I know how you feel Red.

Sally Sinema 08-08-2009 08:39 PM

Speaking of Dancing Izumi, every one I see lately is either song or feast. Makes me feel a bit sad for the Goddess of Dance.

Wendy Darling 08-08-2009 08:40 PM

Not much left to talk about? o_o;

Well, on the subject of feast and food, got any favorite fruits, Abel?

Just picked up some apples and miniature watermelons from the store myself, actually.

Izumi 08-08-2009 08:41 PM

What can I say for a lady who tip toes around with a chicken on her head? :XD

I'd need to have a few drinks and feast first to loosen me up for some song, and you won't see me on the dance floor until late into the night.

Cain 08-08-2009 08:42 PM

I'd certainly like to, aoi midori, but magical items are hard to come by in large quantities.

I'll be sure to leave when that time comes, Izumi. *laughs* I'm content in my "lonely corner" for now.

Sally Sinema 08-08-2009 08:42 PM

Miniature watermelons? O.O I've never seen such a thing. Sounds intriguing!
I do wonder why humans feel the urge to miniaturize so many things though.

Cain 08-08-2009 09:17 PM

I like fruit in general, but I don't have a favorite per se, Wendy Darling.

Knitted Doll 08-08-2009 09:21 PM

Downtime is delicious :'D

Izumi 08-08-2009 09:21 PM

Oh my goodness. I got knocked flat on my butt and was unable to access the forum. I felt a pang of Mene-withdrawal. Noo.

Well perhaps this is the start of the festival!! *cheer* :squee:

And Abel, we got to get you to lighten up! *blows a kiss*

Divacita 08-08-2009 09:22 PM

Here is something that I think the Goddess & you all might like to try.:)

Quote:

Alfredo Tortellini

1 (8 oz) pkg cheese tortellini
1 cup ham, diced
(8 oz) cream cheese
1 pkg dry Italian dressing
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
Add tortellini to a large pot of boiling salted water and let cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a skillet to medium heat. Add the cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing, and milk and stir until smooth. Once smooth, add in ham and stir to coat. After the tortellini finishes

the recipes must be posted in quotes <3

Ferra 08-08-2009 09:24 PM

I added quotes for you, Divacita. :)

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 08-08-2009 09:25 PM

it looks delicious though...
(steals recipe)

Wendy Darling 08-08-2009 09:25 PM

Whew, what a nasty jar in the server. @[email protected]

@Abel: Good to know you like it; I don't really have a favorite myself, but I'm a sucker for any sort of berry.

@aoi: Yeah, they exist solely for personal consumption. :]

Speaking of berries, I get to indulge in my favorite triple berry smoothies back in my university's town within the week. Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries all blended together with vanilla yogurt. Totally delicious.

Izumi 08-08-2009 09:25 PM

I tried to look at Solia during my downtime (I'm extremely bored right now, and not feeling like doing much more work) but it just felt blasphemous! *shudder* I haven't seen a site that has a nicer layout and nicer pixel work. That wheel thing sounds fun though...

Rad Lionheart 08-08-2009 09:27 PM

I thought I broke Menewsha. :C

Yes. Yes, you did. You should be ashamed.

Divacita 08-08-2009 09:36 PM

OOps, sorry about that. I am still new but I will remember that next time I post a recipe.:)

Sally Sinema 08-08-2009 09:39 PM

I'm going to go forage for lunch, have a lovely day everyone and don't start the feast with out me ;)

Nice talking with you Abel.

Rad Lionheart 08-08-2009 09:44 PM

I am ashamed, I accidentally the whole thing. D;

linapoo 08-08-2009 09:46 PM

Whoop. =) Hi everyone. The downtime made me excited yet sad all at the same time. XD

sadrain 08-08-2009 09:47 PM

And so I have returned. XD

Hmm, what did I want to say? I am sure I had something. Ahh, yes. XD

I wanted to be Dance at first but then I remembered she is very sunny and such and went all "nuuu!" and joined Song because I love moon and night more than any other time of day. x3 *silly reason indeed*

I love grapes and cherries and all sorts of berries and apples and pears... and I think that beside pomegranad (SP? D8 ), there are only few fuirts and berries I really really don't like. XD I don't get to each them much, though.

Divacita 08-08-2009 10:09 PM

Mangoes are my most favorite fruit. I love the sweetness of them & also I love to eat the green ones as well with a little salt & chili powder or soy sauce.:P

Rui-kun 08-08-2009 10:10 PM

Just felt like sharing this.
Quote:

Angel food cake
1&1/3 cups flour
1&1/4 cups sugar
1&1/2 tsp salt
1&1/2 tsp baking powder
12 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cups hot water
1 table lemon rind
Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Add boiling water gradually and continue beating for 5 minutes. Fold lemon rind and sugar gradually. Shift flour, baking powder and salt together twice. Fold into beaten yolks. Pour batter into ungreased tube pan which has wax paper fitted in the bottom. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. Cool on a rack.
Hopefully that makes sense, it was my grandma`s recipe.

Suona 08-08-2009 10:10 PM

I feel bad for Abel
You ladies wont leave the poor guy alone ;P

And I was thinking the event might start because the site went down for a little, but it doesn't look like it is just yet
