"I know you think its insane but its not." Lucina said as she kneeled beside Adrian. "That's why I was so upset when you met me. I couldn't believe that I'd been kicked out. I'm so sorry. I didn't want to tell you. I'll understand if you want me to leave." Lucina rambled softly as she held on to Adrian's hand somewhat tighter as she was afraid to let go.

Coming out of his shocked state, somewhat, at her last statement and the feel of her hand against his, Adrian blushed as he shook his head and looked into her yes, "Nah, I don' want ye t' leave. For some reason, I believe ye. No idea why, 'cause yer right, it sounds absolutely insane.. But I don' think yer lyin' t' me.. But I promise, we'll keep this jus' between us, alrigh'?" he assured her with a gentle squeeze of her hand.

"Thank you." Lucina said, relieved, before throwing her arms around Adrian's neck and giving him a large hug.
"I'm sorry." She said quickly as she scrambled backwards from the hug quickly, afraid of scaring him away from her. Smiling shyly, Lucina tucked her legs to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. "I've been waiting a while to tell someone what happened to me. I really miss home sometimes." She said. |
Caressing her cheek lightly, Adrian felt the urge to place a light kiss on her forehead. "Ye needn't worry, love. Ye can tell me anythin', I promise. As fer missin' home, maybe it'll be easier fer ye, 'n' make ye feel closer t' home, if yer out in the fields under th' sky, able t' watch the clouds?"

"That's true." Lucina sighed as she rested her face in his palm. "But I think I'm wanted more here then I am at home." She laughed quietly. "At least by you and your mother." She added, deciding that Lori didn't want her there anymore then the Gods wanted her back.

Adrian smiled as he lightly brushed her cheek with his thumb, "Mum adores you already. Yer like another child t' her. What with 'er 'ave t' teach ye everythin' I mean. As fer Lori, she'll come 'round event'ally, just need t' give 'er time. As for me?" he added softly as he leaned towards her, "I find meself becoming curiouser 'n' curiouser about you."

"What do you want to know?" Lucina asked shyly as she leaned towards him as well, leaving only an inch between their faces though her eyes never strayed from his.

"For one, why ye seem so angry with me one minute, then yer fine 'n' confessin' t' me th' next," he teased as their noses brushed against each other.

"Because I'm very hot-tempered." Lucina smiled coyly. "I told you that I was banished for a year. You didn't think it was a vacation, did you?" She asked, feelng a jolt of electricity run down her spine as their noses touch. It'd been so long time since anyone dared to come this close to her and she was suddenly elated at the feeling.

Adrian chuckled softly, "Nah. If it were a vacation, ye wouldn't 'ave ended up in a potato farm surrounded by people ye can't stand." Not understanding why a strange feeling was rushing through him, nor why he was getting so close to the woman before him, but at the moment he truly didn't care. Whatever it was, he was glad it was there because the more the thought about it, the more he realized that in this short time of knowing Lucina, she'd become something special to him.

"Now that's not true." Lucina pouted innocently, her bottom lip brushing against Adrian's so delicately that it might as well had been a feather. "I don't hate everybody here." She explained as another strike of lightning hit. And with that lightning, Lucina knew what she wanted. At the moment, the only thing she wanted was Adrian to kiss her and she would do nearly anything to have it. "I don't hate you." She added coyly before pursing lips in the slightest so that they pressed against Adrian's lips just as lightly as her bottom lip had when she had been pouting.

Moving his lips lightly against hers in a light kiss, Adrian smiled as he whispered against them, "Good, 'cause I'm rather gettin' fond o' you. It'd be a real shame if ye hated me." Gently pulling her closer, Adrian pressed a tad harder against her lips as he placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips.

Lucina felt her heart speeding up as she dropped her legs away from her chest and brought one of her hands to cup Adrian's neck. Returning his kiss eagerly, Lucina parted her lips slightly for him as a shiver ran down her spine at his kissses. She could hardly remember that last time someone had kissed her and it had never been this gentle and this sweet.

As his hand slid into her hair to caress her scalp while the other slid around her waist, Adrian leaned into her and pulled her closer as their kisses deepened, his tongue briefly slipping between her opened lips to caress her own. He'd never kissed someone before, but he didn't seem inexperienced. It came naturally to him as he kissed the woman before him, loving every minute of it.

Lucina felt rather then heard a soft moan come from her lips at his kisses. Lucina brought her previouly free hand to wrap around Adrian's shoulders as the other curled into his soft hair. Lucina sucked gently on Adrian's bottom lip before kissing him softly again as he tongue shyly parted his lips.

Returning her kisses eagerly as he pulled her against him, lifting her slightly as he sat her on his lap so that she was even closer to him. Softly, he wrapped his arm around her waist, their kisses never breaking. Blushing, Adrian rested his forehead against hers and whispered, "F-Fergive me Miss Lucina.. I.. I don't know wha' came o'er me.. Fergive me fer bein' so forward 'n' kissin' ye like this.. I really shouldn't 'ave 'til after I courted ye 'n' proposed t' ye.." Shifting so that she was sitting on the floor once more, Adrian sighed, "I really am sorry.."

"You don't have to apologize." Lucina sighed, disappointed by the distance between them. "I didn't say that I didn't enjoy it, did I?" She asked with a smile before standing up and resting her back against the door frame. "I told you thunderstorms were romantic." She teased as another rumble of thunder shook the house.

"Aye, but it was impropr o' me.. If anyone found out, yer reputation would be ruined 'n' ye wouldn't be able t' find a husband down here. Tha' is, if ye don't return after a year, tha' is," Adrian explained with a blush, "Things are a wee bit different than up there. But I can't exactly be ashamed, nor be upset, o'er what happened.. I have t' admit, I rather enjoyed it," he admitted with a blush, "even if it was wrong of me to do so."

"Well I'm not looking for a husband so I think I can forgive you." Lucina smiled as she bent back down towards Adrian and gave him another small kiss. "If you can forgive me for tempting you like I did." She smiled shyly.

Caressing her cheek softly with his hand, Adrian pulled her in for long, tender kiss before whispering softly against her lips, "Nothin' t' fergive. Ye can't be sorry for sumthin' I willin'ly give," he whispered before placing another kiss upon her lips.

Lucina smiled as she returned Adrian's kisses. "Will you think poorly of me if I tell you that I enjoy you kissing me?" She asked softly against his lips before giving him another small kiss. "Considering how inappropite you say it is?" She whispered before continuing to kiss him tednerly.

"Not a chance.. I'm glad ye like me kissin' ye, 'cause I'm rather lovin' kissin' you," he whispered against her lips as his hand slid into her hand while his other hand slid around her waist and pulled her softly against him.

Lucina sighed happily as she leaned into Adrian with their chests pressed together. Lucina kissed him softly at first before her paced quickened slightly as her arms wrapped around his shoulders tightly. Lucina couldn't contain her excitement as one of her hands fell to Adrian's chest and wrapped around the fabric of his shirt.

A light moan escaped Adrian's lips as his hands gripped her tighter, his lips trailing her jaw and neck as he pulled her closer.

Lucina couldn't keep the smile from her face as she moved her hair away from Adrian's lips to expose more of her neck to him before twisting both her hands into his hair. "Adrian..." She whispered softly as she brought Adrian's lips back to her own to give him a long kiss.
