The high and lows aren't as extreme, but they still feel very extreme in comparison to my friend's emotional fluctuations. But the part that makes it debilitating in some regards is that it happens randomly and can last either very quickly, or for quite some time.
For one example, I was in a manic depression for 3 years, then snapped out of it and was immediately happy again. No meds, no therapy. Just happened. Of course, I also attribute my recent stabilities to my philosophies of "Everything is temporary" and "Live in the present". |
I'm either live in the moment, go with the flow, OR panic for the future.
xD Just curious, do you go to a psychologist person regularly? I'm thinking about going to a shrink later on in life, just to see what happens and what they say. |

I've been seeing therapists and psychologists since I was 5. I'm 24.
Throughout the years, they've had me on varying dosages of Prozac, Zoloft, Depikote and Risperdol. I think I need a change of medicine. Been on the same dosage for 6 years. |

@Minuxe: I'm in it for the lore. I like the story. But to me, it's not addicting. I've gone many months at a time without playing. And even without a job, I can afford $30 every other month. Just gotta save up some bottles and cans. :p

My brother actually bought WarCraftIII years ago, and I kind of stole it from him to play. Haha. @ Minuxe - I wont play WoW, but I love WC3. Its a lot of fun and has silly games. Plus I have made a lot of good friends on there. :) |
I watched my friends play all the Warcraft games. They'd play the RTS games and I'd follow the story and I liked it, but since I'm not competitive, I usually fail at RTS. XD
So when WoW came out, I got hooked into the game via story nearly instantly. Sorry about my hiatus, I was doing things in WoW. ^^; And the quote doesn't offend me. I actually don't mind it at all. |
