties!" (( here is what she said for those who don't speak pirate lol : hello my old scallywag(mild insult for a friend), I am an old pirate, understand? so, pull up the anchor and the sail and let's get going my friends! )) |
