"I'm Jamie, but everyone calls me Jay" He said politely "Nice to meet you". He put the cupcakes back under the glass counter with the other sweet smelling cakes and pies.

"Yah you to." She sat down on a stool not knowing what to do. She was not good with people and Cael was the only one she got along with. Take deep breaths and try to talk to him come on you can do it."So how long have you worked here," she asked in a peaceful voice.

"Not long, we're all very new, except for Cael" Jay had answered Penny. "I've just gotta get the muffins out the oven" he added, excusing himself. In the kitchen he slid the tray of muffins out of the oven and put them on the counter, putting them one by one onto a cooling rack, though they were pretty hot. Where did Rae go? he thought, looking round for any sight of him. It seemed to surprise Jay that he was so interested, but he couldn't help it.

"Uh ok i will be here. Well thats fun do you live upstairs or something." She said this after he got the muffins out of the oven.

"Yeah" Jay said cheerily a little bit louder for her to hear from the kitchen "The workers here get the rooms upstairs". He came back into the bakery with a plate full of muffins, some with chocolate chips in and some chocolate muffins. He slid the plate under the glass counter.

"Wow those look really good. Have you ever made oatmeal carmel chip cookies because they are delicious when i make um." She smiled at him and ate her cupcake.

((I have been sick for a week now so I am slowly recovering. I had it as the same day but Zovi keeps posting in the morning, because the reason I had it as the same day was because not everyone was posting and their was no reason to change it at the time frame. I am making it official: IT WILL BE DAY THREE. There. Now off to take more medicine and get more tissues.))

Tanyon gets up and stretches, looking around with a sigh. "Time to do some more baking!" He exclaimed to no one in particular. He was however wondering about one of the guys. The really tall delivery guy never came back after his day off. He figured he probably quit, but it didn't seem the guy's style to just up and vanish. Tanyon shook his head deciding to let it go, he didn't know him too well anyway so he gets up, bathes, dresses, then heads downstairs. "Mornin'!" He says to everyone. |

((I was in England because I had to attend a funeral. Can someone please catch me up as to what I missed? I mean I know where my twins were last so I guess that's OK but I DO read other's posts sometimes.....))
Kiyoshi sighed. It was never easy teaching people in his age range..... He flipped through the many phone numbers that were slipped into his back pants pocket. Too bad none of these people seemed to be all that interesting.... Yet. He entered Sweet Delights and searched for his brother. Rakuen had just finished his last chess piece. The white king. It was now ready to be delivered. He sighed, 'Whoever Hiroshi Tsukino is he's going to be one happy man.....' He added a few finishing touches and tada! His chess board cake was complete. |
Rae walked back into the store, spotting Jay and a girl, talking. Surprised slightly, he quicrked up his eyebrows as he headed for the kitchen, straight past Jay and the girl. "I'm going to get myself a drink."Me, he'd probably be straight anyway. Knew it was too good to be true...

Seeing Rae walk in, Jay grinned. He watched Rae walk past towards the kitchen and said "Hi Rae". Was that too enthusiasic? I don't wanna seem creepy. he thought, shaking his head to forget about it. Looking around the bakery, there were no other customers there at the moment. He headed towards the kitchen too, to look for any cake orders that have come in.

"Hey Jay." Rae pulled open the fridge, grabbing some apple juice and a glass as he made himself a drink. "Want some too? Feeling rather thirsty, so yeah?" He glanced at Jay from over his shoulder, blinking several times as he awaited a response. Why did he follow me? Does he want to talk to me? Is he interested in me, anyway?

Jay twisted round after reading the cake orders. The one that needed to be done in the least amount of time was another themed cake, of which Jay was balancing ideas in his head for. "Yeah, thanks" he said walking over to where Rae was standing and reaching over him for a glass.

Rakuen looked around for Dan but couldn't find him, "Riiiiight.... So how is this thing going to get to where it needs to be?"

He's standing behind me... Rae carefully poured some syrup into his glass. "Do add water? What's wrong? Bad orders?? Or are you just in no good mood..?" He turned around, slightly startled to see how close Jay actually stood behind him as he looked into his eyes. "That, or did you want something else aside of lemonade?" He glanced at the piece of paper, seeing he had an order for a load of nutella pastry. "Jippy. Bring out the nutella, dude."

I'll post here in a sec. Edit: Okay now I will haha. Jay smiled at Rae as he accepted the drink "That's fine thanks". He was a little taller than Rae, so he looked down slightly into his warm eyes. Jay realised he was standing too close and cleared his throat, laughing nervously as he took a step back. He went to lean against the side as he drank the lemonade. |
