Varney the Vampire

I'm taking a Vampire Lit class this fall and one of the texts I reading is called Varney the Vamipre.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard of it or knows anything about it

I honestly wasn't taking it seriously because it rhymed with Barney (lol) but i bought it yesterday and it's HUGE O_O
like 12in/10in 800 pages of small text in between vivid illustrated covers.

SO yeah.... I'm taking the class and excited but wondering if anyone has anything to say about this ^_^ (all my other texts I know)

@Duttel: I'm an English major so I usually don't mind longer novels, I built up imunities or something lol but shoot, it just took me by surprise lol

@Darkness_Embraced: If you want you might want to wait on that lol Mine was almost 50 bucks and who even knows what the heck it's about lol
And yes I have an awesome professor who holds wonderfully creative classes (my last class with her was about Harry Potter and it was EPIC, but I won't get into that here ^_^ )
Although this book scared me I am kinda stoked for everything else- famous authors and books that I jsut haven't read yet (like Steven King and Ann Rice......... and Stephanie Meyer >_>;; )
