@Chocolate: Wow. That reminds me of another story. One time in a Geography class, one of my classmates asked "Do lakes run downhill?" and on a different day she asked "Do oceans freeze over?"
Note: This was in 10th grade. XD

a 10th grader asked that O.o wow okay..... no comment XD (giggling)

Okay this one is even better. Another classmate of mine. Both of these instances happened in 12th grade and are very pronounciation specific. (shown with a dash or otherwise noted)
"Why does your 'bind-er' say 'bin-der'?" and she mispronounced leopard as LEO-pard.
