Lucina smiled contentedly as she followed Adrian with her arms looped around his waist, her head resting on her shoulder. Stopping Adrian at the bottom stair before they entered the kitchen, Lucina pulled Adrian close to her and pressed her cheek against her's so that her lips were at his ear. "Should I go downstairs if Lori is?" She asked softly. "I don't want to face any more drama when things are just calming down." She whispered to Adrian, her arms around his neck.

Adrian laughed as he pulled her to him and placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "Ye'll be fine, me love, it sounds like Lori's up in 'er room cleanin'. Come on," Adrian said with a warm smile as he linked his fingers with hers and led her to the kitchen, "What would ye like fer dinner, love? Left o'er bean casserole or something different?"

"Leftovers sound perfect." Lucina smiled as she leaned against a nearby counter. "Anything to fulfill my starvation. I'm going to whiddle away to nothing." She laughed dramatically as she covered her flat stomach with both hands.

"Left o'er bean casserole it is," Adrian said with a warm smile and a tender kiss before popping it in the oven to reheat, "So me love, ye hungry fer anythin' else? We don' want ye 'whiddlin' away t' nothin'' after all," Adrian added with a teasing wink as he began cutting slices of bread to warm up in the oven as well before putting butter on them.

Lucina smiled as she leaned back against the counter and absentmindedly twirled a strand of blond hair. "The casserole and bread should be good." She said as she looked out the kitchen window towards the crop fields. "Adrian." Lucina said as she stepped towards Adrian and put her arms around his waist, her chin resting on his shoulder. "I'm getting a bit of cabin fever, love." She murmured as she gave his neck a few small kisses. "Do you think we can go exploring sometime?" She asked.

Adrian smiled as he turned to face his beloved Lucina once the bread was in the oven. Caressing her cheek while is other hand rested against her hip, pulling her closer to him, Adrian placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips before answering fondly, "O' course we can. Wha' would ye like t' see love? We can go anywhere ye like. Tonigh' if ye wish," Adrian added with a chuckle between kisses as he caressed her cheek.

"I don't know what I'd like to see." Lucina pouted as she put her arms loosely around Adrian's neck. "I don't know much of the land here." She said. "But its going to rain tonight so perhaps we can go tomorrow morning. The sunrise is going to be beautiful." She mused as the sunrise was something she never got tired of seeing even though she'd seen them thousands of times.

Adrian smiled as he sat her upon the counter and placed long, tender kisses upon her lips. "Only if ye stay in me bed tonigh'. Tha' way we don' wake up Lori when we leave 'fore sunrise," Adrian murmured against her lips as he pulled her close and continued to kiss her, waiting for their food to be finished.

"That sounds good." Lucina smiled coyly as she placed a soft kiss on Adrian's lips. "As long as you behave yourself." She teased, knowing full well that she'd have to work on controlling herself much more then Adrian would have to. "Will your mother think poorly of me if I stay in your room for the night?" She asked, knowing that humans were taboo about couples sleeping in the same bed when they were not married.

"Wha' mum doesn' know won' hurt 'er," Adrian smiled against her lips between kisses, "'n' I promise, I'll behave if you do."
Smelling the food, Adrian gave Lucina one last kiss before going to the oven and taking the food out, cooling it by fanning it when the towel he used to take it out as he spoke, "Will you get down plates and glasses love? And the butter out of the ice box?" |
"Of course." Lucina smiled as she took some plates and glasses, setting them on the table. Filling each glass with milk, Lucina set them down and retrieved the butter from the icbox along with a small plate to put it on. "Anything else, love?" She asked as she turned back to Adrian, stealing a piece of bread that warmed her tongue as she nibbled on it.

"No, love, I got it," Adrian said with a warm smile before placing a tender kiss upon her forehead. Spooning the bean casserole out onto the plates after setting the casserole upon the center of the table, Adrian smiled before sitting down and buttering a piece of bread, "So love, tell me, where would ye like t' go explorin' tomorrow?"

"I'm not sure." Lucina frowned as she set down her bread and took a fork to begin eating her helping of casserole. "You know the area much better then I do. Can you take me somewhere beautiful?" Lucina asked with a small smile before taking a bite of her casserole, quickly taking a drink of milk to soothe her tongue as the casserole was still hot from the oven.

"Well, ye've seen th' river... Have ye seen th' meadow 'r th' nat'nal park ov'r th' hill? We could make a trip o' it, if ye wished," Adrian said with a warm smile before taking a bite of his meal, being sure to blow on it to cool it before popping it into his mouth.

"That would be lovely." Lucina smiled contently as she took another bite of casserole, being sure to cool it off before putting it in her mouth. "I don't know how I have lived for so long without seeing the views here on earth. The few times I've been here I was celebrating at a festival with other goddesses but that was over a century ago." Lucina explained with a small pout.

Adrian chuckled as he leaned over and captured her pouting lips in a tender kiss, "I'd be more than 'appy t' show ye th' beau'iful sites o' Ireland. Perhaps, when we are wed, we will take a tour o' th' island fer our 'oneymoon," Adrian suggested with a warm smile and another kiss upon her lips. "It would 'ave t' be a small tour, perhaps only part o' Ireland, but we'll at least be able to see some o' it."

Lucina couldn't help but smile against Adrian's lips though a small sense of dread settled in her stomach of the conversation of their marriage. Her worries of the Gods not allowing her to stay loomed over her but she willed them away with another kiss on Adrian's lips. "I love you." She smiled blissfully before settling back into her chair and taking a sip of milk.

"I love ye too, me love, no mat'er what 'appens," Adrian assured her, sensing the uneasiness in her kiss and features. Finishing his meal and milk, Adrian thought of the future - all the possibilities. If Lucina were to leave, Adrian would be able to manage, or so he hoped to believe.. After all, if she came down for festivals, what stopped him from starting festivals every couple of weeks in honor of the Goddesses? Surely he could get enough people to celebrate, giving her chances to return to Earth, couldn't he?

Lucina fidgeted in her seat from the uncomfortable silence before taking a few more bites of her casserole. "I don't want to think about when my time here expires anymore." Lucina smiled hopefully. "I mean, they didn't like me very much up there anyways so I'll probably be able to stay. And I'd rather just be happy here with you." She urged with a smile at Adrian.

Adrian smiled as he leaned over and placed a long, hard, tender kiss upon her lips before gathering his dishes and bringing them to the sink to wash. "O' course, me love, let us think o' th' wondrous present 'n' no' th' untrustworthy future. I much rather like th' thought o' ye 'ere 'n' 'appy than th' though o' ye gone in th' future. Come, let us ferget th' future fer awhile 'n' return upstairs to wait for the sunrise," Adrian said with a sly smile as he leaned back against the counter and awaited Lucina to finish her meal so he could wash the dishes up before the went upstairs.

Lucina grinned slyly as she finished her dinner and stood from the table, taking her dishes to the sink. Wrapping her arms around Adrian's waist, Lucina set the dishes in the sink before resting her chin on Adrian's chest. "Are you suggesting something, Adrian?" She asked coyly as she put her hands on his waist. "Because if I'm hearing correctly you are implying that I'm going to do something very unladylike." She teased.

"I'd ne'r suggest tha' me love," Adrian said with a wink as he leaned in and placed long, slow, tender kisses upon her lips before linking his fingers with hers. "Now, love, don' tempt me so. Ye know me self control is wretched righ' now," Adrian chuckled with one last kiss before turning and washing the dishes. Drying his hands on the nearby towel, Adrian turned and leaned back against the counter once more. Slipping his arms around her waiste, Adrian caressed the small of her back with a teasingly sly smile, "Now, love, wha' made ye think I was suggestin' somethin' unladylike?"

Lucina smiled as she looked up at Adrian through her eye lashes. "Well you suggested that we should go upstairs and I'm not that type of woman, Adrian." She chided playfully before giving his lips a long kiss. "But if anyone could change my mind I bet it'd be you." She teased.

Adrian chuckled as he pulled her closer to him, one hand caressing her waist while the other caressed her cheek. "Then per'aps I should star' changin' yer mind, aye love?" Adrian murmured against her lips as is hand got lost in her long, blond hair. "I love ye, Lu," Adrian whispered in her ear before nibbling lightly upon her earlobe, his tongue caressing her skin with each kiss as he left a trail of kisses down her neck and lingered upon the base.

Lucina felt her eyes flutter shut as her hands tightened their grip on Adrian, her neck leaning into his kisses. "Mhmm..." Was the only response she could muster as she gave his earlobe a bit of attention with her lips, gently sucking and nibbling while her leg wrapped around Adrian's. "Maybe we should go upstairs now." She suggested quietly, realizing that there were in his kitchen in a very compromising position.
