Physique:
Slender, but with plenty of muscle. Roughly 5' 9", with long brown hair that she keeps tied back into a very messy bun at the base of her head. Her eyes are sapphire around the edges, and a light sky blue near the iris. She generally wears a dirty brownbase ball cap with her hair tucked through the back loop.

Persona:
Has a general dislike of everything and everyone, except for her dog, Wahya, and her family, which consists of herself and her mother. Her father was killed in a train explosion.

Interests & dislikes:
She wants to be a mechanic like her father and work on the steam engines, just as he did, but her mother is dead set against that, even though she knows her daughter has the same talent her husband did.
Kathryn, or Kat as she is more commonly called, enjoys few other things, excluding playing fetch with her beloved childhood dog.

Background/History:
Kat was born into the year 3200, on the two hundreth anniversary of the discruction of the world. So, of course, her family hides her birthday from most other people, to avoid the calls of devil child and other such horrible untruths. The other reason for the secretacy of her birthday is because Kat's great-great-grandfather is the one blamed for the end of the world...

A bright sunny day dawns over the skyline of a flourishing city, drowning the early-bird people and buildings in a flood of sparkling gold sunlight. One building in particular catches the early morning sun more dramatically than the rest. This building is made entirely of glass. It is also the tallest building in the city, towering over the other golden structures majestically, like a king looking over his subjects. In the clear brilliant blue sky, hundreds of sky ships hover, casting dim shadows on the streets below as they pass over, making their way to destinations slowly. One ship passes very close to this building, and a man in a long white robe backs up a pace or two, in case the ship sails right through the window, but of course, it doesn't.
With a sigh, the man turnes around. He looks like he is only in his early thirties, with dark blonde hair flowing down to his shoulders, but pulled tightly back into a small ponytail. He looks at his co-workers, one man sitting at a desk surrounded by paperwork and a giant calculator. This man is wearing glasses, and has short black, almost curly hair. Another man, one with red pin straight hair, is bending over his shoulder, looking at his work. The man at the window asks, "Harrison, have you figured it out yet?" The man with black hair, Harry, looks up in a pure frazzled manner and shakes his head, his eyes rimmed with black circles, giving away his sleeplessness. "How about you, Demetri?" He looks over at another man, with short golden brown hair, sitting at another desk, but instead of papers, viles of multi-colored liquids surround him. This man, Demetri, looks up, but unlike Harrison, his face reveals nothing of his stressful state. "No, I haven't found it yet, Hood." Demetri turns back to his work, mixing different things, trying to work out the lost calculation.
"If we don't give the masses what we promised we would...all will be lost! They will have our hides!" Hood shouts at the room, frusterated with everything.
The men in this room, Harrison, Hood, Demetri, and Rallenson, are working for one purpose.
The Fountain of Youth.

They have been working on it for years now. With this cream, people who normally would only live to roughly 100 years old, they could live until 200, even 300 years old. It was a great breakthrough. Until...until they lost the formula. Somehow, it got misplaced and now they are trying to recreate it, with only two months until the release date they were advertising.

"Hey! Hey!! I got it!!" Harrison and Rallenson jump, and they both rush over to where Demetri is sitting and push him out of his chair. Harrison sits down and grabs a beaker with bright blue liquid, then another with a dark emerald green. He takes out a big bowl, and drops in a chunk of black rock-looking substance that sticks to his fingers. First, he pours the blue liquid. Demetri is now up and rubbing his head, his vision blurry from hitting his head. When he sees the bowl, and whats in it, he freaks. "No! Don't!" He tries to rip the emerald potion from Harrisons hand,but is grabbed by Rallenson. "Let me go! He's going to--" His eyes go wide as Harrison dumps in the green goo. Demetri screams, "NOOO!!"

Suddenly, the bowl explodes, causing the glass windows to shatter. With nothing to support the upper levels of the rest of the building, it crumbles. The explosion insinerates the building, and almost in slow motion, takes in the entire city...towns around it...and soon, the whole chunk of the nation is nothing but a black and brown firey wasteland, taking out everything in it's path. Shards of glass and debris are thrown world-wide, caught up in the jet stream above the earth, taking out even more cities and lives...

Did he finally leave?
