Ahote started out at a slower speed, then slowly acclimated them all to traveling at normal highway speeds, they were at the resteraunt in just a few moments, it was of course his resteraunt. He owned one in almost every city across the US.

When they walked in the environment appeared to be home for Con, and that's the way it should've been, a comfortable environment for any customer no matter what time they were from. He offered him one of the many meals he knew how to cook then pointed to a table fro him to sit at with makawee, she of course wouldnt talk to either of them.

Con retreated to the table and looked around the room. He liked it aside from thr fact that makawee was with him. He ducked under the table to explore.

Makawee laughed and watched while her brother brought out what looked like one of the best olden meals she's ever seen. She bit her lower lip and cocked her head to the side knocking on the table, alerting con that his food was ready

Con sat up and looked over. It was one of the best meals he had seen since his first time jump. He nodded and thanked Ahote the best he could in Latin.

Ahote smiled and nodded saying something resembling 'you're welcome' in Con's own language. When he spoke, it was between bites loving this food more than any normal male would.

Con ate quietly, every so often eyeing Makawee making sure she didn't try something on him. He seemed to like it too.

Ahote looked up as another customer walked in, he ignored her since he knew she would be taken care of accordingly.

makawee on the other hand was fiddling with the hotsauce plotting on how to further confuse the old man.

Con scooted away from the girl and shot her a glare. He decided to fill a spoon with food and fling it at her, food spoon and all.

when the metal smacked against her face she got up, slamming the bottle onto the table and stalked to the back of the resteraunt and to her bedroom for the day. There was no way she'd walk around with food in her hair

Ahote laughed and gave con a thumbs up while giving him an approving grin

Con smiled and finished his food happily now that the girl was gone. When done he just pushed the plate away and set his head down and closed his eyes, suddenly he was in the doorway of the resteraunt, swayed and fell over.

Ahote placed the dishes in the back then ran after con, Helped him up and to a hotel connected to the resteraunt. While escorting the male he smiled to his employees "room 302" he mumbled, the door opened and they were in a luxurious room that may remind Con of home, there were beds of hay, windows and stones every where but with a slight twist, modern technology was hidden very well in the walls and things of this sort.

Con staggered over to a bed and flopped over in it and held his head. He yet again thanked Ahote and looked around the room before closing his eyes.

Ahote nodded then smiled "no need to thank me" he mumbled in con's tongue, he laid down as well blushing a light shade of pink before sleeping. He hadnt used these rooms since a young woman visited him from con's era. This did embarrass him the tiniest bit.

Con was asleep before Ahote was finished talking. That morning he was up early and wandering around the hotel, every so often tugging on a door to see if it would open.

ahote slept in late that morning, he awoke to makawee holding up a notebook full of complaints, he leapt from the bed, rubbed his eyes and ran down the hall thankfully the hotel wasnt that big, only two floors.

Con was in the hall couched by a locked door and pecking on it, the people within were yelling for him to go away. He only mumbled back and pecked the door not understanding them.

Ahote laughed and appologized to the people leading con to another room, the ball room where it looked like the inside of a cave, he smiled and pointed to where he could make tools asking him if he wanted to in his native tongue.

There were also places for him to practice fighting on dummies and other such things from his era, nothing like gameboys or other electronical messes.

Con sat down on a rock. "im fine." He mumbled, worry now occupied his facial expression. He never lived in a cave so he found the setting a bit odd but there was something else he worried about.

Ahote sighed and looked for a different setting, when he finally found one grass spourted from the floor boards, the walls seemed to tint with a sky-like setting and they were in a beautiful open meadow "you're worried" ahote stated while slowly approaching him hopefully able to comfort the traveler.

Con tried to wave him away, he never liked talking about his problems to people who weren't his family and close friends. He moved to sit in the grass that now sprouted from the floorboards. He had never seen nature spawn from nowhere like that.

Ahote had elven magic sewn into his building, thankfully his girlfriend agreed to help him on her days off. While he sat in the grass watching Con with worried eyes his mind wondered over where Lee was, what she was doing and how she was doing. he hardly got to see her anymore and it broke his heart, well, not as much as somepeople would think.

She kept an eye on the building whenever she could and almost always was able to help him with his latest projects. Ahote wouldnt leave Con alone, not completely. he wouldnt speak to him but he would stay in the room while he was thinking.

Con eventually looked over at him. "Have you seen a 6 year old boy about this tall" He held up a hand to try and show how tall he meant. "He has hair a little lighter then mine and dresses simmilar."

"not with you, but to think of it i did see a child about that height a few weeks ago" he sighed and laughed to himself "i tried to help him but he was gone a second later" when he said this Ahote realized that this child was either con's sibling or son.

"Then hes long gone by now.." Con said getting that sad look again. He stood up and paced around a little. "We rarely end up in the same demon world." The way he said it he was obviously implying the modern world to be a hell.

Ahote nodded agreeing with him about his apparent feeling of the modern world "is there a way we can bring him to where you are? like a tether of sorts?" when the native spoke his voice expressed the type of sorrow only a brother would know when imagineing their life without a beloved sibling.
