I get to go to university, too! I'm scared I'll screw up, lol.
|
@ Minnie Mouse : Oohh, how scary. =O I'm sure you'll do fine though! :> <3<3 And yeah, it's a four-year one. ^^ I'm busy with lots of papers and articles I have to write. D:
Which is why I'm leaving soon. xDD;; |
Man this event hates me.
|
Roachi: How come?
|
Why so, Chi? ;_; <3<3
|
@Roachi: Hii!! Yup it has been a long time, it has been at least a month but probably more since I've really chatted on Mene.
@Rylynne: Thanks for the support! O I see, sooo much writing! ><;; Do you feel "drained" after writing something lengthy? @Lios: O, hope you have fun in university! There are a lot of ways to screw up in university. >< Although anyone that is determined to get their degree won't allow themselves to screw up. |
Because it's hardly granting me stars when i push perform. I might get 1 or 2 successes. *sulks* im a crap performer.
|
@ Minnie Mouse : Yeah, I do. :x Which is why I like taking breaks in the middle. xDD;; Else my brain starts to hurt too much. >.>;;
@ Chi : Aww, you'll get there, Chi! =O <3<3 I remember when I would get nothing from my performances too. xDD;; |
Nahh, I'm much the same, Roachers.
And baaaw, I go to community college. D< |
Oh how I love you: I've had a lot of failures and only a few successes, lol.
Minuxe: Thanks! I'm majoring in music education, although I might double major in computer science.... |
@Rylynne: Ah breaks are healthy for university students! As long as you don't take too many long breaks it really helps you. xD
Ahhh brain pain! I hope I can break my habit of taking lots of long breaks in the middle of assignments. @Crusnik: What's wrong with going to a community college? @Lios: You're welcome. O that is cool! Music education and computer science isn't a combination I would think of. xD My cousin is studying music education so I have a rough idea of what people in that program do. |
haiii Ark how are you? :)
|
Dunno, I just feel so useless. I know the classes are the same, but...I feel like I'm not as privileged as to go to university.
In truth, I can't pay for it, and why would I if I can get the same education from community college? |
@ Minnie Mouse : B-But my breaks are often long... >.>;; Oh well? xDD;; <3<3
|
Sessh: I got lucky and got a boat load of scholarships, along with a loan and Work and Learn, lol. I have several friends who go to community college, and I know several more who are going to. It's nothing bad, lol.
Minuxe: My dad works with computers, and I helped build my current one after I killed the last with a nasty virus. I'm not sure what I'll do in that field exactly, lol. I really want to work in the video game industry, but web design intrigues me as well. I also have a passion for music, hence the music ed major. Conducting will be a huge amount of fun, I'm sure. |
@Crusnik: Aw I see. ><;;
Ya money situations definitely have to dictate where you education is. I am in Canada so we have provincial programs that are made to give everyone the amount of money they need to go to university. @Rylynne: Lol they are? Oh well doesn't matter how long they are as long as you get the task done. xD @Lios: O I see! Building a computer is a great achievement. Web design, or other similarly creative fields are definitely intriguing. O conducting, I can never imagine the feeling of leading an orchestra. |
I lost my scholarship. =X I'm trying to get it back...
But heyyyy. My minor is computers! ^^ Because I could totally make like...websites on my own. I just need to work on my JavaScript. I'm horrid at that stuff...*dies* EDIT: @Minuxe: Oh, definitely. But I'm in the process of trying to raise my GPA. Not an easy task. =X Jeez, wish I had a program to give me some money. Or at least a job, heh. |
Well thanks guys, im sure your right. It's just ... I'm really not feeling this event to be honest.
Hi Lillix! It's been a long time <3 |
@ Minnie Mouse : It's what I keep telling myself. xDD;; <3<3
|
Well guess what, Roachy?
IN SOVIET RUSSIA, EVENT FEELS YOU!!! |
@Crusnik: Making your own websites is something nice since you can just work from home.
Ah I see, hope you can raise it then! I don't understand how a GPA really works at the moment, I'm pretty sure once I start university I will know more about it. That program is definitely a godsend to me. A job would help a lot, but it would be sooo stressful to have a job and try to raise your GPA. @Rylynne: Lolol! Well as long as you are keeping up it's the right thing to tell yourself. @Roachi: Aw I hope the event becomes better for you as time goes on. |
@ Minnie Mouse : True. ^^;;
Anyhows, have to go now~ =O <3<3 Good bye everyone! :'D <3<3 |
@Krats - Whats russia got to do with this? xD
@Nae - Laters! <3 |
Bye Rylynne!! Hope to catch you online tomorrow too. <3333333
|
Absolutely nothing. But someone in Mr. Mayor's thread gave'd me alcohol. :rofl:
@Minuxe: GPA's pretty easy to figure out. You take your grade, and assign it a point value. A=4, B= 3, C=2, D=1, and F=0. Then you add all your grades together and divide them by the number of classes you took. :yes: Anyway, thanks for the luck on that front, I have to get all Bs in my class just to get through! O_O |
