Aw~ Sorry to hear you're so tired. D:
I can only imagine how hard teaching is. @[email protected]
What grade in school do you teach?

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:21 AM

I wanted to be a art teacher but my parents refused to pay for my schooling to do so. It's okay though because I really love psychology.

oHsoDemandinG 08-11-2009 02:22 AM

I want to learn japanese. Sorry I'm late. I wouldn't mind teaching art either.

meilin 08-11-2009 02:26 AM

I failed at learning Japanese. orz

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:31 AM

@ Meilin: I failed at chemistry but luckily I'm very good with foreign languages. It's a passion of mine!

Anna_Crackers 08-11-2009 02:32 AM

I teach workshops for middle school students. Generally 10-13 years old.
I teach 3D animation production. :)

Haven 08-11-2009 02:33 AM

I'm taking Japanese this semester. I wonder if I'll be any good at it. ; 3;

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:34 AM

@Anna: That's so cool. I've never done 3d stuff. I can't even use a computer to color yet. I need a tablet for sure. I'm a traditional media dork. But I'd love to learn how to use the computer to digitally color my work.

@ Haven: Just do your best and my only advice is really to make flash cards for your hiragana and katakana. It's all about studying and effort! <3

meilin 08-11-2009 02:34 AM

I don't know how I passed chemistry. XD;;;
Probably thanks to the math-y bits.

Oh~ Do you have fun with it despite it being hard?

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:40 AM

@Meilin: The math-y bits ruined me. I'm horrible at math. Probably why I'm a humanities kind of girl.

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:42 AM

Best japanese experience. First week of college... first japanese class, teacher decides everyone needs to make flash cards of all the hiragana by the next class. Next class - Memorize all the hirigana.

Anna - =O I love 3d... well, the whole one class I've taken of it. XD I'm not actually all that good at computer work... specifically coloring things.

marzi - YAY TRADITIONAL PEEPS! =3 Love me mah charcoal.

meilin 08-11-2009 02:43 AM

I'm not entirely sure how I passed the last year of math in high school. XD;;;; It was all kind of a blur.

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:46 AM

We're talking about how we suck at math now? *raises hand* I was in a calculus class but did really bad 'cause I kept adding and subtracting wrong. =B The calculus was right...

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:48 AM

@Astrelle: Yea I'm still using the finger and toe method. Yet I fail at that too! heehee! You know that Japanese expereicne sounds kind of like my class too! It was scary!

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:52 AM

Marzipanda - Our teacher gave us sooooo much work... but you couldn't help but love her. We even had some kids who were all *rebel against society/metal/everything sucks/im gonna wear black because I'm different* but they were still "We'll fight for Imai-sensei! She's the coolest!" Honest... most lovable person ever. And she seemed really naive and childish too. It was adorable.

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 02:56 AM

Your sensei sounds totally like Ueda-sensei! She was the most kawaii and lovalbe woman with her little yellow umbrella and talking pikachu thingy. Haha!

Astrelle 08-11-2009 02:59 AM

X3 Oh wow. When i went to Japan with my art history class our guide Fuijiko-san was the same way. I think there's a trend here... and I wish Americans were more this way. These people just make japan seem like the most wonderful place in the world.

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 03:01 AM

Yea I really love my professors. They are all wonderful people.

Haven 08-11-2009 03:04 AM

I hope my Japanese teacher will be just as awesome~ o wo
I'm excited now. >w<

Astrelle 08-11-2009 03:04 AM

Marzi - X3 I love most of mine. You know how a lot of art teachers are kinda nuts? (all the ones I've met have been) I've gotten a few who were a little nuts in the not fun way. But thankfully our school doesn't offer classes that have over 30 students so we actually get to know the teachers better.

My writing teacher made us banana bread once. Then decided we needed cookies another day. I miss her.

Haven - I'm excited to hear if they are. Because then that would support my theory! (I'm going abroad this next semester to take a lot of Japan related courses... I hope my new teacher will be just as cool)

Rikali 08-11-2009 03:07 AM

*hops back in*
My second cousin went to Japan and loved it. I think it would be fun to go but I'm kind of freaked out by large crowds. >.<

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 03:07 AM

@ Astrelle: My Japanese professor threw us a party at the end of both semesters and brought all sorts of tasty treats. We put on our skits we memorized and had a great time. Really funny stuff!

I just love the second event item! It's so pretty!

Astrelle 08-11-2009 03:15 AM

Marzi - Ours brought us treats too. I think the green tea kit kats were my favorite. ..of course she gave us these gummis that smelled really good, and I got laughed at for eating sniffing the wrapper afterward. XD We never got a party... but we did go out to a japanese restaurant.

Rikali - It can get pretty crowded but there are places where it isn't bad. The first day I was there we wandered around a town... there weren't many people there and we saw a beautiful shrine.

Rikali 08-11-2009 03:16 AM

Astrelle- That's awesome! ^^ I'm sure the scenery was absolutely beautiful.

Marzipanda 08-11-2009 03:17 AM

I wonder why Anna is so very quiet? Anna are you okay? :)
