Kieryn - Where we live, I'd encourage my kids to learn Spanish. I grew up in an area where it was pretty common to hear Spanish and I always regretted taking French and German. The only time those other languages came in handy was in college. I agree that it's much easier dealing with the little people when the other parent is home!

If you go to the FAQ. there is a link that will take you to the time mene's event will finish. Once that rolls around to the designated time. the event will end its a real time clock thing |

Elmyra - My hubby is in the military and is at the training school right now. He was injured on exercise and they're making him stay down there while he heals. He gets to come home most weekends. As nice as it is to have him come home, he tends to play havoc on my routines I have set up for the kids during the week.
My oldest is learning French because my hubbys family speaks mostly French. Although he is picking up Spanish from consistently watching Dora and Diego. Hubby is also a big anime fan, and he (my son) is starting to pick up some Japanese from that too. He also watches Ni Hao (sp?) Kailan, and is getting a few words here and there in Chinese, but not so much as the other two. ^.^ |
I only have 20 minutes because I have to jump in the shower and get ready for work :(... Work always gets in the way with everything :P

my bf is in the military too and loves anime so he knows more japanese than i do, but he gets games that havent come out here yet so they are still in japanese and expects me to be able to translate the kanji after one semester of japanese >< (i know a whole 10 kanji)

Hazuki - Roli went pretty fast for me the first time around, then they brought out the extra event items. That made me panic. Took me an extra day to get the tickets for that though.
At least I have mules that can help get hubby's set if need be. Aylin - Asking is all good! You can't know if you don't ask right? I'll keep an eye out for one for you! |
