I'm thinking of opening a pixel shop
 

I was wondering if I have potential to make a successful shop from your opinions on this avatar sample I made:


This was completely hand drawn by mouse in paint, while looking at my menewshan avatar and creating details from it. I think its one of the best pixel arts I've ever made, but what do you think?

Of course in my art shop, I'd make all skin tones, and if you supply me a clear picture, I can make you a customized skin tone that others can use as well if they wish.

If I get enough positive feedback, I will definitely consider opening a shop and making you all pixel avatars. =3

I think that would be a great idea. Those avatars you made are very creative and the look great. If you do make one, tell me and I shall visit.

I actually started up my shop in the pixel art selling section, but I'm still working on all the skintones, I have 4-5 more left since yesterday. Once they're done, I'll really get to work on the rest of the topic and then open up shop.

I'd work on hair shading a bit, it's kind of clunky.
and stay away from pillow shading like in the mid-section.

it's pretty good, but could use some work.

Yeah, I have trouble with hair... but I can improve shading on clothes and other things.

hair is tricky.
Just try to capture strands in it, because.. that's what hair is.
You've got a great technique though, I can't wait to see your other stuff!

Alright, I'll try that next time when someone places on order, if I can finish the shop. :P I'm making the corpse and then the zombie skin tones for both male and female right now.
