Alexia saw the scar and got a question in her face. She stayed quiet because she thought he would get mad at her if she asked.

She chuckled a little at his statement, "Well felt that way too, just wanted to be sure." She propped herself on her elbows with some difficulty before responding, "Yeah I can move a bit, just takes a bit more effort." She sighed softly before gritting her teeth and bending her knees in. With her feet on the ground now, she braced herself as she placed weight on them and began to stand slowly. Her upper half of her body bent forward with her arms dangling in front of her in case she needed to catch herself from a unplanned fall. When she had stood finally, her upper half still bent, and her hands on her knees she looked to the stream. "I can do this." She softly said to herself.
Slowly Araceli shuffled to the water's edge then began to walk into the cold water. She made it to the center, the water a bit further up her waist than it would be on Darious. "It's... Cold!" She cried out like a small child, though it sounded more like a croak at the moment. Drawing in another breath, Araceli submerged her whole body underwater. She stopped moving completely, trying to become still. Her eyes opened under the water out of curiosity. It had been a long time since she had last been "swimming" or anything close to it in the wild. A distant memory came back to her, one of her childhood with her older brother. They had been swimming and playing around in a small pond, the sun was out with the weather incredibly warm. Her chest ached with the memory of her family. At just as soon as the memory came, it quickly left her as there seemed to be a strange faint blue glow at the bottom of the stream. The glow seemed to touch her right foot, then began to slowly crawl it's way up her leg then up her torso. It was ghostly and almost alive, kind of like Darious when he was in his spirit form. The strange thing, she wasn't startled at all. The eerie light felt warm like the sun on her face in her memories of childhood, and it felt slightly warmer if not hot on her wounds. Closing her eyes now, she waited as the warmth crept up her neck and began touching the wound there. The heat began to increase rapidly there, her hands reached up to her neck. Pushing herself back up, she came out of the water gasping for air. The light beginning to dim now from her. Feeling her neck, she could feel that the wound there was closing like someone was sewing the skin shut but without any sutures left behind. Her strength seemed to have returned as well. "I had heard that, though I did not know if it were true or not. We did not have many free spirits in my homeland that we could test this theory on. Though I would like to possibly try." He answered her. "What brings on this idea?" He was curious as to which direction she was going now. |
He smiled at Alexia. "Come on then, we dont want to be standing here the whole night"
walking back down the way they had come he caught a wif of the smell of smoke. "thats odd" he said aloud. reaching the kitchen the smell was stronger, but there was no fire anymore. he frowned as he saw the burnt insides of the kink ten. "what happened here?!" Darious went to grab her as she went under the water, but decided against it. if the stories about the water were true then it would be wise to leave her. "only for a little while" he said aloud, he was slightly scared that she wouldn't reappear. As she broke through the water he let out a sigh of relief. she her wound closing made him smile. thank the heavens he'd done the right thing. "how do you feel?" he asked her hesitate to move forward, it wasn't the fact that he didn't want to, it was the water it's self. He'd only known how to get here before of one fact. This is where i woke up as a spirit. he'd heard later that his life less body had been thrown from the castle into the mote that once surrounded it, he'd floated down to here. waking up he'd seen his body lying in the water and new at once that he was dead. "oh i've tested it, and the human will ether try to help him or get the locket back, ether way it will course her death, sweet Darious will be able to have her then" she let out and evil chuckle and couldn't stop smiling. |
"I feel... Really good actually." She smiled at him. "Thank you for bringing me here. You saved me." It was funny how close she could have been to being gone just a few moments ago. "Are you alright though?" She asked as concern changed her features, her green eyes went to search his as best as they could. "Darious, what's wrong? You look hesitant... And upset." She pushed her long wet hair back with her hands as waited for his response.
"Hmm... Well perhaps after you've fed though. I'm not opposed to finding this ghosts' remains then." He responded to her. ((Sorry so short with Vincent. I've got the writer's block with him now apparently.)) |
Vexous lent back into Vincent suddenly feeling like she wanted to flirt with him a little. "well you see that's the easy part, the human will be wearing the necklace that has a few strands of his hair in it, we have that and it's easy pickings." she whispered into his ear, her hand moved to a stop on his upper thigh so she could have the right leverage to lean back and reach his ear to do so.
((Does that help :P)) Darious smiled down at her. "it's nothing really, i'm okay, just a little shaken by the night's events is all." Reaching out his hand to help her out of the water, "come on you dont want to catch a cold now do you" "i dont like seeing that look on your face, concern isn't something you should have for me, it should be for you and your went clothes" he said with a cheeky grin. |
His eyes half closed as he listened to her talk more about her plan, a grin on his lips. "So grab the human to gain this locket of his and burn it which will cause him to writhe in some small amount of agony." He smoothed his hands down the sides of her upper arms on both sides of her body. "You sound like you want to get rid of this spirit and human duo more than get that new clothing and food that you were wanting earlier." He eyed her torn clothes again before slipping a hand between her arm and torso to catch hold the blue fabric. He played with the shreds delicately. "Luckily we don't grow cold easily." He chuckled softly.
((Aww, Vampire flirting. Then they going to go kill stuff. How cute. XD )) Araceli hesitated for a moment before taking his hand and stepping out of the water. "Alright Darious, I'll believe you for now." She returned the smile with one of her own then looked down at herself. "You're right about my clothes being wet and catching a cold. That would be the last thing we'd need after everything that had happened tonight. How sad would that be, for a cold to take me down instead?" Laughing at the idea felt good at the moment. "My weapons are still intact, I just need something I can move in so we can pursue Vexous yet. Can't fight in a dress that's for sure." She shook her head at the thought. "Maybe I should go back tot he cathedral to grab something." Though it was a bit of a long walk for her at the moment, and she'd have to go through the smoldering village. |
Josephine turned to look at Vexous, "So, should I head for the castle? Or is there somewhere else you want me to go too first?" She was a little uncertain about where the conversation was heading, "Why would you want to hurt the ghost, or any humans?" She thought to herself, 'Besides wizards that is.' She shook her wings out so the spread to the sides, "Prepare yourselves!" She roared, launching into the sky with a powerful thrust of her legs. She struggled for a moment, then caught the wind and let it carry her, "So, what was our destination again?"

Hint: Acheron's a wizard ;) )) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tania woke, still groggy, with the brief notion that someone was talking about her. "Whatever, it was probably nothing." she mumbled to herself, pulling on a pair of worn shorts she found near herself. "But I might as well try to find my way back to the castle." Turning to leave, she caught sight of her reflection in the mirror, but where she thought she'd see herself, instead there was a small wolf, with shadow's pooled around it's paws. "This, this isn't good," she said, remembering last night, "Am I really part werewolf now?" Tania stepped into the full moonlight, and could feel her bones shifting and rearranging themselves, "I guess I am." She could smell the trail left by another of her kind, and so she started to follow it, at first she was padding along, but soon she was sprinting for the sheer fun of it. That was why when she first passed by his dead body she missed it, but soon went back. When Tania saw the crushed head she howled, a sound that could rip out your heart. Black shadows swirled around her, covering her completely and leaving only a starless patch of night. 'They will pay.' she vowed silently, 'They will pay.' |
Darious bit his lower lip. "well umm there may be another way, if i'm right this stream leads straight to the under ground garden under the castle, you could grab some clothes there, and it's closer to the castle from here then it is to the village."
helping her out of the water he couldn't help but notice how her wet clothes stuck to her showing of more of her curves. if he wasn't already dead he'd be brushing. Clearing his throat he continued. "of course i could get there earlier but how long can you hold your breathe for?" he asked. he wasn't worried ether way, he could use his powers over the wind and air to help her. "how else do we get away with wearing all that skimpy clothing" she replied with a giggle. "food sounds good for now tho, the killing can wait.. i guess" she finished with a sigh. "I'm getting myself to excited about this, i've never been this close to being myself again" watching him play with her dress made her grin widen. "I cant get my revenge on the one who did it to me, this one already did that" she said inclining her head towards the dragon Josephine. "his son will do at least, Oh Josephine you didn't know did you." Holding on to Vincent tighter as they took off. "Acheron's that wizards son!" |
"That sounds like a better plan actually." She glanced over to where the water was coming from, her eyes unable to make out the entrance of where the water poured from. "I can't hold it for that long, use to be better at it when I had practice. Maybe close to a minute though?" She turned her her eyes back on him as she answered his question with a question to herself.
"Oh I've seen some unpleasant Vampiric sights Vexous." He whispered the words in her ear before they rose into the night air on the Dragon's back. Tilting his head slightly back, he closed his eyes and inhaled through his nose. "You can smell much on the wind up here." He was referring to their previous caused chaos as well as the scent of blood that had been spilled earlier this evening. He was quite happy at the moment, especially since he found new playmates that had the same appeals as he did, well for the most part at least. |
"i can supply you with air if you dont mind kissing me" he wasn't really thinking about what he was saying until it had already left his lips. "I mean i can only summon the air into my mouth other wise the water would just swallow it up before i could give it to you, and it's easier for me to summon it in my mouth.......am i making any sense at all" he finished with a shy laugh.
Vexous closed her eyes as the wind wiped over her. "hmmm this feels great". ((cant think of anything else :O)) |
((First off, your post with Darious made me laugh pretty hard. I could see him being all awkward like and saying this really fast. :O
Its cool, we have to wait for the Josephine to talk as well. :P)) Araceli's eyes grew wide momentarily before she broke into a vibrant blush. She laughed along with him after he gave his explanation, the color receding from her cheeks slowly. "No no, it all makes sense." She stepped closer to him biting her lower lip lightly as she did. "Um, whenever you're ready. Just promise me that you won't lose me underwater alright?" She peered up at him through her thick lashes giving a shy smile of her own. |

"that's good then" Darious could feel the butterfly's flying around in his stomach. but he couldn't figure out if it was from the fact that he would probably have to kiss Araceli or the fact that he had to go in the water. ether way it has to be done. "i'll keep a hold of your hand, that way you can easier let me know that you need air okay?" stepping into the water he didn't feel a thing, the water didn't part for him ether it was like he was apart of it. "To go farther up" he said pointing in the direction of the castle. "we first have to go down" he moved his arm lower down close to where they were standing. "see that dark patch, that's a tunnel." |
She was feeling nervous as they moved into the water. Two reasons of course. She was nervous about having to kiss Darious, not that it'd be a bad thing. Just that she wished it were under more pleasant and an unrushed situation. Two because of getting lost in the water and drowning, it had almost happened once when she was younger. It was that last time she had remembered when she had been swimming with her older brother, a memory her body seemed to want to keep sealed away, at least the darker part of it.
"We can do this." She said looking at the tunnel entrance as she began submerge her body once more in the water. "Ready when you are Darious, and I'll let you know when I need air." She said nodding her head once, her eyes still on the tunnel entrance way. |
Alexia followed and saw the burnt stuff and frowned. She couldn't believe that even the mansion wasn't safe.

"Hmmp!! He owes me… for this. I cant believe what I’m doing…” Kaedo mumbled after Alex had thanked him for his help. Then pulling Alex close to him and turning her about so she would be facing his chest as he wrapped his one arm about her and held the other above his head. Then he started to chant something that had to be in some other language. His body becoming colder like iced over steel as a strange white mist started to seep through the flames as if it were a ghost. A sudden wind holwed threw the kitchen bringing with it what appered to be snow. The snow becoming denser as it slowly began to overcome the smoke. The sound of the flames started to smolder and pop as the magics deathly touch grasped it turning it into solid ice, before shattering like frail glass and bursting into little pices. Kaedo then grabed Alex closer to him, so make sure the shards did not harm her. Then it was silent. The flames were gone and Kaedo was no longer chanting his incantation. His raised arm dropping from the air as his other arm lossend around Alex, releasing her from his grasp. “Don’t fear.. the glass…. It shall melt… away… into nothingness.” He said meekly as he stumbled back. A remaining gust of aura from his magic blowing his hiar over his face before diminishing into nothingness. Then Kaedo’s attention suddenly shot up and he peered at the figure in the door, as though confused. “I… master...” he began to explain and then toppled over backward before he could muster saying anything eals. |
Darious reached out and took Araceli's hand in his, it felt so good to bearable to touch something, but it was strange that it was only her he could touch. have i really grown that attached to her in this short time.....?
shaking the thought away he concentrated on the task at hand. "here me go!" walking with her to just above whee the tunnel lay under water he lightly squeezed her hand, purely because he could. "okay take a deep breathe, and make sure to let me know when your running out of air." diving into the tunnel he used his powers to make the water slightly push them along through the tunnel. He was afraid that swimming straight down would course Araceli to tire out quickly. the current that he had created only stopped them from floating upwards it would be the power from there swimming that would allow them to go down. Darious intertwined his hand with her's and use his other hand/arm to push his body forward. He didn't know how far or how long it would take them to reach the castle, but he hoped it was long. His body shivered as he remembered the feeling of his life less body floating through water, it was an erie feeling, something one did not want to feel under the certumtances. Acheron turned to the Vampire Angel. "Guess food will have to wait" he told her as he tummy rumbled. "I do hope that everyone is okay though, time to renovate i guess" he laughed alittle. "vexous will love that, she never really like the kitchen in the first place..." he trailed off as his mind wondered to the pass events that had happened. "it's amazing how quickly your world can come crashing down, and we still dont know what's up with those wolves....OH my sorry, i guess you dont really know what going on do you?" she grinned sheepishly and he rubbed his head. "an i boring you with all this talk?" |

Acheron smiled back at Alexia. "well at least i made you laugh."
I should properly check out Valerious's old hand out...the lab...to see if there might be any clues there. "would you mind helping me with something?" he asked her, normally he didn't like asking for help, but if he was right and something or someone use using Valerious's research again, things could be bad. "I would like to investigate a certain area for some clues in regards to the strange happenings around here, and i could use your skills, after all i'll only human!" |
Alex watched Kaedo, a little shocked by his pulling her close to him. Her schock faded when he began to chant. She was completely absorbed in Kaedo's magic and her eyes glazed over. Why is it so cold all of a sudden? She almost jumped out his arms when his body got cold.
Alex nervously looked around at the quickly freezing flames but she trusted that Kaedo knew what he was doing. Her vision began to clear as the smoke turned into snow. She held out her hand to allow few flakes to land and melt on her palm. Smiling, she laughed quietly. Alex let out a quick gasp and moved closer to Kaedo when the frozen flames shattered. A shard grazed her cheek when he pulled her closer a drop of blood rolled down her cheek. But the silence was even more overwhelming. While everything was settling she dropped her arms to her side and the final gust fluttered her skirt. Alex turned around when Kaedo's attention shot towards the door. "Acheron!" She smiled and waved at him. She completely forgot about what just happened for a moment. But her eyes grew wide and she ran to Kaedo's side when he fell. "Are you gonna be okay?" |
Acheron heard his name being called and looked behind him to see Alex.
But that wasn't the only thing, as he had turned he saw the slave he'd always looked after fall to the ground. He gasped out loud and was soon running towards him. "you silly boy." he said as he knelt down beside him. "i've told you before to be careful when using magic, it drains those who are untrained." shaking his head he looks at Alex. "help me move him" He had been to engrossed with what was happening to even notice that that the two of them had been there all along, separated by the flames in the center of the kitchen. |
Alex watched Acheron rush over to her and Kaedo. Silly boy? Are they related? She was extremely confused but she was willing to help Acheron in any way possible. "What do you need me to do?" She was looking at Kaedo, worried whether he would be ok.

Acheron was shaking his head at Kaedo as he wrapped on of the boys arms around his shoulders. "you grab his other arm and we'll get him in the lounge room on a chair."
He must have escaped..thank god vexous didn't see him. Kaedo was one of Acheron slaves, he'd been given to him by Vexous many years ago, mainly because Vexous didn't like him at all, she was very cold towards him, properly because she knew he could use magic, but what she didn't know was that Acheron was teaching him to control it. "i really hate it when he calls me master" he said aloud not meaning to. He'd grown rather fond of the boy, he'd even call him a friend. |
Alex did as Acheron said and took Kaedo's other arm over her shoulders. "Is Kaedo your pupil or something?" She glanced at Acheron but looked back at Kaedo to see if he was doing okay.

Acheron smile down at Alex. "i guess you could say that, vexous said he came with the castle which i find strange, i have to idea how one person could survive down there for that long, but she intrusted me to look after him, so i try my best."
Placing him on a chair he sat down beside the boy. "he's getting much stronger" Turning to face Alex after he'd made Kaedo more comfortable he spoke. "The night sure as been full of surprises for you hasn't it?" |
Alex sat down in a chair near Kaedo and let out a sigh. That was more difficult than I had expected. She listened to Acheron as he talked about how he knew Kaedo. "What do you mean down there? Was he in the basement or something?" Her curiousity was eating at her again. I shouldn't ask so many questions. I'm so nosey!
Alex looked over at Kaedo again when Acheron said he was doing better. Is he really ok? She had her doubts but she didn't say so. Alex's mind began to rush after Acheron inquired on her adventures this evening. Overwhelming pressure building inside of her, needing a way to get out and she just opened up. "You wouldn't believe what's happened to me tonight!" She paused for a moment. "Well, maybe you would, but that's not the point. After that lady vampire up and attacked you she came after me, like she was teasing me or playing with my mind or something. I didn't know what to do. But somehow I got away and found the ballroom and then she followed me and another guy tried to save me but he got attacked to. But then, then I had found something silver..." Alex stopped and looked at Acheron. "Like you had told me to do..." She looked questioningly at him. "How did you do that?" |
