What do you think - Be Polite

I am leaning more towards cartoony instead of realism. So if we could avoid any comments that say it's not realistic enough that would be great.

even if you want to do cartoons, practice real human anatomy and give yourself a solid base for cartoonish deformations.
these are interesting, i especially like the composition and character design, but it looks like you're trying to hide the fact that you don't really feel comfortable with anatomy with narrow framing and hair.
i'd also suggest relying less on premade gradients and textures when it comes to shading and texturizing object. making everything (almost) from scratch gives much more natural and interesting effects.
i hope i don't sound offensive. english is my second language and sometimes i fail at putting my critique nicely....

I like the coloring - especially in the first one
I like the expressions too
But abulia is right, no matter what you draw, you have to control the anatomy, even if the person is formed like a circle or something
The dragon girl is pretty awesome though

I like them both, truely. But I do agree with the others, I had the same problem until I got a book that helped me.

Keep up the good work.
