I haven't been very active on Menewsha for a while, but I think I'd like to come back. I've currently only got one living RP though. All the rest died a couple months ago right before I got inactive.

A little about me with regards to role playing.
I haven't been role playing for very long by RPing standards; only since about October of 2oo8. Before that I used to read and write fan-fics a lot though so it helped me to have a more advanced start in role playing.
I play mostly males. I am, contrary to popular belief, a girl (and a straight one at that), but I prefer to play males. I can play females, but I'm far better at males.
I would consider myself literate. I don't know about like advanced literate or anything like that, but simply literate. Like 3-4 medium-sized paragraphs I can manage if I try or if I'm really getting into it. Or, in a certain case, even more. Here's a sample of my more average role playing, though that was a long time ago so I feel like I've improved.

Now let's move on to story-lines and pairings.
I'm terrible at story-lines, so I'm actually going to skip that except for this; if you've got a story-line that's great. If you don't, then be prepared to talk it out with me.

Pairings.
This is one of the easiest ways to decide what to role play, so I'm going to go with it.
I'll go by world genre if that makes any sense, and then here's the codey thing.
Purple- I'd looooove to do this one.
Blue- Yes, I'll certainly do this one.
Teal- Maybe, if you convince me well enough.
Green- No way.
Red- YES YES YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS ONE PLEEEASE!

I also have a self-created creature that I'd like to try out if you'd like to hear about it. The temporary name for them is Velentars, but I don't really like it so I'm gonna try to figure out a new one.
They're practically like Elves, but generally they're the bad guys, and their senses are sharper, and depending on where they live, they have certain other attributes. Some live in rivers and are similar to merfolk, some live in the woods and have sharp claws and animal-like attributes, some live in caves and have night-vision, some live in deserts and have a higher tolerance to heat, etc.

Modern:
Band member/Band member (or groupie?)
Gang member/Member of another gang or civilian
Arranged marriage
Mutant (someone with superpowers)/Human or mutant

Futuristic:
Android/Human
Stowaway/Captain of (or someone important inside) a space craft

Just one main thing with Lord of the Rings: I want major Ringers. If you don't know what that term is then you might not be one. xD But you might, I don't know. If you've watched the movies and started reading the books but got bored then you don't count. I'm a hardcore fan and I want to find other hardcore fans.

I’d love to roleplay with you ^-^ I’m a fan of romance and adventure so ether one will do with me. out of the ideas you had listed I liked elf/half-elf, Elf/any race of creature, Elemental/Elemental, Daemon/Angel and I think it would be interesting to create a RP with the creature you’ve created.

Well if I had to narrow it down it would have to be elf/half-elf, Elf/any race of creature or something completely different with your created character. Sorry ^-^;; I’m sure that didn’t held to much but I like those ideas and I’m willing to do any of them.

This sounds like fun, the elf/half elf thing, if you guys don't mind I'd like to join you both. But, you might not accept me since my character is both original and at the same time not, I'm sure you know who it is just by looking at my name. Lol...

If you'd be willing to accept me in then I can help you decide on a plot for us all.

Id love to do a roleplay with the both of you ^-^ and _~Link~_ I absolutely loved those games so your good. So how should we do this? Two are an elf one is… o.o I don’t know what to call your creature, or one elf one half elf and… o.o. or.. something else? ^-^;;

He's a Hylian! =D A guy with pointy ears. Sorta like an elf. Maybe? O__o;; But yeah. I, too, am interested in RPing either alone or as a group. You all seem to be in the planning stages right now, so I think I'll go along with whatever you decide.

Good at making multi-paragraph posts (unless I have the worst writer's block ever, and fortunately that doesn't happen often for RPs).
I preferred playing females up to this point, but now I want to try my hand at males. So basically I can do either.

Yeah, so now that we've gotten to the point where we know that we have four players, we oughta get to plot-making. I guess Link's in charge of that? xD I like that; someone who can just make a plot so I don't have to. -sucks at plot making-

Eh, doesn't matter to me. You have a preference or would a certain one of the pairs make it easier for a story line?

I came up with a name for the enemies, The Nokken, Fire Nokken, Water Nokken, Forest Nokken. This is just an idea, dunno if you'd like it.

My plot idea is that all three of you live in the land that has no name yet and it is populated with normal people, as well as elves and the "Nokken". Yet one day, something causes an imbalance in nature, making all of the enemies lose control and go on a rampage, it appears that the humans have disturbed and destroyed most of their environments with their pollution and destructive ways. They now attack humans on a regular basis, causing panic among the innocent people with no hope of being saved. Until the day that my character comes across your land on his travels, this will make sense when you see my character profile (I hope) and travels to your native village to try and help.

After a long discussion and introduction, all three of us travel to the different places of the land, trying to figure out what is causing all of the problems and fix them. Along their travels they slowly grow a strong friendship together, especially my character, who will always be the one stepping in to take the hit for your characters and defend you. Strangely, we come across something more that isn't just the fault of humans, but the fault of an ancient evil a few years ago that once lived in that land. It is revealed by the Nokken that they weren't always bad, in fact they were a peaceful race and served an important part in that land's history.

There was once a pure evil, dark race of the Nokken, they were murderous and cruel and would sometimes kill anything that got close, no matter what it was. Once they discovered the humans they would stray into the villages at any time of day and drag away victims to feast on back at their home. The Forest Nokken were peaceful and felt pity for the humans, so all the Nokken banned together and fought a war against the evil Dark Nokken, they were successful and relished their victory. Sadly, the humans were not as thankful as they hoped, showing no appreciation for being rid of the Dark Nokken. This is what caused them all to grow mostly evil and little pranksters, because of the human's ungratefulness.

The day they began to grow out of control was because the Dark Nokken had managed to return, it was unimaginable how, but they were back and ready to take vengeance upon all the other Nokken tribes. After being told the whole history and situation, my character decides to team up with the now trustworthy Nokken and take down the Dark ones once again, for good.

This is what I came up with, I just can't think of a name for the land this would all take place in. XD

I like it. ^___^ I'm at a loss for good names, too, though. *Mai just woke up*

What about…. Takaaki, Cainoria, Krikoro, Serelan, Keenfair…. ^-^;;; I’m not very good with names unfortunately.

Wait how is Sushi Muffins newly created creature going to fit into this? Is he perhaps a traveler two or is their species also an inhabitance of this land?

ANYWAY. I have to read the story again because I did a few days ago and then sorta forgot and all, but I'll do that soon.
Yes, perhaps I could just be my creature. Just a rogue one of my race traveling about. At this point I'm looking at a clueless sort of character. That way I can act natural. xD Just have to decide if he's clueless because he's young or clueless because he's old...

I'm doing it on another site, but a different player and story could still be fun. ^___^ Got any particular story in mind or are you good at thinking them up? I sorta fail in that area... >,< I can contribute, but that's about it.

Oh, yeah, I forgot some people don't use them for 1x1s. xD I do sometimes. I'm not picky about it. Maybe just a very short one. Like name, age, powers, appearance. Something really quick. I suck at bios so I definitely won't do one of those. xD

I'm not picky about which one either... Maybe the one that's being hunted? Since I play mostly males I'm the hunter a lot rather than the hunted. Might be interesting to switch for a change. Just have to figure out the details on how my character betrayed them... >,o

And that doesn't matter, really. In the past I've played almost all males, but actually recently I've been able to play females not too terribly. I used to end up making the RPs die if I was female, but recently I've worked on my female-playing skills... So if you want to be the male I'm fine with it. ^___^
