Inflation is terrible over there due to the ease at which most people can get gold. It's even easier if you don't mind spending real cash to buy Evolving items as an investment. Man I wish I'd gotten a couple of spare Falling Stars when they came out.

Gaia is probably the biggest, if only because now they are big enough to gain the interest of sponsors. Plus they got their ZOMG game going. It has changed a lot from the original avatar community thing, so yeah, i don't think any is as big as gaia.

It's a shame though that it's so money driven these days, even if I understand why. I do like the aquariums though, they are fun to play with.

I've made a good income with selling off letters and EIs to people over the past few years I've been on there. Most of my gold however goes towards evolving drow pets..I am aiming on getting some baby drow soon here.
Plus..rping them is what I do more than anything on gaia now.

I dunno. The prices here on the old rare event and contribution items does go up, but it's nowhere near what Gaia is right now. This month's CIs on Gaia are out, and the opening prices in the MP are over 70k. A few years ago, we'd see opening prices for around 30k. Here, the monthly CIs go for 1-2k during the first month and it's been like that for over a year.

Gaia is so big they commonly spend more then they make. Even if they are bringing in the money. I am glade to do my part to help any avatar forum or game I love stay alive. It means I can go back. Though no matter what site I spend money on I hardly get to do it for well lack of money.

Here is new and they are less stressed to try and hold things together. Nice and relaxing well a little more on there part anyway then mine.

I'm aware that the sim plumbob doesn't match, but I was all into The sims 2 when I bought it. I wanted The Sims 3 and was all excited. xD Now, you can't make me touch my sim games. o.o I got bored after trying to do a legacy. xD

yea a few years ago when i played i used to save up every month and was ALWAYS able to buy one of the monthly items. it's gotten sooo bad since the cash shop. i just gave up at that point. it's like when maple story got it's cash shop, stopped playing after that.

Gaia does make enough to keep it running it's true. The only downside is they have so many people it's really hard to please everyone. On the other hand, yeah inflation went up a lot rather than go down as they had hoped, but making gold is becoming increasingly easy.

With the water meat tanks in the booty grab, you could make an investment in actual real money and in a few months you have 5 mil earned without moving a finger for more than just post to the especific threads.

Though I'd wish they'd let us make some gold from some of the 'trash' we get but at least now we can get rid of them instead of having them clutter the inventory. =w=;

I have been on many game sites and RP forums that I just dropped them all. The top places I have left are all that is left >.<. Even then I am not getting bored here and there for lack of things to do or just getting over a big sigh after getting something big on one of the ones I am still at.

The rush of doing something big wears off and then it hurts for a few days >.<.

weh? none of those items were out when I was in gaia, but ban happy sites cause it to at least be literate and the purpose of a forum site, not just spam.
