Nicks eye's locked on the male and he froze, his body shuddering as e crouched low to the ground a low even snarl leaving his throat. gold eye's locked on the male as his tail lashed and slowly he forced himself to stand up and got set to rip the males head off.

kai was worried that this man would have been given ownership over her brother, she bit her lower lip chewing it while the man stared down at nick then brushed his shirt aside to reveal a jewel with uncanny similarity to Nick's. This sent chills down her back,

Nick froze, blinked and tipped his head to the side his snarl lowering to a near sub level growl. he shifted Becoming human, though it hurt like hell fire to do so. Kneeling he glared at the man. "And who enslaved you that you bare that.. THING on you?" he asked in a low voice.

the man they suspected to be ray's sibling was in fact wrong, the brother had already been killed "your master" he growled "i've been comanded to retrieve you, so, obey" he growled forcing a commanding voice upon him, when kai heard this she approached the other slave brandishing Satoshi's sword while doing so, unfortunately her body rejected it and yearned for Hogarth's she let out an exhasporated breath before collapsing gripping her stomach, something was wrong, very wrong "nick run!" she gasped

Nick stared at the man. "Why do you obey someone who hurts you forced his will on you.." he spat back fighting the command and the need to shift back to his feline form. no not this time. "And my MASTER is dead.." he hissed. when he heard Kai's voice he twisted and saw her collapse. his eye's widened and he moved towards her. something was wrong.. of course..surprise flared across his face when he touched her and he felt the kick of life..in her stomach. 'Ohh for Pete's sake..' he thought in exasperation. he dragged her to her feet. and whit a shove of magic sent her through the ground..and into Hogarth's room. even as he faced those attacking him a low snarl rumbling from his throat. Ray was dead. he'd watched them remove his head. so these two bore NO control over him.*

The man growled then laughed watching while kai was sent falling into the ground, she cried letting out a soft sigh when she landed on her back on his bed, bouncing not once but two times and landed on the floor. She'd never been educated what happened when someone has sex, she only knew what it did to her and that she liked it.

The man stepped closer to nick pressing a hand over the gemstone "i have to darling, it's the only way to survival"

that's when kai clawed her way out of the earth and stood holding hogarth's blade, holding it to the man's throat "back off" he growled, the man cried tears streaming down his face, she quickly slashed at his skin, he winced and watched at the gemstone fall to the ground, she lowered her weapon and smiled "now, you're free."

she turned to nick with a shy smile "next time no sending me into the ground like that.. that was scarey.."

Nick dragged the man behind him and away from the female. "Yeah.. well it wasn't like I wanted a pregnant women fighting and perhaps getting Killed." he muttered in irritation." then he considered. "If your not Ray's brother.. where is he..?"

"someone killed him" the man sighed, kai looked down at her stomach and blinked blushing deeply "pregnant?" she rolled the word around on her tongue before placing the weapon back in Hogarth's hands

The male smiled "my name is Julian" he shivered "you killed him.. ripped his throat out i believe" julian's eyes looked over kai with a dull expression "she doesnt know what Pregnant means.. who doesnt know who that is?" he laughed doubting her intelligence.

Nick smacked him up side the head. "Don't make comments like that again about my sister.." he muttered then turned and studied Kai. "It means you've got a baby inside of you and over the next six months or however long your species carries you'll grow.. then give birth and it hurts like hell."*

kai shrieked "did you put it there? how did it get there? you're jokeing!" she bit her lower lip almost straight through "h-how.. how did it get there?" she cried shakeing thinking that someone had cut her open, placed a child in her then had sewn her back up.

Julian sighed and took the slap with dignity "yes sir" he looked kai over her stomach had already begun to swell, but not noticeably if someone werent looking for it.

Nick sighed. "It comes from sex..probably what you and..well your chosen mate did. mateing?" okay.. this was going to give him a migraine yes..yes it was.. he sat down and put his head in his hands. why him?

"no wa----" she panicked looking down at her protruding abdomen, trembing she shivered then looked over at Julian who'd slipped his arm around Nick's shoulders in an attempt to comfort him "i-i'm going to lay down.." she slowly backed away sitting by the pond-front unable to clear her mind, unable to calm herself, she'd soon be a mother and only at age eighteen. Why? Why? How could this have happened? They only mated once, just once, it went well, but, so soon?

julian let out a soft sigh and stroked Nick's back "just clear your head okay? everything will be alright i promise. No one is coming after you, not anymore"

Nick leaned into his touch. "I doubt she even wonders why I tried protecting you instead of ripping your head off for trying to control me." his tone was dry. "And im as calm as Im going to get.. my sisters pregnant..and her mates who knows where.."

julian smiled "she understands, that's why she's not here. She wants you to be happy, so, why not try?" the boy had a slight lisp and girly demeanor, his head tilted to the side while he comfortingly stroked his shoulders "she'll be okay. Dont worry"

"I'm much happier now that she's not at risk and..happy herself." he stood up shrugging off the comfort. nick wasn't one for self pity.well in small doses.. but those large doses definitely messed with his head. he flicked his eyes to Julian. "How'd they catch you.. one minute you where shoving me out the door giving me a chance at freedom, saying you where behind me then I was here.. and you were gone."

"ray commanded me to stop.." she shuddered "commanded me to come back and i-i had to you know how he is" he bit his lower lip, hands trembling. He stood to his feet wrapping his arms around nick's shoulders "i'm sorry i couldnt have followed you" he sighed thankful he finally was free along with his best friend "when did you get a sister?" he tilted his head

kai unknowningly was rubbing her stomach feeling small movements from it, she of course had no idea how or why she was. All she knew was that she was scared, that hogarth had better wake up, they needed to talk and desperately. Last night was of course one of the best nights of her life, but how could something like this happen so quickly? She wasnt a week in and already showing minimal signs? she was confused.

Nick looked up and chuckled. "I adopted her she's.. been taking care of me.. or trying. she got that damn collar off my throat so I had access to my magic.. and I stick by her cause.. well.. people tend to pick on her. because she's different and we just.. sorta became family."

julian smiled picking at his collar as well, he had similar markings to nick, though not nearly as many "she's different?" he looked over at her noticing she had feline ears and a tail "i've never seen anything like that" he giggled "you two do seem very closse. I'm happy for you"

"i can hear you you know" she giggled looking over at them her hand playing with the small divit of her belly button.

Nick reached up and sending his magic slamning into the collar begain to rust it. aging the metal and leather so fast it crumbled from the other's throat. "There.."*

When Satoshi saw that the fight was over he went to retrieve his blade, which he found laying on the ground a few feet away from the sheath.

Kai gasped in unison with Julian, he blushed again before looking down at his neck in astonishment "i didnt know you you could do that" he was obviously amazed "thank you" he lightly kissed one of nick's cheeks.

kai looked over at him and at his sword then down at her hand "sorry about that satoshi" she murmured "i guess my body rejected it" she sighed holding her hands back over her stomach which appeared to be flat, but to her, it was huge.

"I couldn't with that collar on my throat it made it hard for me to tap into my own magic.. and blocked a lot of my gifts but with it off I CAN affect other such things. if it deals with earth I can affect it.."

he smiled feeling the smooth skin that was under the collar, this caused kai to giggled while she looked back at satoshi who seemed to be ignoring her.

Julian was in an obvious haze unable to think clearly, to function properly, he couldnt believe he was finally free.

Nick made julian sit down. "Breath.." he muttered rubbing his friends back. figured he'd get the panicky one.

When Satoshi got his blade back in it's sheath he knew he had to clean. When he thought of the word 'clean' he looked at himself and saw that his clothes were covered in dirt and blood. So he wondered of to a part of the lake that no one was at and stripped to his underwear so he could begin cleaning all of his stuff.
