@Evanrai Yeah, really. Other wise you'd be in some trouble.
also @Evanrai I've drank coffee since I was 14 (so, sevenish years?) so my teeth are permanently stained.

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:44 AM

*is totally not from the south* I wasn't aware peach tea was a southern thing.

I don't usually drink much tea or coffee... except the bottled white tea which was sold all over my campus. Drank that stuff all the time. Just recently I've been on a peach/mango/lemon iced tea kick.

[Oz] 08-11-2009 02:46 AM

@Evanrai; We shall both be on the hunt for some good reading. ^^
@Jeannesha; Good luck -sends love-

Idelisa 08-11-2009 02:47 AM

@Astrelle I've always assumed it was. I known when I've left the South, I've not been able to get a decent glass of sweet tea anywhere, because northerners aren't fans of sugar or something.

Maybe we just don't like it as sweet? I have a horrible sweet tooth... although if my tea or coffee is TOO sweat I think it tastes funny.

Evanrai 08-11-2009 02:50 AM

@Jeannesha: I've only gotten the second item, I don't like the first so I'm just going to save stars and get the items I want, then maybe get the others at the end.
@idelisa ; coffee does nothing for me if I'm very tired. Or at all, which sucks, but I like the smell ^^.

@[Oz] : I have the second Jungle Book to finish off them I'm going through George Orwell before returning to Robert Jordan and his Wheel Of Time series. What do you read?

Idelisa 08-11-2009 02:52 AM

@Astrelle I dunno. Maybe that's it. My sweet tea's gotta be almost of the syrup consistency.

@Evanrai If I drink coffee past 4:30 pm, I'm up all night. Which works great when I've got papers to write, but terrible during the summer.

Jeannesha 08-11-2009 02:53 AM

I love peach ice tea. But I always get the unsweetened tea.
When you get sweet tea, it's WAY too sweet. I prefer Sweet N'Low.

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:55 AM

Idelisa - Probably. o_o That sounds pretty sugary. ...actually I think I understand a little now... because if that's what you like... what I'd consider sweet is nothing.

Concerning coffee - coffee does terrible things to me. I go slightly insane... too much energy... for too long. But like Idelisa it's great for cramming in work. (like that art project that just won't finish)

<33333 Evanrai -huggles and snuggles-

[Oz] 08-11-2009 02:56 AM

@Evanrai; I haven't read lately [shame on me] But I was reading King Arthur and some books by Anna Rice.

Idelisa 08-11-2009 02:56 AM

@Jeannesha The tea shop I worked at didn't offer unsweetened peach tea, but it wasn't tootoo sweet. And it came with a slice of peach in the glass.

@Astrelle Yeah, that's why you'll hear Southerners complain about the tea not being sweet enough. I went to visit my grandmother in Virginia, and she kept saying that she was making the tea too sweet, and I could not figure out what she meant, because to me, it wasn't enough.

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:56 AM

Jeannesha - =O I can't have that stuff. Artifical sweeteners just don't taste good to me. Especially Splenda.

I hate Splenda.

It was in my yogurt once.

I got angry. RAR

Evanrai 08-11-2009 02:58 AM

0.o I don't like overly sweet things, I'm more or a spicy foods person.

*<33 snuggles iFungi*

@ [Oz]: Anna Rice sounds familiar...

iFungi 08-11-2009 03:00 AM

-cuddles Evanrai- I <3 Affection

vulpi4 08-11-2009 03:01 AM

hihi

Astrelle 08-11-2009 03:01 AM

Evanrai - XD I can't do spicy foods. I die. My brothers on the other hand love spicy. ...getting salsa for chips is never easy.

Idelisa - o_0 *considers Virginia south*

Jeannesha 08-11-2009 03:03 AM

I'm in Texas, but Texas isn't really "the south".
When I lived in North Carolina, we had to be careful to specify what type of tea, because they always had sweet tea.

I know that some people can't use artificial sweetner. I love it.
To me, cokes and other things that aren't diet are way way too syrupy sweet.

Idelisa 08-11-2009 03:03 AM

@Astrelle I do too, but I guess it's too close to the north. I dunno.

@Jeannesha Texas is too the South! .... and it's own country too!

Kierys 08-11-2009 03:06 AM

I've returned! Sorry for my disappearance. The pool called.

iFungi 08-11-2009 03:09 AM

<333

vulpi4 08-11-2009 03:09 AM

@kierys: lucky i have to go to school in the morning! it sucks.

Evanrai 08-11-2009 03:10 AM

@Vulpi4: Hello!

@ iFingi: i <3 Affection too XD

I've never been anywhere "South" except for Cuba or the Dominican on vacation. i don't mind heat but I hate humidity (I'm either wet or I'm not, dammit!...<.< that sounds dirty for some reason. Put it in a different way, i like hot showers but not sweating rivers...)

...Pool? Take me too!

Astrelle 08-11-2009 03:10 AM

Idelisa - Oh okay. XD I thought I was just being too much of a northerner...

Jeannesha - ^^; Well... texas IS pretty south as far as states go... and as long as you actually like the taste of the diet stuff. I always thought it tasted nasty and wondered why people would drink them... 'cause if you're on a diet drinking soda doesn't seem to make sense... I guess I never imagined that people might actually enjoy the taste. *feels dumb*

Idelisa 08-11-2009 03:11 AM
