Hello fellow newbies! I know my join date would suggest otherwise but I essentially joined this community two days ago.

So how is everyone tonight?

I haven't played a single FF game unless you count the kingdom hearts series (but that's mainly because of Marluxia. I mean; pink hair and flower powers? How manly ;D ) zOMG is ok to waste time on if you make the items and sell them on the market place.

I don't like world of warcraft mainly because my older brother plays it...
Though Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is totally the same thing as Warcraft. D:

I don't know, I don't really care for it because every time I play it it's like uber laggy. I mean the game play isn't bad, it's just like every other mmorpg. Which means the controls and such all resemble WOW. I personally think they need a bigger server to host everyone so it's not so laggy. Everytime I'm blasting something with a ring it takes forever to load and the screen kind of freezes so when I can charge up another blast I'm at like 48% health. And I also wish walking around isn't so hard, like mobility wise. But then again it is a Beta :]

I want to play Warhammer so badly!! But not so much the rpg, I want to play the board game. They have a shop that sells all the sets and stuff in the OC. But they're all so expensive, it makes me sad.

I love FFXI. It takes up almost all my spare time. My Dark Knight is level 73 at the current time. I'm almost to 75 finally! <3

Theres an internet site called darkoccultist that sells them 20% cheaper then retail price.

What ones are you interested in?
Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k (or 40 000) or the Lord of the Rings version?

Very true. I hardly ever play during peak hours so it might be that reason that allows me to not lag out so much. I don't know, I do sell the items sometimes but mostly its just a time for me to vent my aggression and kill rather cute looking evil enemies.

Luckily I am able to play with fairly good components, so the lag is not such a factor for zOMG. It is mainly my general dislike for MMOs as a genre and my overall dislike for what Gaia has become. It has changed and all of that change has changed the userbase. It was once a literate to semi-literate refuge, but now it is 'i can haz ur galdings now!!!' or 'I b*tch pwn you sh*t 4z the **** nowz newby!! / hazzor!! That monster is haxxing!!' followed by profane demands to be reved. I swear I had a kid ask for a Fenix Down the other day. I was like,'yo. we aren't playing FFVII and no', so he starts spamming the entire area's chat with swearing at me. -_-' I hate people sometimes.

@Cremuex Levier: The fantasy one, they have these trial games set up and I always con a friend into playing a game with me, I always choose goblins xD I always go in like it's my first time going into the store. I'm so bad...

I feel your pain mah brother! I just go on Gaia for my avie xD I'm such an avie whore it's not even funny...that's why I joined this site. Because I liked the avies...and they look like the Zantari avatars. But I like this site better, in a way it's a lot like Gaia. The art is really pretty too.

I think the avatars are almost identical, some of the gloves and other items look like exact replicas from Zantarni, but I gave up on Zantarni when I got bored with the forums.
I only go on Gaia for the Aquarium (I don't want my fishies to die D:) and to do daily chance/get my avatar prettied up.

I'vé only done Gaia and this site. I think I can handle both. I might disappear from here for awhile while Gaia's summer camp thing goes on. I have 5 mules for various reasons and being an item hoarder I'll be aiming for complete sets for all the various camps.

I thought you could always get more than one set?

I too have only been to Gaia and now here. Its strange, but the similarities are absolutely haunting between them.
