So the plan is to share poetry here that I write impromptu-ly-ish. I might write it during the day, but most likely I'll write it more towards night when I need something to do. Read, enjoy, don't enjoy, whatever, just share your thoughts! =D

Is this Regret I'm Feeling?

I could have given you morning sunlight
Golden gems to be strewn throughout your hair
Falling in dark waves to your
Waist that I once encircled with my hands

I could have gifted you with evening
Woven you a dress of the silk fibers of dusk
Slid silver rings onto your slender fingers
Anointed with the radiance from the first star

I could have salved your fears of the
Stranger that I am and the
Stranger that you never were with
Words so smooth and mysterious eyes

I lost my kingdom to you when my
Heart lost its shell and began to
Bleed out the key in a song

I, the Breeze, Loved a Lily

When the sun released its flare
And the moon hid its face from the blinding light
I spun golden baubles into your hair
And whispered dreams of a lily-white night

You lay in my arms silently
Eyes closed so your ears gave me all their attention
A single dew-drop on each pale eyelid
I resisted the longing to kiss them away
For it would mean the breaking of the day

I turned you around silently
Swaying in place
A soundless waltz that lasted forever
And one second
You left my embrace and stood watching me
With those dew-drops tracing trails down your pale cheeks

Another poem. Song lyrics, actually. They were inspired by the movie Labyrinth, especially the ballroom scene.

Secret Universe

I'll fly you up between the stars
I don't know if you're broken
Or just cold
Here's to hoping the moonlight
Will heal your scars
Here's hoping the mysteries
Of our heartbeats will unfold

Your heartstrings all form
Such a tangled web
I know my own heart's chambers
Are but a maze
Let me spin from you a silver thread
To guide you through these
Never-ending days

All the bodies of heaven are now aligned
Take my hand and I'll walk with you
Across the dreamland of our eyes locked
Together we will dance
Just you and I
To the music of the universe
Our own secret universe

I'll soar with you beyond the sun
I don't know if you remember what
You've been told
Just look for me and no-one else
I'm the true silver key
That will fit in your heart's mold

Your dazzled eyes both seem
To see within a dream
I know my own are trapped
When your lashes close over those
Crystalline caverns in which I’ll wander
Forever seeking the one precious stone
That will make you mine
Mine alone

Hooray!!! Thank you so much. I like the name, too. =D It reminds me of a goblin hunched over with spectacles, writing in an old parchment tome with a feathered quill!

Hmm, never seen Labyrinth. Though my friends tell me its a good movie. But, goblins are just awesome creatures all around. :]
