Omg thats so true.. Gaia has become a breeding ground for people that cant even begin to understand what a brain is used for and how to spell and stuffs.. Ugh.. And that was my site.. I still have so much gold and rares..
But i hope mene and roli prove to be better cause i want to invest my time in them instead. But it'll take time :( |

It's ridiculous, and the only reason why I'm keeping my Gaia semi-active. Haha. Most Gaians don't even know what a brain is anymore, so I don't bother with the chatting, just making my avatar pretty for when my reality friends go; "Dude, do you have a Gaia?" "Yeah, it's puregothgirl3" "DUDE OMG -Drool-" "Yeah... I know." I don't like Roli as much as this place or Gaia, it made my brain hurt. |
Lol gaia has gone down the tube. The mods really only care about avatar asthetics and not monitor the threads.. But they should if they want it to last...
And roli is my favorite site thus far. Well.. Tied with Mene. I like them both because theyre strict and serious and smart people get on. Roli isnt complicated just... Takes some time to flow into the groove. My avi is the same on there, name wise lol. And most of my friends arent reallly into gaia cause i dont have many friends right now. Moving and such is preventing much social interaction.. Uber sigh and sadface |

Gaia was great until things started getting way out of hand. Inflation is crazy high, people aren't trying hard enough NOT to spam and the members that are literate and try to be somewhat capable of conversation are completely outweighed by the ones who just spam and the bots.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not bashing gaia. I've been with them since almost the beginning. I just witnessed first hand the steady and ultimate decline of the users and it amazed me at how they hardly tried. I mean you have the great items, the limitless forums and threads, and the easy freebe items you get everyday. Bt then you have the spammers, beggers, and the scammers that take away from your gaming and fun. Its just not worth it in the long run. |
I've been a Gaian for over 4 years now, and I'm bored of it. I mean, sure, it's changing and it's become better and better in concept, but it's just so over-run by spammers and annoyance. The mods have really gotten lazy on trying to keep things calm, clean, and in any sort of order. =/ I honestly came here hoping for something like Gaia, but with more purpose, more filling and more satisfying than a headache from spam and meaninglessness. By the way, I just woke up aboutt... 10 minutes ago so I may not make a heck of a lot of sence~! =D |
Made sense to me considering i understand what you mean. Its become to "spammer ruled" and not enough admins are trying to take it back. But i digress...

Ah the rares.. I have a halo and ancient katana and stuff but i dunno.. I was thinking about selling the character for mene cash but decided thatd be dangerous.. Not cause of scammer but cause its illegal to do stuff like that in the site tos and stuff.
