Ooh, I like your outfit a lot too!! :D I wish those long gloves didn't have that extra color at the top, because that little touch of blue draws my eye right to it. I love the orange/plum color combo though! I had to buy that shirt because of the color combo. XP

I thought it was really cool that these robes look like saris. We definitely need some more India-inspired items. They have such lavish clothing and jewelry. :D

The only thing in plum for the head I can think of is the hairpin like the one I'm wearing, but in plum. But that would add silver, and you're rocking the gold, sooo yeah, rough!

hehehe. Yeah, orange/plum pwns. :D You need some socks, but I'm not sure which ones would look good... XP Or maybe just some gold anklets instead...


EDIT: Hi Mel! :D I'm doing pretty well today. I'm going to be busy since I have a bunch of stories to edit for work. But that's okay. I like having work to do. :D How're you today?

@mel: Yeah, I work for an association for copy machine dealers. I work on their magazine, plus do a bunch of other stuff. XP It's a fun job, and my coworkers are really cool.

I'd love to have a sari too. And a kimono and obi at that! Cool! Where did you find yours? Have you worn it before? I think I'd probably be afraid to wear something like that if it was vintage. I'd store it or put it up to display it somehow. :D

Yeah, peach is a hard color to incorporate into an avatar. Especially as an accent color, since we don't have that much peach stuff to begin with... :sweat:

Yeah, some more gold accessories would be nice. She does need a bit more bling. I agree. XP

Oh yeah, not quite. :lol: I don't know if I could be a book publisher. It's a whole different ballgame. Plus, I learned AP style in journalism school, so I'd probably be really thrown off if I had to go back to regular writing style. XD

I did edit the last chapter of my stepdad's book the other day, but it's all about a company who went into bankrupcy, so not exactly the most exciting read ever.

@Mel: hehehe. I did journalism all through high school -- worked on my school paper as news editor. So I followed that through in college because I thought magazine editing would be right up my alley. And it is. I'm also happy to do layout too. It's always been fun for me.

Wow, what beautiful kimono!! :D You guys look great in them. Where did you manage to find it? I think it would be SO hard to put it on without help. Tying an obi seems like such a chore to me.

hehehe. AC is pretty anal about what they like. I'm kinda getting tired of the overly cluttered avatar thing that everyone there likes so much. XP I like layering, sure, but sometimes it just gets to be a bit much. :sweat:

No? Ours came out during 4th hour every other week, and it was delivered to classrooms. :D So it was pretty well-known throughout the school. We won awards and stuff too. XP I loved newspaper.
