Layering Skirts and Pants
I did look to see if there was another thread like this before posting this thread and didn't see any, so I'm starting this thread up.
I'm curious as to if there is a reason skirts layer behind pants instead of in front of them? In real life, you would not wear a skirt beneath a pair of pants, but you might wear a skirt over a pair of pants. I would really like to see this changed, as it really makes more sense to have skirts and dresses layer over pants rather than beneath them. ;) |
Which skirt doesn't layer over pants? Do you mean the overalls you're wearing? I don't believe those are technically considered pants and I suspect they have to go over skirts because they also must layer over shirts, which are over the skirt layer.

*waits for response*
Skirts and dresses do indeed layer over pants, so I'm wondering what brough this question about. As Ferra says, it is only those overalls which could be said to be on the "wrong" layer, as we had to put those on the dress layer so they went over shirts. |
Ahh ok, I understand. Sorry for the delayed response...I had sort of forgotten about this thread, hehe. I appreciate the explanation. I guess I really should have tried some other pants and skirts first. It simply did not occur to me that it was for a reason, and that it was only the overalls and other items of this type that it affects. I imagine this means jumpers are in the same category as the overalls.

Um, yes. *confused* Jumpers to me are sweaters xD If you mean the demin pinafores then yes xD
|
jelly, jumpers are like overalls but they're skirts and not pants :)
|
What the hell is a pinafore? :poke: LOL they're denim jumpers.
