Sakura gasped and covered her mouth with shock. "Oh dear god..." She was an animal lover so the sight tore her up inside. "This isn't the work of animal...the cuts are too even...this was done by someone human or vampire or...other to prove a point of some sort..." Whoever did it was evil as all hell.

Acheron nodded. "it was certainly done on purpose, but for what reason i seriously doubt it's to scare us, more like a challenge, yeah the vampires would take it as a challenge."
he walked outside and fell to his knees he nearly gagged but managed to hold it in. "we'll have to let the others know, we have an enemy" shaking his head he lent against a tree. "and i enjoyed riding them to" |
Sakura quickly drifted over to him and placed her hand on his back, even though her hand could still slip through him at anytime. "I'm so sorry Acheron..." She looked back at the horses. "Such majestic creatures...it's such a shame." She then focused on Acheron, using her powers of wind to keep the smell from his nose. "Come on, let's go inform Lady Vexous..." she cooed softly.

As she felt the strange chill envelop her hand she inhaled sharply at the suddenness of it. It was a completely harmless and sweet gesture on his part, just the sudden 'someone-dumped-cold-water-on-my-hand' feeling surprised her. She quickly gave him a bittersweet smile to assure him he didn't scare her or do anything wrong.
"What do you mean fading out?" She looked at him in slight alarm, as he began to change the subject and onto the mistress of the castle. Hoping he would answer her yet she responded to him anyway. "I don't see why that would be a bad weakness to have compassion for other beings. Takes a noble person to be that way." |
Darious smiled. "yeah i guess your right, i never really thought about it like that."
He winched alittle as she asked the question about himself "well you see many other ghost can touch things, and many are merely a hundred years old...... but i......... i just cant seem to, Vexous says i haven't have the desire to touch anything yet that's why i cant, but i think differently." looking to the sky he raised his hands up so he could look through them. "sure i can make my form not so see through but it's not the same actually touching something, or someone." shaking his head he started walking again. "but enough about me, what do you do for a living around here?" he asked. "as for the fading part, there is a time in every ghosts life where they fade out, it's not that they disappear it's more like no one can see or hear her anymore, your stuck wondering like that, you dont move on." Acheron nodded at Sakura. "i think that would be wise, but i'm not sure where she is, i think she may be down in the garden with Tania and Rasul." Acheron hadn't heard or seem Vexous leave the castle with Mikhial, so he only suspected that they were still down there. "do you think it wise to tell everyone down there, or should we wait and tell Lady Vexous once she's alone? i dont want to worry the others, or frighten the other humans that are staying here." |
Araceli paused to contemplate what he had just told her about other ghosts and how they could touch things if willed enough to. "Maybe you have to practice more when in your more solid form. Maybe that would help." she bit her lower lip as she continued to follow him through the forest.
"its too bad I can't do anything to help him." She thought as she looked up at his shimmering floating form ahead of her. "It'd be quite sad for him to just simply fade away..." Pushing her thoughts away when he had asked what she did, she chuckled softly to herself. "Well, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a devil hunter. Demon hunter. Whatever you wan to nickname it these days... Or nights rather. Just try to keep order and chaos down to a minimum. Though it had been pretty quiet for me these nights. I'll probably be soon out of a job!" She laughed lightly. |
Darious stopped walking for a moment. "you know i've never tried that, huh! your a genius i could kiss you." he turned and smiled at her. "guess this means i'll owe you one once i do figure out how to do it." he said as he winked at her, then turned and started walking again.
His spirit was just that little bit higher, he was almost happy. "demon hunter hey?" he looked over his shoulder back at her. "i've known a few in my time, they tried hunting down Lady Vexous kind many of times." "but i'm sure you not That kind of hunter" he said with a laugh "i donno bout you going outa a job tho, i have a feeling things may get messy around here. After all some many creatures have gathered here in this one area, i recon something big is gonna go down." he was slightly nodding as if agreeing to what he was saying himself. They reached the edge of the forest in no time. "i think you'll have to take the led from here, i dont know where i'm going past this point" |
alice was half way asleep she was getting rather bored waiting "damnit hurry this shit up." she looked at all the people at least someone could bite the girl. she soon did fall asleep while waiting for the change.

Sakura nodded. "It's best we inform her while she's alone, I must agree. Most humans are scared enough as it is without the threat of a new, sadistic enemy." She shivered again, remembering her previous master. At least he wasn't THAT sadistic...

She smiled back at him with an amused expression, one brow slightly raised. "Oh? Well then I guess you do owe me the favor if you figure it out. Your would've gotten it yourself eventually though." She blushed slightly at the thought of him kissing her anyway.
"No, I'm not out for the Lady Vexous at all. Just keeping the peace. Though you think that things are going to get messier... Why? Someone suspicious that you've come across maybe?" She was growing excited at the thought of someone new to track, things had been eerily quiet for her for a while and she was growing tired of it. Though Darious was keeping her throughly entertained for the time being. She was surprised to see the edge so quickly and disappointed as well. The small flame that had found her that she had carried along this whole time vanished suddenly. "Well I guess we'll see how far you can go Darious." She said as she took the lead. "It's a pretty quick walk this way back to the church though. Are you sure you want to continue escorting me? I understand if you don't want to anymore?" She had slowed her steps to wait for his answer. "I'm sure I'll see you again if you really feel that something is about to go down. Feel free to let Lady Vexous know that she can call on me if she has need for me at all." |
Mikhial darted across the forest grounds with the speed of a vampires flinting and with a grace and stealth that would even make a ghost jealous. (cause they can just go through things you know) He let out a howl of excitement as he rushed in the direction that he last recalled seeing the light of his now found pry.
Bounding past Vexous in the pond without even taking a glance in her direction as he practically glided over the waters without making a single sound. Only leaving behind small wakes in the water as he already disappeared out of view. He could now see the small flame again and the two figures that were with it. He howled again for the thrill of the hunt as he neared the outer limits of the forest. The light then went out. But that mattered little to Mikhial, he already had the sent of the one figure and even though the other didn't seem to have much of a sent of its own he could still catch it as the once still wind started to pick up. As he neared he remained out of sight. His dark fur being easily cloaked by the shadows of the forest. He slowed his pace so to watch and observe his pry before moving in. Wanting them to live in the fear before he attacked. (I don't know it ghost smell or not?) |
Hey, Vexous, Theikos thought as he licked the blood from his fingers, I have some unfinished business to attend to that I've left for too long, so I'll be gone for a few days. He had left it too long and if he didn't take care of it now, it would have disastrous results. "Why did they have to appoint me the guardian?" he questioned. Standing, he began to stride off towards the east.

Rasul thought it over for a moment. "I don't think there's any place that'd be more comfortable or make it go any faster for you," he said turning so that he was now facing her. He had turned a few from another vein but they had not been right even before their turning and had enjoyed the experience a bit too much. "All you have to do is stand still and wait, dear. Don't worry about the wolf. He was only there for precautions." His hand slid from her shoulder to where it joined her neck. Even without pressing he could feel her pulse beneath the skin...just...beneath...the skin. We are alone, he told himself. They are trusting you, just like you wanted. Do only as you are supposed to. "Here we go," he barely breathed the warning, parting his lips and moving with the restraint of a wild cat as it preyed on a nervous animal. She was so small compared to him. He had to kneel down to make it comfortable for himself. Once the tips of his fangs brushed her skin, he no longer held back and bit down as quickly and cleanly as he could.

Tania shuddered slightly as Rasul's fangs briefly brushed her skin, then gasped as his teeth bit straight down. 'It hurts.' she thought, biting deep into her lip to keep her screams locked inside, almost successful but for the whimper that escaped with the blood dripping from her mouth. Tania had her body locked in a stale mate, managing to keep her self anchored in position by grabbing and holding onto Rasul. 'My blood is disappearing!' she could feel her hands and feet losing all blood and going freezing cold. Her vision started to disappear at the edges and she was rapidly losing conscious, 'I don't want to die, then I'd never see Rasul again.' Tania thought to herself, beginning to slip into the darkness.
Tania woke from her slumber and stood, stretching out the kinks in her limbs from sitting in her position for so long. "Was it really all a dream?" she cried out, tears streaming down her face. She got up slowly, walking down the hall to the small bathroom. She bent to wash her face caught a glimpse of herself in the small glass mirror. Startled, Tania glanced at her arms, scared to find that they were transparent too. She gave a scream like a banshee, and flung her body through the layers of stone and into her no longer breathing body held in Rasul's arms. She drew in a breath with shock, her eyes flipping open. She continued her scream but this time it was a scream of both happiness and suffering as her spirit forced her body to stay alive. "I made it back." Tania whispered, looking at Rasul and giving a half-smile, half-grimace. |

Darious smiled, "i'd love to test it out" he answered as he walked beside her, "oh but i should make sure i'm not see through" he told her with a wink just before he took a deep breathe and willed himself visible. "as much as i love messy with peoples heads i dont want you to have a bad name." he admitted. "to the church then!" smiling at her. Acheron nodded in agreement. "lets do down to the garden and wait till every things done. this is a matter i do not wish to leave unattended." with that he motioned for her to follow him. "I kinda feel sorry for Tania though, with her going through all this at the same time." Vexous just glanced lazy to where the wolf had been. he must be hungry. she was getting dressed when Theikos sent her his message. i understand she sent back. but i do hope you come back, i would love to learn more about your kind if thats possible, i hope all goes well for you. she was going to head back to the castle. "darious is probably wondering where i am" she said shaking her head, she headed off. the sent of blood hit her. "Ah they did it!" smiling she moved a little faster. |
She laughed at him as he turned back to a more solid shape. "Yes yes, I do have a rep to keep up around town. Though it isn't much. Sometime I'm not sure who the villagers fear worse, me or those I hunt down." She started to move down the path further and towards the village. "Well let's see how far we can make it to the church before you disappear." She said over her shoulder, though at that moment a strange feeling went through her. It was like someone was watching them, and it caused the hairs on her neck to raise. It was probably just her imagination, though the woods held all sorts of secrets and creatures.
"Probably just an old owl or something." She muttered to herself shaking her head slowly. |
Sakura nodded. "Ok, let's go" she said softly, not leaving his side.

he could see her unease in her body language but didn't understand why, he glanced behind him at the mention of an owl. "hmm" "so has anything strange been happing in the village?" he wasn't really trying to change the subject but maybe figure out what they were soon to deal with. Acheron was almost running when he saw a figure approaching the castle. "Lady Vexous?" he said in confusion. "Sakura i think thats her, come on." running up to her Vexous he stopped in front of her and bowed in greetings. "My lady what are you doing out here, i thought you were with Tania?" he asked. Vexous smiled as Sakura and Acheron came near. she waved in hello. "oh i was, but Mikhial did a number on himself, so i helped by getting him outside, oh he's a werewolf i meet the other day just incase you'se two didn't know, then i went to a swim." she laughed alitle. "you know the usual me, so whats up?" she asked. ((not to worry it happens to the best of us, and at the worst times to :P)) |
Araceli turned her head to look at him as they started to walk through the village now. "Anything strange? Well nothing too new. There was the farm issue that was apparently dealt with." She paused as a small shiver overcame her form. "What was that man really? Such strange eyes. Not a normal Vampire or Were." Turning her thoughts quickly away from the man at the farm and the cow he had consumed, she continued. "Well, there has been an issue of people missing here and there about around the time of the full moon. No one has been able to solve that one though. Seems like most of those that have disappeared were lured into the woods and were young women around their early teens and young women." She frowned at the thought of the disappearances and glanced up at the moon once. "Why do you ask Darious?"

Sakura curtsied before Lady Vexous. "Your highness, I'm afraid we have some alarming news." She looked around nervously, her colorless eyes wide, they seemed alone but..."If I may be so bold, may we move to someplace more...hidden?" she asked meekly.
