"Ah! Don't sleep!" Hal shook her shoulders violently. “Not here!”
"Huh? What's wrong? I'm bothering you again?" I knew it.
"No, you aren’t. I don't want them to bother you."
"Who's them? I don't know about them." She told Hal.
"Oh god, it's the spirits. They won't leave my house."
"Hmmm. Spirits BE GONE!!!!!" Jitter yelled. "There is that good?"
Hal shook her head. "I've tried that. It won't work."
"Oh. Well have you tried a seance?" She asked politely.
Hal nodded. “I’ve tried everything. Even that soap last night.”
"Do you want to move into my apartment?" She asked.
“Wha?” Hal shook her head. "No, I like my home.”
"Ok. The offer stands."Jitter told her, shrugging and yawning.
"I think you should move." The voice filled the room.
"Do you know them?" Jitter asked shuddering, looking to Hal.
She groaned. "Unfortunately, I do."
“Too bad,” said the voice. |
"Who are they? How do you know them?" Jitter asked
"We're spirits," one voice said loudly.
“They’re annoying,” Hal said. |
"Spirits were people once too, unless it's reffering to alcohol."
"We don't like you either of you," the voice announced.
"I'm going to listen to her, at least she pretends."
"Wanna go grocery shopping?" Hal asked, edging to the door.
"That sounds like fun!" Jitter said, jumping for the door.
Hal hurried across the street, making a mental grocery list.
"Thank you for breakfast." Jitter said, hurrying to follow her.
Hal grabbed a cart and started marching down various isles.
