Chickie Nuggs 08-09-2010 03:10 PM

Cherry Who? 08-09-2010 07:34 PM

Anna - Well... yeah, I was just acting like I didn't know how many $1 things you could buy with $200. >>
STOP BRINGING STUPID TAX INTO THIS, IT ALWAYS MESSES ME UP. :illgetu:

Captain Howdy 08-09-2010 11:49 PM

*steals all your debits cards to buy a top of the line Atari 2600*

Chickie Nuggs 08-10-2010 12:03 AM

*remembers the pong computer game she got from the dollar store*
I never did play that...

Cardinal Biggles 08-10-2010 01:08 AM

NOO. I probably could have gotten a cargo class ticket to London with that $200...

Captain Howdy 08-11-2010 06:56 AM

Like in the Great Muppet Caper. :3

Cherry Who? 08-11-2010 07:31 PM

Wait, capers? I've never tried those, but they don't look tasty. :( Can't we just have some blueberries or something?

Nephila 08-11-2010 08:09 PM

I want to try them now just to see what they do taste like.

Snowberry 08-11-2010 10:14 PM

I wanna try capers too. o<

Nephila 08-11-2010 10:17 PM

I used to think they were fish. But I' pretty sure they're berries.

Captain Howdy 08-11-2010 10:39 PM

Capers are sour and nasty and decidedly unfun, in mah opinion.

Snowberry 08-11-2010 10:41 PM

Nope. They're like tiny green buds. We had a jar, forgot about em, and had to toss em.

Howdy~ Orly? What did you eat them with? I heard they were good on fish, chicken..

Captain Howdy 08-11-2010 10:46 PM

Um... I ate some straight out of the jar... a whole bunch of years ago.

... XD

Nephila 08-11-2010 10:47 PM

Was it on a dare or were you just curious?

Captain Howdy 08-11-2010 10:51 PM

T'was borne from curiosity.

I opened the fridge. There they were. They said, "Consume us." I replied, "Okay." Complying I cried, "You're terrible." They returned, "Oh yes, we know. ... Now pretend you're a naughty cheerleader." I closed the fridge.

Nephila 08-11-2010 10:55 PM

Wow...they sound like they're a bit sexually frustrated being in the fridge for so long. *starts to picture food orgies between different foods while the door is closed*

GASP! *goes to open the door*
I'M ON TO YOU. YOU DIRTY SLUTS!!! *everyone in the kitchen stares in awe while I walk away proudly*

Snowberry 08-11-2010 10:58 PM

funny stuff. I still wanna try them in a dish.

Cherry Who? 08-12-2010 03:05 AM

One time I was helping my grandma prepare dinner by chopping up garlic. So I thought "Garlic is so tasty when it's cooked, I wonder if it's tasty raw?" and I also thought "No, no it won't be, it will be unpleasant." So I told my grandma and she told me I shouldn't. But I did it anyway and it burned.

Chickie Nuggs 08-12-2010 04:55 AM

Good goin, Cherry.

Cherry Who? 08-12-2010 05:22 AM

Doing something stupid once is human. Doing something stupid twice is stupid.

...
I've had raw garlic since then.

Chickie Nuggs 08-12-2010 05:28 AM

When I was around 6~7, I'd eat bits and chunks of the raw biscuit dough before my nana would put em in the oven. For some reason I thought it tasted good. Many years later, I forgot when, I tried a little tid bit for old times sake. I didn't like it. "Pitooey" I said. :<

Eeee! I loved that movie as a kid. I'd stay in Hotel Happiness if such an establishment existed.

@ Neph: Mayhap you are thinking of Kippers?
