skeith knew that that wasn't the end of it but he felt that paige didn't have to say anymore. "well if we're all telling our stories, might as well say mine. i was born a hybrid to my parents who were both vampires. i lived my life happily until i was with the apperance of 20 in human years. which was when the hunters killed my parents and beloved. i've lived since that day serching for the hunters that killed them, so i started this war in hopes of trying to lure them out. now that i've killed them, i have no idea what to do next."

"well i dont feel comfortable telling my story" Daphne said as she looked at her friends "i dont know what the humans will do if we stop attacking they may agree to end the war or they may try to whip us out" she stopped for a moment "i just hope there will be no more blood shead fo atleast the rest or the week"

"I won't get sick of you Paige, I promise. After what I've done, I will stand by you to help whenever I can." Kaer'lic looked up at the sky with Paige.

"well look who became romeo." skeith chuckled.

Daphne giggled at the remark "aww cute" she joked as she stood up and slightly winced at the pain in her ankle but ignored it

"Hey, Iwon't deny that I like her, but what I am offering is strictly friendship" He responded.

"sure it is." skeith chuckled bafore looking at daphne and helping her sit back down. he phased through the ground into the apartment and grabbed an ice pack, and then came back. "here, you need this for your ankle."

"Is it wrong for a Dark Elf to like a vampire woman? Racist." He stated flatly.

"thank you" Daphne said as she took the ice pack and placed it on her ankle "i just sprained this when me and Paige were running through the forest i tripped over a tree root" Daphne explained she she stayed sitting down "i will be fine tomorrow" she reashered Skieth

Paige looked at daphne, then back to the sky.

"yea when i tripped i hurt myself" Daphne looked at Paige "looks like we are all a little battered and bruised" she said as she looked at the sky "you know i have seen these stars so many times but they are still just as beautiful" she rubbed her ankle

Paige sighed and layed back on the roof.

"you okay" Daphne asked tentivly as she moved closer to see if she was okay

"oh yeah im fine" paige looked over at daphne.

"okay" Daphne looked at Paige then back at the sky "we should probablt go inside" Daphne said as she watched the town

she walks than drop on her knees and coughs up blood very bad

"in reply to kaer'lic's statement about me, no i'm not racist. i just wouldn't expect you to turn into romeo and paige into juliet." he heard kiki coughing and turned around. "you've gotta be kidding me." he jumped down to kiki and said "you're supposed to be in the castle. you're gonna kill your self this way." he scooped her up and then turned back to the others. "i gotta take her back to the castle. apparently i can't leave without her trying to come with me, and i can't risk her dying in the process. i'll see everybody later." he rushed towards the castle.

"why are you trying to protect me" as she coughs alot

"okay good bye Skieth bye Kiki" daphne waved as Skieth ran back to the castle with Kiki "Kiki is determined to go out instead of staying in to let her injuries heal isnt she" Daphne questioned

"skeith why are you protecting i don't need to be protected I'm fine"she looks at him

"because, i was raised that way. 'to be anything less of a gentlemen would be insulting to women' at least thats how my old man used to say it. besides i promised her that even after she was gone that i would still be the knight in shining armor she saw me as, even though others see me as a death knight." he grew silent the rest of the run to the castle. he put kiki down in her bed and got the medics. "and don't even think of getting up." he walked out to the kitchen as the medics came in. he sat down at the table with the chef and his wife. the chef asked "whats wrong master skeith?" skeith sighed and said "the events that have been happening lately. tey're killing me." the chef got up and grabbed 3 wine glasses and some wine. "tell us master skeith. you know that we're here for you." skeith chuckled as the chef poured him a glass of wine "thats true, ever since i lost my parents everyone that worked for my parents became like family." the chef looked at skeith and said "we've always been like family, we just got closer to you after your folks died." skeith took a sip of wine and said "good point." he sighed and then said "it's just, everything thats happened lately. i mean i told melrose the story of why i took her in and everything, paige arrived in town and things just went even crazier. they killed victor, kaer'lic's demon killed paige's brother, i deystroyed the demon but damaged kaer'lic severly. to top it all off i've got two people that are wounded in my castle and i'm taking care of them."

she never listens to him she opens a window and jumps down she runs to her house " man guys protecting me that would be bad for me"

skeith took another sip of his wine and then said "i just think that, this war changed me diffrent from what i originally thought." the chef looked at skeith and said "things are constantly changing sir. fate is a cruel but forgiving mistress." skeith chuckled and said "so true."

she walks but her leg is still bleeding she sees the castle where skeith is she doens't want him to know where she is she falls to her knees and coughs up blood bad

Daphne sees Kiki and jumps off the roof "Kiki are you okay" she ran towards her "why didnt you stay at the castle you need rest and while your being stubborn running away you could very well die" she warned "now you need to rest are you going to Skieths castle or my appartment" she asked sternly
