k so a character that controls sound is still powerless within the feilsd or no?

Anyone with super powers in the field would become 'powerless'. Any long ranged attacks involving the power being used to attack Julianna would also cancel out once the attack enters the field, because it still comes from a Super Power based source (There are obvious exceptions to this rule if you can find them).

LoL xD if Boomer shouted at Julianna he'd just.. Be shouting like a normal human.. xD, she'd activate the field involuntarily out of fear and he'd just be.. A shouting man..? I suppose? Which is still kinda frightening for the poor girl... xD

Mhh sorry but no, if Coach Boomer is inside the field at the time you wouldnt be able to affect him directly. He's INSIDE the Negative field afterall. At best you'd manage to lower the volume of sound escaping the negative field, but you'd leave Julianna to suffer the wrath of Boomer on her own xD

The field can be used to sheild others from superpowers xD unfortunately Julianna doesnt have a choice of who gets sheilded or not since the field is impassive and affects everything super power based. There are still plenty of ways to beat her without super powers though xD

Im sorry I havent posted yet everyone, I've been waiting on Fading ^^ since my character is mostly dealing with Fading's one. I have so much I want to respond to, in the end my post is gonna be pretty big... xD maybe... depends.. xD

Character power:
Super Strength - (Cybernetic) His strength is magnified 5 times that of a pro wrestler. He swings the sword he carries around like a toothpick.

Blinding Speed - (Cybernetic) He moves 2-3 times faster then normal people when under normal weight. This is obviously changed when lifting something heavy, and is reduced to a fraction of it, as normal people would.

Heightened Senses - (Cybernetic) His hearing, sense of smell, and sight are far more sensitive than other people. He can hear whispers from 50 yards away clearly. He can follow scents like a dog, and his sight is sharper than others so he can see clearly further away.

Computer Stylized Memory Access and Photographic Memory - (Cybernetic) He has a higher memory storage which he can access at any time using a browser he can pull up inside his own mind. He can view any memories at any time, view either the dialogue from his own mind, what was said, or watching a video of it. He also can take pictures with his eyes and view them using his memory browser. This also allows him to zoom them. Essentially letting him see distant objects.

Swordsmanship - (I suppose its not that much of a power, but still) He is proficient with Great swords and he carries one at all times.

There are cybernetic parts hidden under his clothes and armor: Back of the legs, Shoulders, Back of the Torso, hidden behind his Hair, and the rest are inside himself.

History: Mace's father was a scientist. However, he wasn't just any normal scientist. He was a genius. But he wasn't any normal genius. He was an evil genius, Dr. Fearsome. Yes, Mace's father was a Villain. He fought heroes with his machines and mutant experiments time after time... until he had a son. He experimented on his own boy. He enhanced his natural functions using cybernetic implants which he would change out when he outgrew certain parts.

Fortunately, maintenance on Mace kept his father from fighting heroes. He had no time for that anymore, his son was his life. However, the reason for giving his son these enhancements was not explained to Mace until he became a teenager.

On his 13th birthday, Dr. Fearsome wanted Mace to become a villain, but Mace didn't want to, he wanted to be a hero. His father was... less than excited to put it nicely. He was furious, he was angered at Mace for 2 years, until the time he could enter Sky High... Dr. Fearsome finally gave in, and let his son attend the super school.

So, Mace is now a Freshman AND the son of a Villain... and you thought you had it rough in high school.

Personality: Mace is serious when the situation calls for it, but he is happy-go-lucky a majority of the time, and maybe a little bit mischievous, but he has a good heart and a sense of justice his father was born without.

RP example: Mace stared at the teacher, but he wasn't focused on class at all. He pretended to take notes, but he was really just writing about the girl he had met earlier at lunch. She was amazing. Beautiful, Smart, Funny... It was impossible for him to resist. He was smitten. The only problem, he didn't know her name. He pulled up his memory browser to view a picture he had saved of her. Lets see... Black hair... Red eyes... Her image is still perfect in my mind...

The teacher spoke his name, and he snapped out of his daze. He wanted Mace to solve the problem he had just posed. Embarrassed, he mumbled the first thing that came to mind. The answer was wrong, and the kids around him laughed. He slammed his head on the desk. Ugh... Man...

I wasn't aware of there being a 'Villain' School or a 'Hero' School xD every super kid gets sent to Sky High and 'their choice is theirs' at the end. Or atleast thats the impression I had. xD It could actually be Mace's guilty secret, lol, daddy expects a bad boy, daddy's gonna get a "Traitor!" xD

I dunno, I haven't watched the movie in a while. I'll change the history if need be.

S'up to opalistic technically, but as I remembered it, even villains can come out of Sky High, considering what happens in the film xD its all a matter of choices and consequences. You're lucky Mace is a good guy, xD

Yeah, I thought about that... it seems kinda unfair xD And would he really share how his powers work? Wouldn't it be more of a thing that the staff would know but the other students wouldn't? I dunno.

LoL he can hide it all he wants, Julianna can practically sense technology, xP She doesnt need to see it to know its there, otherwise she wouldnt have been able to retune the bus. Indeed she knew the bus was technological but she had no visual evidence of where things were. Its part of her power xD

Edit: On the other hand, Dr. Hershey would take particular interest in Mace because his skills would be quite good for demonstrations in class xD abuse the new meat! abuse it I say! Though I'm gonna have Hershey technically 'single out' Julianna.

Edit 2: Also, at the same time, Julianna could make improvements on his cybernetics to increase their efficiency and usefulness for Mace. That'd be interesting >3
