The item the star eater gives out is a total surprise...we have to feed him to unlock it. I really hope we all pull together to get it unlocked as I bet it's awesome!

It means you've had so many people perform to you that your avi is kind of bored and letting out a sigh and sweat drop when others try to perform to you, so they get nothing

Oh I think its because too many people tried to perform to you or something like that. I read about it in the Event FAQ
