"My legs a little better. I should be able to walk if I use sword as a cane."

that's a form of godmoding star if the character is a slow healer, saying they're healed may not always work)

Kai nodded and looked over at Satoshi "that's not good to do" she mumbled "i'll be your crutch until you're healed.

(remember when he tried to heal kai but her wrist was still broken? that's because she's a slow healer. Sometimes the character just has to heal on their own :3)

Kai nodded and helped him limp off in the direction the cool mountain water was "you coming?" she turned back to her brother with the sweetest of smiles

Nick was pacing suddenly a bit agitated. "No..no go on I'll catch up later." he murmered and started to pace again head down. the crystal in his breast bone flared brighter, but the shirt he had over it would dull the light out as he waited for her and their new.. companion to continue to the lake. once they did that his form blurred into a large panther and it took off through the forest trees, he wasn't to sure HOW but The man after him had strengthened the call ether that or he was closer and both options where BAD things.

When they got to the lake Satoshi went in fully clothed and the water around him started to freeze.

Kai laughed slightly tilting her head at him, he was an astonishing sight she couldnt help but admire. She knew he didnt want a woman companion by his side, but of course they may not stop her. Who knows.

Kai felt Nick's appearance streaking away from her, this caused her left eye to flare with pain, she let out an shrieking cry and collasped knowing she may never see him again "stay here" she called out to Satoshi and ran to follow nick, then she saw it, ray greeting him with open arms. She ran faster than she ever had in her life, leapt into the air and attacked ray, claws sharpening in an instant, she slashed the skin on his neck, unable to decapitate him right away.

Nick snarled and twisted lunging to slamn into Kai's side hard. even as the human side screamed NO.

Satoshi couldn't ask what was wrong quick enough before she was gone and he still couldn't move his legs well enough to find out on his own.

"Those blasted executioners broke my legs before I got here."

Kai paused feeling as pain rushed over her, she let out another cry reeling away from him, she of course landed on her feet, but this time, something was yanked into her hand, it was a blade, one of familiarity, she pointed it at ray with trembling hands then at nick, tears streamed down her face while she rushed his master again, the sword paused just inches from his skin, she pushed it forward and through his air way, the man gurgled a few times before falling to his back, kai let out another cry removed the blade which of course was sent back from where it came, she gripped her eye and shattered ribs.

Kai slowly walked away from the murder scene, she walked back to satoshi and collapsed at the mouth of the water, whe waves rolled over her very few times, when they did they pushed her head and shoulders making her look as if she were having another episode, the pain was just too much for her to bear so she laid there unconcious and unwilling to wake.

Satoshi saw her laying there. He summoned a small ice wall so the waves wouldn't hit her and he limped his way over to her to see what had happened.

while unconcious she cried mumbling nick's name in a broken hearted fashion hopeing he is alive and ray is dead, she twitched before her eyes opened, this time, she was completely blind unable to see where she was, both eyes were a faded gold this would of course worry anyone.. "who's there?" she asked feeling the air around her

Shin was awakened by all the yelling and leaped from a tree near Nick, taking in the scene at a glance. There was no way to restrain someone like Nick, but she had to try while Satoshi dealt with Kai. The foliage around her bent to her will, reaching for Nick.

Satoshi grabbed her hand.

"It's me, Satoshi, what happened to you?"

"the sword.. the sword" she blushed feeling a hand slip around hers, she smiled while tears ran down her face "is he alright?" she cried her head bending down with hair falling over her face she trembled "my ribs are broken.. and.. and i think the i used Hogarth's sword.. i.. cant see anything" while she spoke she blinked feeling as her pain lessened, her sight returned with the exception of her left eye.

Satoshi looked at the wound and immediately noticed that she had two broken ribs. He did what little he could to fix them up.

"I'm sorry, but I don't that much when it comes to fixing injuries."

she winced crying softly and looking up at him with the look of distress "it's okay.. thank you"

Nick snarled as the foliage grabbed at him, he twisted and squirmed, tail lashing as he fought to reach his owner. as much as the human side wanted the man dead the rest of him was bound to him on his chest a six pointed star was formed in white fur..right over wher eon a human the crystal was. when ray drew his last breath nicks body arched the fur standing on end as he roared his pain and the spell 'shifted' to something far off.. his body collapsed as it returned to human form.

Shin instantly released the vines and ran to his side, pushing him to his back and resting her ear on his chest to insure he was still breathing and his heart was still beating.

Nicks heart was beating at a break neck pace as he laid there, his body fighting to catch up with all that had happened.*
