((i was referring to have the time lapse from when the change happened and he woke up...like he was out for a few days before finally waking up. So by my count the lapse has already happened...unless you want it now?))

Sky only sat for a few second before jumping out of the chair again. Luckily by that time there was no longer a lap to sit in on the floor.

Dae nodded and pushed off of the floor, his feet sliding a little. With the doctors help he was able to balance himself enough to hobble over to the wheelchair. Sky padded up to the chair and put his front feet on top of his knees mewing in a demanding manner.

"Sky you've gotten a little bigger? Have I been out long?" He reached down and was able to half pull the dragon into his lap. Sky climbed up his legs helping. His claws would have once scraped him leaving long gouges, but there was no appearance of damage on his limbs from the claws.

JessiFlakes 07-24-2009 05:16 AM

Dr. Robbins helped sit Dae in the chair and unlocked the wheels. To address the question her responded, "Seven days. Apparently, Sky grows very quickly." he answered, wheeling him around to the back of the room where he pushed him through another door, which seemed to be an oversized bathroom with three stalls with showers and on the opposite wall were sinks. The back wall of the room was lined with a long mirror that took half the height of the wall in total, and stretched the entire length of the wall. "If you want, we can keep you in this chair. It might be easier."

((Uhm, let's see how it goes and if it slows down too much, we'll skip ahead. ))

Silverbeam 07-25-2009 01:40 AM

"a whole week?...wow..." As he was pushed into the bathroom he was reflecting about how long he was out when he was faced with his image.

There across the room were some very large mirrors. He gazed at the alien figure sitting in the chair. The doctors words fell on death ears as he stared. At first he didn't see anything that was him. It was all just so different, the colors especially. Once he saw past the bright hues he saw signs of himself in the creatures body. His face was mostly the same. He still had to arms and legs, roughly the same length and width. He was always in pretty good shape, and that had remained. The weird part was how well it fit. Like it wasn't the weird meld of two in patches and lumps, but like he had been designed by an artist.

He stood staring quietly, his mind slowly coming to accept that it was him. He waved a hand, stuck out a toe..... finally he made faces in the mirror, sticking his tongue out and wiggling his hands over his ears.

JessiFlakes 07-25-2009 10:37 PM

Dr. Robbins finally saw Dae looking at himself in the mirror, and realized that was why he wasn't answering him. It was the first he actually saw what he looked like now, of course he wouldn't be paying attention. Dr. Robbins laughed as he saw Dae's faces in the mirror. The doctor hadn't thought about the miror when he brought Dae in there, "Do you want to take a closer look?" he asked.

Silverbeam 07-26-2009 10:00 AM

He turned toward the doctor and nodded silently. Sky nuzzled as his cheek licking his face.

"Gah, I don't want a bath that way sky!" he thought about his new face and decided it wan't too bad. The blue was a bit unusual, and he would never pass as a normal human anymore. Well at least he was still alive. he wondered what he could do. Perhaps he could even fly with those wings.

JessiFlakes 07-26-2009 02:23 PM

Dr. Robbins pushed Dae closer to the mirror, laughing a bit at him and Sky. He looked at Dae's face in the mirror. Then caught sight of something he hadn't noticed before, "Your hair changed color too... I hadn't noticed until just now." he said, still looking through the mirror. "Well, what do you think?" he asked Dae. He had already said he thought it suited Dae, so he didn't feel the need to repeat himself. He was more curious about what Dae thought.

Silverbeam 07-26-2009 04:44 PM

He struggled for the words to explain how he felt. Emotions flitting on his face like a slide show.

"Uhm well...It's different, but I don't think I dislike it?" He poked and tugged at various parts of him, turning his face from side to side. He put out a foot to examine the new claws and structure. He was definitely going to need time to adjust, waking would be interesting.

JessiFlakes 07-26-2009 10:45 PM

"I suppose it is going to take some getting used to the fact that it really is you under there, aye?" he smiled, "In the mean time, you still need that bath." He watched Dae examine himself. The claws he had acquired on his feet were going to be hell on the floors of the facility if Dae didn't learn to handle them. "Ready? You can check yourself out later." he laughed.

Silverbeam 07-26-2009 11:38 PM

"Uh, yeah...being clean would be nice...that and I feel itchy!" He blushed a little thinking about how he probably smelled. he felt a little silly in needing to help being bathed, but his muscles and body were still weak and a bit over taxed from the rapid changes within him.
"uhm, you got a hose you can just spray me down with?" He laughed a little and petted Sky's head, who was now dozing in his lap.

JessiFlakes 07-26-2009 11:45 PM

Dr. Robbins laughed, "Well, like I was trying to say before you started admiring yourself, you have two options: one, I could try and hold you up the entire time, which is less favorabe, for both of us, I'm sure... Or, two, you could sit in the chair and we could try and work it around that way." He looked at the shower stall, which had plastic curtains for privacy, as well as being big enough to fit the chair and the two of them in one stall. "What do you think? Do you want me to help you, or do you want to try it on your own?"

Silverbeam 07-27-2009 03:10 AM

He sighed and looked a little glum.
"I don't think I could do it myself, just the little standing I did was a bit much. Well you got me into this mess It should be your job to take care of your lab animals, and it is your nose that's offended. I don't think Sky cares." he laughed a little, feeling a bit more calmer about the situation.

JessiFlakes 07-28-2009 01:50 AM

Dr. Robbins was put off by Dae's comments, "Do you think you can muster the energy to get naked, or do I have to strip you down too?" he said, through his furrowed eyebrows.

Silverbeam 07-28-2009 03:39 AM

His eyes went bug eyed and his face went bright purple....all the way from his forehead down his neck. (( I forgot he had a diff skin color so his blushes would be more purple than red.))

"Oh, uh, uhm? I think i can...." he started to reach for the ties in the back of the hospital gown. he was a little frantic so he pulled it a bit too quickly. he heard a ripping sound and he paused, looking sheepishly by at doctor Robbins. He looked kinda like a kid who had broken a lamp of his mothers and was about to be scolded.

JessiFlakes 07-28-2009 02:38 PM

Dr. Robbins looked away, eyebrows still furrowed and an expressionless mouth. When he heard the ripping sound he looked at Dae, and saw the expression on his face. He fought of a smile as he looked away from Dae once again and said, "It's fine, we have plenty more." He wasn't sure why Dae's words stung so much, despite Dae's tone. The doctor didn't think Dae meant to be so hurtful, but he had been. Not that Robbins would ever admit he was hurt by Dae, ever.

Silverbeam 07-28-2009 05:14 PM

((Awe...But you know why it hurts? Because he's right.... :P ))

"uh, Okay..sorry about that." he was more careful in taking it off trying not to rip or destroy it anymore than he had. when he had pulled it off his head he, embarrassed waded it up in his lap....After he took a look of course. At least that area hadn't changed much.

JessiFlakes 07-31-2009 04:02 AM

((Actually, moreso because he cares about Dae, and Dae thinks the opposite. So... Well, we'll see what happens now... ))

Dr. Robbins said again in his flat voice, "It's fine." as he took off his labcoat and put it on the counter. He walked over to the door and said to one of the scientists who was lurking in the lab, cleaning up, "We're going to need suitable clothes for the subject for after this." he said.
When he walked back to Dae, the ripped up hospital gown was in his lap, "You're going to have to get rid of that to take a shower."

He took his own tie and shirt off, then his shoes and pants; he was left in a pair of simple blue boxers. He could very well wear all his clothes in the shower, but he wasn't about to get completely naked around Dae. He walked behind Dae and pulled him into a stall and drew the curtain to cover them.

He turned the shower on and measure the temperature. It was the type of warm that seeped into the skin and warmed one to the bone. He wasn't sure how well Dae would feel it, but it felt good to the doctor. He tried not to show any of the relaxation he felt at first, but then realize, considering the situation, it might be best to relax a little around Dae. He looked Dae in the face, "How's this?"

Silverbeam 07-31-2009 04:36 AM

Dae blushed and averted his eyes from the doctor. Bad enough that he had to be naked in front of the man let alone him being nearly so himself. shyly he put the ripped cloth to the side. Sky immediately pounced upon it and began to further rip it to shreds. Dae rolled his eyes but decided to ignore it. It would occupy the little guy at least.

he could feel the warmth of the water and the tenpeture raise slightly as some steam filled the air. He put out a hand to touch the water and nodded. It felt fine. HE thought he could handle hotter but it wasn't really necessary.

"That's fine. Thank you." He smiled and blushed trying to look and yet not look at the man.

JessiFlakes 07-31-2009 05:04 PM

Dr. Robbins smiled, "Alright then. How much do you think you can handle on your own?" he asked, pulling Dae more into the water, and grabbing a washcloth and bar of soap from a shelf on the wall that also held other assortments of hygene products for the shower. He rubbed the bar of soap against the cloth until it was soapy enough to work with and replaced the soap on the shelf. He held the cloth out to Dae, "Do you want to, or shall I? I mean, you're obviously going to need help with other places, but what you can do on your own, I'd think you'd want to. This seems a bit awkward for you."

And then the doctor realized: he wasn't feeling awkard at all himself. He was standing there in the shower in his drawers, with another man, and he wasn't even blushing. He felt completely normal. Maybe it was because he was numbed to the fact that Dae was another person. With what Dae had said before, he had reverted into what could be considered his mad scientist state, where he didn't care about the feelings of his subject. He had isolated his feelings and ignored them.

Silverbeam 08-01-2009 12:35 AM

"I think I can get whats within reach..he reached for the soapy cloth and scrubbed at the more sensitive areas. His arms were growing tired quickly but he pressed on to try and soap as much as he could. He wasn't able to get much of his back or his limbs so he sighed and haded the cloth back. He shrugged.

"Sorry, for the trouble."

JessiFlakes 08-01-2009 03:13 AM

Dr. Robbins watched out of the corner of his eye, to see where he was going to have to help him wash. He held his hand out as he looked at Dae, "It's fine. I can take over." Now he was starting to get the awkward feeling in his stomach. He was going to have to touch a naked 17-year-old. That would make any man feel weird though, right?

Silverbeam 08-01-2009 04:58 AM

"Don't forget to get behind my ears." He grinned trying to make a joke out of it and ease the situation. He stared at a spot on the wall and tried not to be nervous. Sky had finished tearing up the labcoat and pushed through the curtain. He immediately found a puddle and started splashing it trying to bite the spraying water.

Dae couldn't help but laugh at the cute little guy. He seemed to always be a cheerful little thing. It made Dae feel much better about himself. At least he had made a friend in this, perhaps even two....

JessiFlakes 08-02-2009 01:30 AM

Dr. Robbins couldn't help but laugh, "I'll remember that." she said. He picked up Dae's arm, resting it against his own and began gently washing down his shoulder blade and under his arm and down his ribcage... It wasn't as bad as it could be... Not yet. At least Dae got his man parts, so Dr. Robbins would be spared the embarrassment, as well as Dae.

He looked at Sky, and couldn't help but laugh himself, "Happy little goofball, ain't he." he stated moreso than asking.

Silverbeam 08-03-2009 04:05 AM

"He is. Sky seems to find happiness in any situation. Perhaps..." He shook his head leaving the sentence unfinished. It was too soon for him to be able to say what he hoped for. That he could find this as a complete and happy experience. Perhaps with a bit more time.

"I think I'm ready to be rinsed now..." he smiled lightly and looked up at the doctor's face.

JessiFlakes 08-03-2009 05:16 PM

"Perhaps...? What?" he asked. He was half hoping Dae would say 'Perhaps I can be the same way.' about the situation he was in, but when he stopped, it made the doctor think he really wasn't going to.

"I'm not done washing you yet." He smiled a little back, "Might as well rise off though." he said, putting the cloth over his shoulder and pulling Dae closer into the water, "Tell me if I'm drowning you," he laughed a little, more a half-laugh.

Silverbeam 08-06-2009 04:47 PM

Dae got the urge to grab the hose and...well why not? He grabbed the hose and turned it's spray upon the man who he liked his smile.

"What bout you doc! Maybe your dirty too." he giggled and grinned at him dousing him.
