I've been working with purple shades as the base and then going over it with a blue in the highlights and finishing with a pink shade all over. I'm trying to get a purple-blueish color with a dark green trim. Yeah I'm trying to get the bulk of the dress done right now, but I'm sure I'm going to be fussing with the shading for ages. o.o |
I'm actually inclined to disagree with Crys, I adore all the linework in the skirt. It gives much more a sense of the way it moves and its volume. It's the torso where I think you need a little definition going on ^^

I can't do it for the life of me. Iseh: I suppose your right, I guess I just feel this way is too cluttered? Or maybe it's just too close to the ref. Either way, I think it can be easily fixed once it's shaded. |
Cryssu: Eh, it's to each their own preference? I'm drawn to strong lineart that really lets you know what's going on. The only reason most of mine isn't like that anymore is because I play with patterns a lot more now.

xD I have never watched Wayne's World 2. From what I did see, it just doesn't measure up to the first one.
xD Yes, they'd be duking it out with the lawn gnomes and Jace would be swearing it was one of his rings' abilities. The ones here are small, nothing more than a CI of some variety I think it'll be. The auction I'm not sure what I'll do... maybe up to a half-body or something in a variety of style choices should you win. |
