I was wondering if you had any ideas how to get more texture on this image without it getting too dark or looking like a crappy overlay. I love the way your images are textured! (Mostly the watercolor LOL and the way you add details.) Of course I am nowhere near finished, but I would like any help you can give me with ideas/critiques/etc.

I had to get rid of the eyes because they were a little off with the mood/look I wanted, so I'll be working on those after I figure out some other things with the image.
I'm mostly concerned about the fabric/overall image texture. I haven't really done the chest yet or the gold accessories. The pants are not as detailed as I want them to be, XD but umm yeah anyways I will shutupnow.

@colorful: (No need to do the survey, since the other team won yet again. I won't ask for help next time because it is kinda pointless;;)

As for you artwork, it's beautiful! I love the colours. (excuse my Canadian spelling :P)
I actually like the texture as it is, especially with the transparency of the pants. It looks very stylized and the simple shapes/block of colours make the artwork very balanced. Maybe just a little suggestion of the fabirc's creases/folds?
On the other hand, I understand that it can seem a little bit plain, so maybe adding some texture-maybe flower patterns or something like that?- at the dark purple ares would look good- but preserving the transparency of the pants. And adding details on the gold, accentuating the shine + saturation of the orange-yellow colours it would really stand out.
You could draw the image of a flower, copy+paste to make a pattern and then crop to fit in to the areas you want them :3
