I liked Spirited Away. More of fantastical adventure than a kiddie show. Ponyo looks so.... I don't know, so much like a morning tv cartoon show for little kids? I'm sure it has a great story, I just can't get past the style.

I've watched all of his movies to date, I think. I got a "complete works of Hayao Miyazaki" DVD collection for like $10 when I was in China. XD Of course it was all bootlegged, which is probably why it was all so cheap.

Yeah, Miyazaki-sensei's style got on my nerves too, at first. But now I like it because it's unique to him, you know?

I don't care that Ponyo's rated G and that I'll probably be among the VERY few "adults" (going into college, but I'm still 17) in the theater without a kid attached--I WANT TO SEE IT.
