"i got ya Joe," she called josephine by the nick name she used while they were once captured. "bout time be got going, oh you with the wings!" she called out to Alexia, "follow us if you want to have some fun." a grin spread across her face and she sat herself down behind Joe's front legs. "head north for now and i'll guide you." she told her.
After moving for several feet in the air she lent gently on her right wing to let her to turn slightly right, the wind wasn't to bad in her face, at least it was keeping her hair out of the way. "there land there!" she called out as the cave's opening came into view. she braced herself for the landing as the dragon seemed to dive for the ground. Acheron lay on his belly about to feel really sick. "i never thought i'd have to do a thing like this." he mumbled to himself, he hated felling so vulnerable and so weak, but in these situations it couldn't be helped. Going to step of the dragon he was still dizy so he pretty much fell off of her and was headed for the hard ground. Darious and Araceli ran as fast as they could up the stairs only to see the last bit of Vincent as he jumped out the window onto Josephine. He gritted his teeth and ran to the window. "JOSEPHINE!" he called after her. but it was already to late, they were out of site flying on the dragons back. |

Alexia was instantly by Acheron when he fell off of his dragon. She stayed in flight and kept him up by pulling on his arms from behind. "Don't fall Mr. Acheron." She said not wanting to lose her new found friend. She found rare friends and sometimes became to protective of them besides the fact that most could take care of themselves.

Dhaymar thought he heard noise outside and crouched into the corner of his hidey hole. Maybe something had caught a whiff of his scent and had become intoxicated with it. He smiled hoping so. He was hungry and it had been a while since his last meal. He waited there patiently hoping for a fat catch this time. He looked over his trap again seeing it was all in order and grinned pleased with himself. He pushed more of his scent out so whatever was coming would be able to follow it into his trap.

Vincent turned to smile at the two as they burst up the last round of steps and into view before he followed Vexous and Josephine back out into the night. He sat quietly as they flew to their newest destination making way for a cave entrance.
"No!" Araceli hollered as the small group left, turning to Darious she asked, "Who was that?!" Then realizing that Acheron may need their help, she said "Nevermind no time for that now, we should get to Acheron." ((OMG!!! So short.)) |
Dawn the cat rubbed up against his hand and mewed at him. "It's Dawn." Her eyes closed as she curled up in his lap. "And I think at times like this it's okay to pet me." She said as she looked at the sad half transformed were.

Vexous paid no attention to Acheron as she made her way off of Joe. "well then i can already tell there is one live creature in there, but there's something else to, it still feels as though that bastard is still here." she walked towards the entrance of the cave placing her head on the wall lining it she closed her eyes. "i never thought i'd be back here." turning to Vincent she smiled. "but of course we'll end it here for sure."
Entering the cave she moved at a steady pass, her hand along the side of the wall all the time. Her eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness and she soon could see as clear as day. "this place brings bad memories bad and good." walking passed a small puddle she caught her refection in it, touching her purple skin he smiled. "yeah brings back memories alright" sighing she pushed onwards deeper into the cave. Acheron Held on tightly to Alexia. "Lady Alexia....T...Thankyou, i dont seem to have my bearings yet." he told her with a slight blush. "sorry to trouble you." Seeing Vexous enter the cave he's mood hardened. "we should follow them." he told her tho he was still holding onto her rather tightly mainly because his feet couldn't touch the ground. Darious cursed, "Crap, what the hell do we do now?" he asked Araceli. looking out the window he hmmm'd to himself. "i think i have a good idea where there headed, but we'd never catch them." |
Alexia nodded with a small sigh as she let him down onto the ground and retracted her wings to the point that they were only visible from behind her. She stayed by Acheron in case he fell again and smiled. "Ok we can go but please don't fall again." She requested again her over protectivity showing.

Dharmar's ears perked up when he thought he heard. . .voices? No, no that couldn't be right. Nothing like humans came here anymore. This place had been abandoned. Perhaps his ears were playing tricks on him. He ignored his ears and inwards warnings and pushed more of his scent out hoping the tasty creature would come soon to stop his hunger.

He followed Vexous off of Josephine's back, a strange yet intoxicating scent wafted out of the cave mouth. Inhaling deeply his eyes closing for a few second she looked back to Vexous who seemed to be reminiscing about her past and how they would end things. He returned the smile before beginning to follow her inside, the smell slightly stronger now. "What is that smell?" He asked looking to Vexous before returning his icy gaze back on to the darkness beyond.
She shrugged not sure what to say. "Well we have to try." She said beginning to run back down the stairwell. "Are you sure there is no way we can make it to them?" She called over her shoulder at Darious. |
Vexous smiled as she thought she heard movement, but looking to her right all she could see was rats, frowning she shook her head and took another step forward. "there is probably still alot o experiments down here, i doubt anyone cleaned this place up after he died." she told Vincent.
only to find that the small piece of dirt she stood on seemed to sink into the ground alittle. "oh crap!" she let out as the floor around her opened up instantly into a large pit and pointing upwards from the ground were large spikes. "how original!" she said aloud as he began to fall, but before she hit the bottom she shifted to her shadow form that allowed her to pass through objects, the spikes had no chance against her, "but what of the others?" she wondered aloud as she looked up towards where she'd fallen. Acheron let out a nervous laugh as he began walking inside the cave, catching up to Vexous he watched her as she stopped and cursed, then the floor gave way and he let out a yelp as he tried to keep his balance of the edge of the pit. "wahhhhh haha" Darious followed closely behind her. "not unless there's someone in the castle who could fliy us there" |
Alexia saw Acheron teater as she instantly got wings and flew before she fell into the pit. She started to go towards Acheron to save him but hesitated as she saw that others were going to fall too. She was caught between what to do and stopped hoping she wouldn't have to choose. She just looked blank and thought she heard the voices of her mind but didn't listen to them knowing they were he concience telling her the many things that she had to do.

Dhaymar heard one of his traps go and licked his lips. His excitement was short lived though when this time he definitely heard voices. He looked around and panicked. His hidy hole had one way in and out. He would have to try and run past who ever was there. He bunched himself up and took off as fast he could dodging all his traps.
He saw the people and scooted to the side farther away from them and bolted at a dead run. ((remember his scent is out there and pretty strong too since he has been pushing it out. . . just so ya know. . . it's one of his powahs)) |
"Hmmm, then I'm sure we'll need to be on our guard then." He answered being careful as to where he would step.
As Vexous triggered the pit trap Vincent quickly grabbed Josephine now shifted back to her more human esque chimera form around the waist, and swiftly fled for the other side. He made it to solid ground with the chimera in time thankful for his Vampiric abilities that he could move quick enough to avoid being impaled. Setting Josephine down he peered over his edge of the pit and called down to Vexous, "You alright down there my lady?" He could see she had shifted to a new form, something more untangible and was again more thankful that she had her own talents as a vampire. "Well you look alright, but are you stuck?" He asked looking at the pit's edges checking for a way to get her back up to the level he was on. Looking to Josephine he said, "Maybe we can have Josephine come get you? Put those bat wings to use eh?" Araceli huffed at the thought, there was no one in the castle that she knew of that could help them out. "We're stuck then." She said softly, bringing her pace to a walk then stopping finally. |
Vexous watched as the creature ran passed them. "i've seem him before, i think it's an experiment." she said aloud. still in her shadow form she scaled the wall up towards the ledge where Vincent was. "yeah i'm all good, but there's are all new, the traps that i remember were farther in then this. she frowned again thinking about the figure she'd seen.
"in still form i'm all good and usually cant be touched by anything that isn't living" "do you think we should investigate that being?" she asked Vincent as she looked in the direction it had ran. shifting back to her normal form she sighed, she was paler now changing form always took it's toll on her, but not usually this bad. i really do need to feed. she thought to herself. Acheron fell hard, he was heading for the spikes when he decided he had to do it, placing his hands in front of him he summoned his powers and pushed a mass amount of air out of his hands, the action slowed his fall but he couldn't keep it up for long. He managed to slow himself enough to land without killing himself on the spikes. feeling a warm liquid run down his arm he looked at it and realised it was blood, his left arm had a large spike sticking right through it. next came the pain gritting his teeth he bit bad the scream he wanted to let out. the smell of blood spread thickly through out the cave. |
Dhaymar hit the cave entrance without being stopped luckily. He was more frightened of humanoid creatures than of sharp clawed animals. He remembered everything his former Master had done to him. He shivered as he kept running. He was scared and unsure of where to go. He hadn't left the caves in so long that everywhere was new and uncertain to him. Still it was better out here than in there with those unknown beings.

Smelling the blood Alexie shot down her eyes red. She hadn't had blood in forever andit was almost too much. She landed next to Acheron her wings still showing. "Mr. Acheron what happened please tell me you can heal quickly." She said leaving out a reminder that she was part vampire. She didn't know what to do but she helped his arm get off of the spike and lifted him flying him to the top and setting him down on the other side. She flew back down to the bottom to get the others who had fallen.

Acheron sat at the top of the pit holding his arm in his hands, the blood flowed like nothing else down his arm and soon soaked his clothes. "i dont heal all that fast not like Vampires, but the wound should stop bleeding in a couple of hours....hopefully" he told her as he thanked her to getting him.
Vexous was to curious to like the experiment go, "he could help us get around all the traps that is if he's been living here." she thought aloud, without thinking much about it she took off running after him, his trail led her outside of the cave and she couldn't quite tell where he was. reaching out with her mind she hoped the creature be able to hear her thoughts. "Creature where are you, i will not harm you, i seek your guide us though the cave....... i was created there as well, but i got away, i fear someone is using the wizards research for wealth and fame, will you help me put a stop to it all?" |
Dhaymar froze in fear as foreign thoughts bleed into his mind. Master could do such things too. Did this mean this creature was going to harm him like his last Master. He did not trust the voice and threw back, "You lie. . you are like him . . can mind talk. . you wish to hurt me too." He found a nice rock and hide behind it.

"i am a vampire a creature that can..'mind talk' as you call it, the one you speak of tainted me as well, i am a vampire but dragon blood runs through my veins, i will NEVER forgive him for what he has done to me! we are allies i have brought that beast's son here to finish him off to leave the past behind." Vexous paused of a moment, "Forgive me i got a little carried away, will you meet with me?" she asked. if at her full strength she would have been able to find him easily but due to her weakness to invited him to meet her instead.
her body straining, she sat down on a near by rock looking towards the direction she thought he was in, she would need blood and soon. |
He was not trusting of her but felt pain if she really had been an experiment like himself. He was fearful though at the mention of his Master having a son. . .weren't children often like their parents? He said in reply, "You will not hurt me? I will talk but I don't want to meet Master's son. He will hurt me."

Vexous laughed. "Please Acheron wouldn't even hurt a fly...... although he has many times tried to seal me away, well the other me, you see i went a little crazy in 'Masters' care and he cast a spell on me to seal away my hateful and more Vampiric side, and now that i'll fully awake his son is trying to redo the dirty work." she said aloud shaking her head she sighed.
"i promise you, i will not hurt you, you dont have to meet his son ether, i'd just like to talk with you, if that's okay? if you would like proof my number was 7" she sat with her eyes on her wrist where a faded scar of the number seven lay burned into her skin. |
Dhaymar poked his head above the rock he was hiding behind and looked at her. He thought spoke again not thinking, "I'm number 27." He was a bit afraid but more curious to meet another one like him. Even when Master was alive he had not been able to be around the others. He stepped closer but not close enough to be in grabbing distance. He looked at her quizzically. She looked different from him but then again so did Master.

Vexous was a little shocked by what he looked like, but didn't let it show, he was also quiet handsome in his own way. "you must have come after me then." she smiled at him.
She didn't make any sudden movements but only tilted her head towards him. "what's you name? have you been living here since he died?" she asked trying to make him feel alittle more comfortable. She looked towards the cave, no had seemed to follow her out, yet anyway. |
