"I'm guessing you don't have any horror movies." Matthew laughed. "What's another one of your favourites?" He asked when they reached the living room and put his arms around the Leane's waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.
Leane laughed, "Me? With horror? Don't think so. You'd never be able to pry my fingers off you if you made me watch one of those. We could always watch Ferris Beuller's Day Off," she suggested, "or Sixteen Candles."
Let's go with Ferris Beuller's Day Off." Matthew said. "I've never seen either but that's probably less of a chick flick." He added with a wink as he picked up his bowl of Chinese food.
"You're right. I think you'll like this one," Leane laughed as she sat Indian style on the floor and took out The Breakfast Club. Starting a new pile with that movie, Leane moved to her pile of 'Unwatched' movies and dug out Ferris Beuller's Day Off. Popping it in, Leane stood up and walked over to the couch and climbed over the edge. Leaning her back against the edge, her feet down by Matt, Leane picked up her bowl and hit Play on the remote.
Matthew watched the characters rolling across the screen, happily eating his seasame chicken. "You're right. This is a good one." Matthew admitted as he set down his empty bowl and settled deeper into the couch. "Maybe you don't have such a bad taste in movies after all." He teased lightly.
Finishing her rice as Ferris began speaking to his friends from the float, dedicating his next performance to them, Leane set the bowl on the table and scooched over and laid beside Matt, resting her hand on his thigh as she rested her head upon her hand. "Told you. You just can't ever believe me can you," she teased with a grin. Laughing as she watched the movie, the Hungarian women on the float now lifting their skirts and brushing them in Ferris' face as the crowd danced around them, Leane reached for Matt's hand and linked her fingers through his, resting their hands against her side as they watched the movie.
Matthew smiled as Leane linked hands with him, using his free hand to absentmindedly play with strands of her hair. "Well I think that I can forgive you for those Bring It On movies." Matthew teased. "But I don't know if I could ever forgive you for not being able to brave horror movies." He laughed quietly. "I might make you watch at least one sometime. I'll make it a less gory one but you're going to watch at least one someday." He added.
Leane groaned, "But you'll make fun of me! I mean, I even got petrified with House On Haunted Hill and that movie wasn't even scary! It was just disturbingly gross. But somehow, I managed to get completely freaked out. Josh had fingernail bruises to show for it on his arm after he made me watch it with him," she admitted with a soft laugh, "I think I know what kind of pain he was in now that I'm all banged up. So if you really must make me watch one, can it be something dumb like Night of the Living Dead? The black and white version? Jenny saw it and loved it, but Joanna said it was horrible and so fake it was ridiculous."
"That'll work." Matthew decided, laughing. The fingers that had been twirled into her hair moved to circle the purple bruises that shown on her arms Matthew frowned as he saw just how many bruises Kurt had left. "I shouldn't have let him dance with you." He said, his voice heavy.
Shifting so that she was looking up at him, Leane sighed as she linked her free hand through his hand. "Matt.. I chose to dance with him. I'm fine, really, it's not as bad as it looks," she lied with a smile as she turned back to face the movie, "Don't worry so much, it was worth you not getting your face pounded by him."
"That's what you think." Matthew sighed, still tracing the purple bruises on her arm. "It won't be so bad with Jack and Ben backing me up. Its bound to happen anyways." He said thoughtfully.
Leane sighed as she looked back up at him, reaching her hand up to gently caress his cheek, "Matt.. Don't.. I'm fine, I promise."
Taking both of his hands in hers, Leane look down at her arms. They really were pretty bad... She should have wore a long sleeve shirt instead of the baggy one she threw on... "Matt, I don't want you going after Kurt just because I've got bruises on my arms.. You three don't need to get in trouble, nor go even higher on their hitlist. Can't you just forget what he did last night? I'm not that hurt, not to mention you guys didn't get hurt.. Wasn't Ben socking him in the jaw enough payback?" |
"I'm not going to start anything. Kurt and the football team are going to start things when we go back to school." Matthew said. "And no, getting punched in the jaw isn't enough payback for him trying to force his tongue down your throat." He said bitterly.
Leane sighed as she sat up. Shifting so that she was sitting on his lap, her knees on each side of his hips, Leane softly caressed his cheek with her fingertips, "Matt, they won't do anything as long as Joanna, Jenny, or I am around. If any of us are between you and their fist, they'll walk away. We're cheerleaders after all, we're their good luck charms. And in case you haven't heard, it's not good to piss of your good luck charms, they'll make you lose," she teased as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips, "As for that kiss, I want nothing more than to forget about it. It was beyond awful and I could taste his disgusting alcohol mix on his tongue."
Shuddering as she remembered how his kiss felt, Leane pushed the thought from her mind as she tried to not remember the disgusting feel again. If she did, she may just vomit. Still caressing his cheek, Leane sighed, "Don't worry about what happens to me. I'd rather him have forced a kiss on me than socked you in the jaw or given you a broken nose. I don't want you getting hurt.. I love you too much to see you get hurt over me.." Not realizing she had said 'Love' instead of 'Like', Leane simply kissed Matt as the movie played - Ferris and his friends getting their car back from the Garage. |
Matthew's eyebrows rose slightly as she told him that she loved him. She didn't seem to realize it so instead of forcing an awkward conversation on her, Matthew kissed her back eagerly. His tongue running against the shape of her lips before pulling her against him to kiss her fully.
While one hand slid through his hair and pulled her lips harder against his, the other slid around his waist and pulled herself closer to him, their torsos fitting perfectly against each other as her finger softly dug into his back as she eagerly accepted and returned his kisses.
If there was one thing Leane could never get enough of, it was the feel of Matt's lips against her own - she loved every second of it. |
Matthew wound his fingers through Leane's hair as the other traveled her curves, running his hand down her hips and onto her thigh as he pressed her tighter to him. "Leane." Matthew whispered before kissing her deeper, his tongue exploring her mouth.
As she broke away, she gave him one last tender kiss on his lips before moving to his jaw with her kisses, making a trail to his hear where she whispered, "Matt.. should I stop?" before trailing her kisses down his neck, where she lingered, her tongue lightly slipping from her lips onto his skin as she kissed him.
'I can definitely see what Auntie was feeling when she did what she did...' she admitted to herself as her hand absently slid under the hem of his t-shirt to caress his skin. 'But I really shouldn't...' |
"No." Matthew said quietly. "Its alright, I'll behave." He laughed once, bringing her lips back his to own to kiss her fully. Matthew skimmed his hand to run along the side of Leane's hip, his thumb slipping underneath her shirt, to afraid to actually go under her shirt. He knew he could behave himself but the last thing he wanted to do was upset Leane.
Feeling his thumb grazing against her side, Leane broke from the kiss and looked into Matt's eyes. Knowing he wouldn't push her, Leane smiled and placed a tender kiss upon his lips as she murmured softly, "It's alright, go ahead, I don't mind."
Matthew smiled as he pulled tighter into a kiss. His hand ventured up her shirt, exploring the smooth skin underneath. He broke away from Leane's lips to place kisses across her jaw and down her neck.
Sighing, Matthew's lips paused at the base of her neck. "Leane." He whispered softly. "We can't." He said, slipping his hand out from under her shirt. |
Sighing, Leane rested her forehead against his as she whispered softly, "Either you don't think you can control yourself like you said, or you don't think I'll stick to what I said earlier and then I'll end up blaming you and hating you after it's over.. right?"
"The first one." Matthew smirked, looking into her eyes. "I know you don't want to be with me like that." He said. "I wouldn't want to do anything to make you uncomfortable." He sighed as he extended to give her small kiss before pulling away again.
Leane shook her head as she gently caressed his cheek with her fingertips, "Believe me, it's definitely not that I don't want to Matt.. it's just.. I'm afraid to go there.. I mean, what if I do get pregnant? Then where would I be... in the same boat as my Aunt, raising a child conceived out of wedlock who's shunned by 98% of the family.."
"You don't have to explain yourself, Leane. We've only been together for a short time. I'm not expecting anything." Matthew said softly. "In truth, I don't think I'm ready to go that far so soon. I just want to be with you." He said with a small smile. "You're just incredibly tempting sometimes." He laughed.
