"Hopefully." Ben said before leaning in to steal a quick kiss from Jenny's lips and leading her inside where they're friends were sitting.
"Bout time." Jack teased as Gina smiled and inched just the least bit closer to his side. "Mmm I'm ready for some burger and fries." Gina smiled happily as the two approached their booth. "My lady." Ben smiled happily as he gestured for Jenny to sit first, across from Gina and Jack which left Matt and Leane sandwiched between the two couples. |
Sitting next to Leane, Jenny smiled as she gently patted her thigh, "How're you holding up?"
"I'm fine, don't worry so much," Leane laughed as she hugged Jenny tight. "Well I do, and I shall," Jenny laughed as she poked her side. When the waitress came over to take their orders, Jenny ordered a cheeseburger with everything and an order of curly fries. Leane, however, ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and onions on it with a side of french fries. |
All four of Jack, Gina, Matt, and Ben ordered their usual burger and fries along with a round of waters. "So." Gina smiled happily at the group. "I always thought that double dates were awkward and girlie but I'm liking this triple thing we have going on." She confessed with a very girlish laugh before taking a drink of her water.
"Maybe you are a girl in there afterall." Ben teased as he snaked an arm around Jenny's shoulders. "Good thing cause I was starting to worry about Jack's sexuality and all." He laughed, causing Jack to toss his spoon across the table. |
Jenny laughed, "Well, the way she fights you'd expect her to be rough-housing, not going to tea parties. Seems we may have a debutante in there somewhere after all, wouldn't you agree Lee?"
"Perhaps, if we shined her up enough," Leane teased with a laugh. |
Gina laughed as she gently squeezed Jack's hand under the table. "I don't know about shining me up too much." Gina teased. "I still need to be able to fight so I can keep these three out of trouble."
"Right because we're totally helpless without you backing us up." Matthew rolled his eyes dramatically though he always appreciated having Gina on his side. "You are because you boys are wimpy and I grew up with three older brothers. I know how to keep those football players from beating you up too bad." Gina smiled at her friends. |
"Mmm, yes, they do cause quite the amount of trouble," Leane said with a sigh.
"Just goes to show, all brawn and no brains," Jenny said with a laugh, trying to keep Leane's mind off of Kurt. |
"Excuse you." Ben teased is girlfriend as helightly poked her sides. "I cannot speak for these fools but I happen to be a genius." He argued with a wide grin.
"Oh, yes the oh so brilliant Ben who almost got kcked out of Bio last year." Matt grinned devishly. "That had nothing to do with my genius-ness. I simply felt it was wrong to dissect things." Ben countered. "But I believe the word 'genius-ness' just showed your lack of." Jack teased with a smile, earning laughs from Gina, Ben, and Matt. |
"Perhaps, but I think it's adorable," Jenny said with a wink at Ben before capturing his lips in a long, tender kiss.
Leane laughed as she added, "Oh don't be so hard on him. After all, he's quite the genius to some degree." |
Ben smiled into Jenny's lips before placing another kiss on her forehead and snaking a hand around her waist to pull her closer.
"What do you know about Ben's 'genius-ness'?" Matthew teased his girlfriend as the waitress returned and put he plates down in front of the group. "Here I thought you were in love with me but maybe I've been mistaken." Matthew teased with a fake pout as Ben laughed, keeping his arms around Jenny. "Sorry, Lee." Ben winked over at his friend's girlfriend. "I'm far too in love with Jenny." He teased before taking a fry and popping it into his mouth. |
Leane laughed, "Oh honestly. Taking everything I saw in the complete opposite direction of their intent! I merely meant that he was a genius because he realized much before I did that I was in love with Matt; and I suspect he knew the same in your case in regards to me," Leane added with a teasing wink.

"I think everyone knew there was something between you two no matter how much eithr of you tried to deny it." Jack piped up before taking a bite out of his burger.
"Yeah, the only people either of you were fooling were yourselves." Ben laughed as he to bit into his burger. |
Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she popped a fry into her mouth. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were all just big know-it-all's," Leane teased with a laugh.
"Oh do stop teasing them so! As least they admitted it to each other," Jenny added with a wink at Leane as she took a bite of her burger. |
"After we all but forced them to." Ben teased as he continued to eat his lunch, leaving one hand still snaked around Jenny's waist.
"But it was worth it in the end so quit whining." Matthew teased as he started to dig into his burger as well. |
Leane laughed, "That it was!" Eating her burger and sipping her sprite, the smile never left Leane's lips, silently reminiscing over the time since she had ran that contest for her Masquerade Ball in October.
Jenny smiled as she whispered in Ben's ear, "I think we cheered up Lee." |
"Mission accomplished." Ben grinned into Jenny's ear before giving her cheek a quick kiss.
"Secrets don't make friends." Jack teased from across the table before Gina smacked him hard in the side. "Play nice, it isn't your business if they want to argue over which of them is cuter." Gina winked playfully at the couple. "Besides we already know its Jenny." "Alas, I've failed again." Ben sighed as he grasped his heart, sinking his head to focus on the table in front of them. |
Jenny laughed as she ran her fingers through Ben's hair, "You're always cutest to me, Ben."

"And that my 'friends'." Ben said with a mock glare at Gina. "Is all that matters." He smiled before looking over at Jenny with a wide grin on his face.
"Are you alright?" Matthew asked in a whisper as he leaned over to Leane. "You're being awful quiet." He added with a twinge of concern, giving her cheek a quick kiss. |
Jenny grinned as she placed a light kiss upon his lips before turning back to her burger.
Leane nodded with a small laugh as she finished her fries. "I was just thinking about the night of the Ball," Leane whispered with smile as she rested her head upon Matt's shoulder. |
Matthew couldn't help but smiled as he pulled Leane closer to him. "Who would've thought I could have ever tricked you into falling in love with me?" He teased into Leane's hair, his fingers brushing against her upper thigh.
"Oh sure I can't talk to my girlfriend but these two can whisper sweet nothings to each other. I like the equality here." Ben teased as he looked over to Matthew and Leane, getting a fry in the nose from Matt. "That's real polite. Didn't I teach you better manners then that?" Ben asked. |
Leane blushed as she linked her fingers with Matt's beneath the table, smiling her agreement as she looked up at him.
Jenny laughed as she gently shoved Leane's leg. "Really, Lee. And you all said we were keeping secrets! At least I didn't blush over mine," she teased with a wink, causing Leane's blush to only deepen. |
"Leane's only blushing because she's busy thinking of how awesome I am." Matthew teased, his fingers stayed locked with Leane's beneath the table as he tried to refocus the attention off of her.
"Oh please, like you're so great." Gina teased, sensing Leane's shyness and focusing on Matt instead. "Excuse you, I happen to be an amazing person." Matt countered before eat a few more fries. |
"Yes, amazing at being obnoxious and at being a friend stealer," Jenny teased with a wink, "I barely get to see Leane anymore now that you've started monopolizing all her time."

"Its not my fault she finds me irresistable. But then again who doesn't?" Matt teased as he smiled over at Jenny.
"Everyone." Gina coughed into her hand with a teasing smile as Jack high fived her beneath the table, though he didn't give her her hand back as he intertwined their fingers. |
"Hear hear!" said Jenny with a laugh, "We all think Leane's crazy. But hey, who isn't when they follow their heart and fall in love?" Jenny added with a smile at Ben.

"Well said." Jack murmured under his breath, causing Gina to blush a deep scarlet.
"Agreed." Ben said with a smile before leaning forward and giving her cheek a small kiss. "However we best be getting back to school before lunch period is over." He said as he turned to the group and signaled for the waitress to bring over the check. |
