"Hmm," Charm thought out loud, "Could I come with you guys as well? It's been awhile since I worked with others!" The ears on her head suddenly perked up as she heard some yelling. She quickly ran out of the hut and climbed up a tree to see where it was coming from. Looking off to her left, she saw something horrible, but lucky. It seems the very same ship she was on before hadn't made it so far and had gotten stuck on the reef. It hadn't done massive damage yet, but it would be wrecked if she didn't get there in time to help it get off. Climbing down the tree, Charm yelled "Follow me if you want to get off this island!" She stayed in her human form, which was hard for here since she ran faster in her cat form, but she wanted everyone to be able to follow her. She stopped at the beach and looked on at the ship while waiting for the others to catch up. |
Get off the island?
"I'm so there!" Stephanie cried gleefully; she leapt after Charm and waited by the beach with her. |
Yukina smiled."heh mite all well",she said going to the beach

Charm grinned as she saw Yukina and Stephanie come up behind her.
"So, we need to figure out a plan of action to get that boat off the reef before it gets smashed to smitherines," Charm explained while wincing as the wind blew the boat into the reef a little more. She then looked back at Yukina and Stephanie with inquiring eyes. "Anyone here got some kind of power that would help with this?" |
Ykina yawned."i'll push it back out to sea ... i have done it before...."

"Great," Charm praised and then grinned at Yukina, "Let's get this show on the road, or should I say sea?"
Waving away her straying thoughts, Charm started running towards the boat. She could swim really well, but her distaste of water, not to mention the fact that others were with her, made her create a black bridge out of hardened demon magic, the same material of her twin swords. Running at full force she finally got to the ship and looked down at the terrified passengers. Hearing someone yell 'oh no, that's black cat. We're done for!' as another person just pointed at her with their mouth gaping, she couldn't help her fit of laughter. "Don't worry," she called out to everyone after her fit had subsided, "I'm here to help today, but only because if this lousy ship sinks, I'd have no way to get off this godforsaken island!" |
Yukina had to laughe."welcome to my last 500 years",she said looking at the ship then started pushing and the ship started moveing.

Charm snickered at Yukina's humor. For a vampire, this girl was quite the opposite of a blood-sucking fiend. In fact, Charm was starting to consider her as a good friend.
"Good thing I came around then," Charm replied with a grin as she watched the vampire girl move the ship with inhuman strength, "You might've been stuck here for another 500 years!" |

Stephanie watched the two of them sourly; she, of course, had no powers. Only that of a human navigator. It was so annoying, unable to help like this. She would have followed Charm, but the black bridge that had been created seemed to look unstable, and Stephanie had a feeling it wouldn't be able to support her human weight.
She couldn't swim like Yukina, either, or she'd lose strength. The best she could do was shout encouragements to the two. She wished with all her heart that she wasn't some useless human, the daughter of some bastard who went around killing her own people. Suppressing the rage at the thought of the man, Stephanie turned her attention back to Charm and Yukina. She'd worry about that when she was old and grey; now was the time to be at attention. |
Charm was having a laughing fit after Yukina accepted the possibility of herself being stuck here longer if she wasn't around.
After her fit had subsided, Charm yelled encouragements to Yukina as she moved the heavy ship. Then she noticed that something wasn't right, where was Stephanie? Looking around herself in horror at losing the girl, she heard someone yelling encouragements from the beach. Looking back she saw that Stephanie was there. Figuring that she must not trust her bridge, since she was right to assume that it couldn't hold much human weight and maybe the girl couldn't swim. She knocked her index finger again her temple, trying to think how to get her over to the ship the easiest way possible. Her eyes lit up as she saw the little paddle boat that was strapped to the side of the ship. "Hey Yukina," she got the attention of her new friend, "You're doing a great job. I'm going to take this tiny boat here and go get Stephanie, ok?" Charm didn't wait for an answer, she just jumped onto the little boat and unhooked it from it's ropes so it would fall into the water. Picking up the paddle, she started using her super cat reflexes to move really fast. "Hey there," she exclaimed to Stephanie as she finally made it to the shore, "Let's go, shall we?" |
Yukina mearly laughed and kept oing,once the ship was bac insafer waters she sighed sitting on a rock in the middel of the water,she slumped over slightly trying to get her strenth back. Damn it all .... she NEEDED blood.But the way she felt now she couldnt go hunting in the forest.Heck she wouldnt even have the energy tp start hunting.Groaning to herself she pased out.

Stephanie blinked in surprise.
"S-sure!" She said happily, and jumped aboard. "Let's go!" Then she noticed Yukina. "Wha-?!" |
"Oh, that's not good," Charm worriedly looked towards where she had last seen Yukina. She had worried about whether or not Yukina would need blood after using up that amount of strength.
"Let's go see what we can do," Charm said as she paddled towards the ship even faster than she had paddled to the shore. Once they arrived at the ship, Charm jumped onto a rope and climbed up to the deck, motioning Stephanie to follow her example. She ran to Yukina's passed out body and checked all the major pulse points to see what was wrong. "Hmm, seems like she's just in need of some blood," Charm muttered with a sigh that it wasn't anything drastic. Now where could she get some of that? Her eyes made their way over to the passengers of the boat, but once she saw their frightened faces she knew that she couldn't make them do it. "Damn it," she mumbled while she made one of her demon magic twin swords appear in her right hand. After cutting her wrist open, she held it to Yukina's mouth and let the blood flow in. Stephanie clambered awkwardly onto the rock behind Charm. She swallowed her objections when Charm cut her wrist to feed Yukina; she didn't really have a say in the matter.
She was watching them when she heard a sharp crack. Startled, she looked over at the boat. Yukina hadn't managed to get the rudder off the reef; it had snapped off. The terrified passengers screamed as the shock from the snapped rudder made the ship rock violently. They had to get off the reef, but with Yukina down, they wouldn't be able to. Stephanie glanced wistfully at the shore; where was Vorian?? |

Stephanie jumped as she heard Yukina speak. Surely she was still too weak? Blood was good for her, right? |
(I've been having problems with my internet, I couldn't load menewsha, and when I finally got back sooo much had happened. I read through and I was like "Oh to hell with this." *goes to play videogames*)

Charm's wrist shot back to her side in shock and the wound started to close. "Sorry, but I didn't know how else to help you," she maintained her ground, but was ready to jump away if she initiated some vampire feeding frenzy or something. She wasn't sure why Yukina was so angry, but she hoped that she didn't make her too mad since she still wanted to be friends with her. |
