Ughhh.

My cat is kind of really frustrating me right now. She wants alllll of my attention and I just want to spend a little time on the internet, but she's not supposed be on the desk, so I'm having difficulty and I just miss my laptop so I could just cuddle her on the couch and still be on the internet.

I kind of understand the whole cat being a pain in the butt. Mog won't stop getting himself in trouble. He's about ready to get squirted with the water bottle if he doesn't behave. He was knocking stuff over and climbing on top of my desk here, knocking stuff off. I closed the bedroom door and he sat in front of it crying and trying to push his paws through the bottom of the door. I don't understand his problem today!

Indeed it is Blahrrgh it was a picture of a squid but then I used my terrible drawing skills and MS paint to make it incrediably scary.

Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients

Cake

175g plain flour
3 eggs
200g sugar
150ml sunflower oil
65g apple puree
225g grated carrots
50g walnuts, roughly chopped
1 tsp each: bicarb of soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, mixed spice

Icing

25g butter (MUST be real butter, margarine does not work! (it goes all sloppy))
50g cream cheese
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
65g icing sugar

Instructions

Cake

1. Sift the flour, bicarb, baking powder, salt and spices into a large bowl
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together
3. Pour in the oil in a steady stream while whisking, like making mayonnaise, then add the apple puree
4. Pour the mixture into the well in the middle of the flour and stir
5. Stir in the carrots and the walnuts and transfer the mixture into a loaf tin
6. Bake for 55 minutes at 180 degrees C until browned. Run a blade around the edges, then leave to cool before turning out.

Icing

7. Work the butter and cream cheese together until smooth
8. Mix in the other ingredients and blend in a food processor
9. Cover in clingfilm and spread on the cake right before serving :'3
