Hello, Menewshans? Obviously, I'm fairly new, but this site resembles Gaia amazingly, and though I haven't managed my way entirely through Gaia forums, (you needn't hold that against me later, for whatever reason ;D) Menewsha looks simple enough for a person like myself to navigate.(: I see that posting longer posts results in more gold? I think I've got to roleplay, then. I roleplay in utter chapters, with no doubt. How is Menewsha doing today? :3 Then Menewsha isn't doing very well, then? D: |

No, Mene is just a small site currently, which is sort of a factor to the "simple-ness" of it all I guess. Everybody knows just about everybody.
A certain time usually means like... what, 12-24 hours on here I think. xD; A reasonably long period of time since the forums are slow because the number of people on at a certain time. Whenever I check, i think there are 100- 200 people on. |
I guess I'm used to active forums. Like Meez, with over 1,000 people always on. Unless there's one of the 'attacks'. Then it usually goes down to about 200, 150 at least. A very active RP forum, to say the least.(:

It's not that complicated. People start threads, they reply in them. You can get up to Twenty(20) :gold: per post. That's for long ones.

I meant, like in Gaia, there's certain posts for certain things in an RP, like the plot, setting, etc. And in Meez, its just the plot/setting/etc. all in the first post. So I don't know what its like here. I was thinking~is there very many, strictly literate, avid RPers here? |
It depends on who you ask. I would say it's half and half... If you want literate RPers, you kind of need to look. If you want people who 1 sentances, go to the fan based. *Shudders* Don't really like those people. They're all like OMG Edward Cullen.

I'm not a fan of Twilight at all. In fact, it irritates me to an unnerving point. The book was okay, but the movie ruined everything and turned everyone into a fan-girl.
My avatar is still naked, I need more gold. XD Well, I wanted to get together a kind of group, for RP. A group of literate RPers that we could count on, you know, to carry ongoing RPs and of course, be strictly literate in every RP. That way, with people I know I can rely on, I can go to the RP forum and know that there will always be an RP [or multiple RPs] that I can go and roleplay in, with other people that are the same way, in being literate and whatnot. Because I absolutely despise the whole: *walks in nd looks around* do u know where we r? *looks cnfused* Are you a literate RPer yourself? :3 |

There are a few RP groups, though one of the ones I am in are invite entry only to preserve the "quality" and make sure that only good RP'ers can be in there.

I'm not that into realistic RPs, because as I've said before in another thread I believe, reality gets boring after you've lived in it for a while. XD I play both male and female, I really don't mind. My male characters that I've played are usually charming vampires, or secretive half-beasts. I like to try new things. :3 That's what I'd like to create, only maybe have people provide samples of how they roleplay and create profiles for characters, and be weighed on that. Its usually how I approve people for threads that I take time to thoroughly create in Meez. :3 |

2) Try an OOC thread? And if you create your own RP, you are allowed to "filter" RP'ers. You know, ask for samples in the roleplaying form. |
