@TaiyoTsuki: Wow

Yep, it's a fun program. Instead of playing a game every day like you do in PE, we do something called PT on fridays only. PT is like five days of PE all crammed into one class period, and then put on steriods. We play games like flickerball (basketball with a football), ultimate frisbee, ultimate soccer--we use three or four balls instead of just one!--and a game our SgtMaj thought up; Chaos. Chaos is combination of ultimate frisbee and ultimate soccer put together--trust me, when you see us playing the game, it earned its name well!

@TaiyoTsuki: Wow

Archery? Awesome! I took it at a camp once. I'd have liked to taken it again though.

.Jazzed 08-13-2009 11:03 PM

Wow. US schools are so different from up here >.<

demon_girl 08-13-2009 11:03 PM

@fairywaif: Hee hee, yeah that's probably how I would describe it...interesting, lol. It was semi-chewy and reminded me a bit of gelatinous noodles.

Although, I've tried octopus, squid and oysters before, so it wasn't as strange as I thought it would be!

Cassidy Rose 08-13-2009 11:06 PM

Archery would be fun to do for PE

demon_girl 08-13-2009 11:07 PM

Oh, btw, does anyone know the best shop to look in for all of the Egyptian clothing / accessories?

Oleaceae 08-13-2009 11:08 PM

kisaki & katt, XD *tries to hold back funny talk about sparkling vampire stuff* XD

We HAD to dress out in shorts, so I rarely did it. I even told him that I didn't feel comfortable at all wearing them, but he didn't care. At the same time, I can understand how he couldn't make an exception for one person, but then, we shouldn't have been forced to wear only shorts. They could have allowed sweat pants. Dressing out was like 50% of the grade.

I actually ate fried froglegs once when I was a kid. Tasted like chicken, only more rubbery.

Oleaceae 08-13-2009 11:15 PM

Cassidy Rose 08-13-2009 11:15 PM

Kisaki, ^w^

Infinitys, yeah i don't get why some schools won't let you wear like sweat pants or something like that instead of just shorts. sometimes if we wore sweat pants they made us wear the shorts too under it

I could have dealt with wearing shorts underneath. I was just so incredibly shy about my legs that I would rather have failed then show them. I also was just as shy about changing clothes in front of anyone. I did dress out some, but that was usually when there weren't a lot of people in the locker room or when I could slip off out of sight to change. I certainly didn't go out of my way to do it though. And I really sucked at playing any sport. I did like volleyball, but I was horrible at that, too, so I only attempted it a few times. I guess even though Coach couldn't/wouldn't change the rules on dressing out that he must have had some understanding-he passed me with a D so I wouldn't have to come back and he wouldn't have to deal with me the next year :):!

Cassidy Rose 08-13-2009 11:23 PM

I don't think I have really had any weird type of foods

Trust me, it is. For a while in my freshman and sophomore years we could play dodgeball, until the school banned it. One time in my freshman, our XO (executive officer--second in command of our unit) at the time apparently had a study hall during fifth hour, which is the hour I was in. We were playing dodgeball, and he got hit in the nuts! I think I was the only girl to cringe...:gonk:

Prince Tenya 08-13-2009 11:26 PM

We could dress out in both pants or shorts and one year i took swimming which was great! I was really fat back then so i would hide in a corner to change since i was always made fun of D=
southern cali kids HATE fat people D=
they where so mean to me

Hmmm. I guess maybe in some remote locations it could go over quite well.

I know-one of those rare items that would tend to bring out the gag reflex in all of us. Hey, it was a crazy brother-in-law that made us eat them.

Now, I live in an area where people have, can, and still do eat things such as possum and squirrel. Not me, of course. And Bambi meat-ugh!

Lol. It's common food down here. I just look over it.

@Infinitys Echo: Deer meat is good. When cooked right.
