Cael nodded to Rae and said, "Thank you." He heard about the ones in the fridge and he said, "Can I try one in the fridge?" He smirked happily at the thought of more sweets. He glanced at Jay saying, "This guy is suppose to be a great baker." He chuckle jokingly and said, "Watch out" to Jay.

"Yeah, hopefully" Jay said to the man who appeared from behind. "I'm Jay" he said back, shaking his hand. Turning back to the boss, as Rae had called him, Cael, Jay said smiling "I do cake decorations". He pulled out photographs from his back pocket offering for the boss to have a look at them. The photographs were of Jay's creations from when he made cakes for people locally. He was a natural at it and he loved to make others happy with what he could do.

Rae had happily walked down to the fridge, not hearing what else Cael had said. Grabbing a plate as he set three castles and three nutella pastries on it. Ah, they actually look too cute to be eaten... Oh well. That's life, I suppose. Walking back to the others, he held out the plate with the pastries on it. "For the three of you?" He tilted his head to the right, smiling cutely as he stared at the crowd that was still standing in the front of the store. Are all of those people customers? Oh wow. The place is packed, and it's still so early...

Cael nodded and glanced at the pictures and said, "You are hired." He handed the pictures back and said, "Nice to meet you Jay. I am Cael, the owner and for working you get to lease a room upstairs. He pointed to a set of stairs that led up next to his office. "The one condition is that you need to be on time and bake everyday. If a customer asks for something we don't have already made, you jump on the wagon to make sure they get. Got it?" Cael nodded to Rae and said, "Than you." He took one of the pastrys and took a bite. He closed his eyes in contentment and said, "That is excellant." He opened his eyes and nodded in approval.

Jay beamed, he was hired! "Great" he said with a nod. Perfect, even. He was looking for a place already. Taking a pasty, Jay took a bite. It was delicious! "Mmm lovely" he said when he finished it. "So, should I get started now?" Jay asked Cael "Are there any orders in?". He slid the pictures back into his back pocket and glanced towards the kitchen.

Cael nodded to Jay saying, "Go upstairs to check out your room and get baking." He took another bite of his pastry and closed his eyes sighing slightly to himself, "So good."

Rae was happy to see his work was enjoyable. "Thank you boss, Jay. I really appreciate that. Heh, the Nutella one is my favorite one, but the castles are really for people with a sweet tooth. I made all pink now though. Next time, when I can find all of the paints I'll make other colors too." He smiled, nodding several times before kicking his feet. "Is there anything else I should or could make right now?" He glanced up at Cael.

Cael looked at Rae very seriously and said, "If you make me a castle with nutella I will take you to dinner. This is life or death here." He pointed to his stomach that growled and said with a slight smirk "I have to be fed all the time."

The fans started to leave and the Kiyoshi's students did as well. Their parents picked them up and the children chattered excitedly about all the people and the wonderful sweets. The parents looked around skeptically as the displays and shelves were now all empty due to the twins' rabid fans.
Rakuen brought down a rough sketch he did of the cake he had to make. He smirked as he saw that the cash register was overflowing with money so badly that it couldn't be closed. "Hey boss! You might want to come take a look at this!" Rakuen called to Cael. He smirked, "I think that judging by today's income it is worth keeping me and my annoying little brother around...." He went over to his brother and showed him his design. Kiyoshi said, "Wow! That's very good! How about making the coins more of a metallic golden and the claws brown.... OH! And the eyes red instead of yellow!" Rakuen nodded, "What about the die?" "Leave it blue. Its a good contrast don't you think?" "You don't think its too much? I love contrasting colors but the customer might not be as enjoy it as much as I do...." "No. I think its perfect." Rakuen smiled, "Thanks!" He ran into the kitchen and got to work, baking the cakes that he would later need to sculpt into a massive dragon.... |
"Yes, sir" Jay smiled, turning round to climb the stairs. His room was clean and smart, Jay felt very lucky. I'll have to get my bag from home later he thought. Living here, with so many other young men? What would his family say? He shuddered, but mainly because he was delighted at the thought of living there. He closed the door and went back downstairs, checking out the kitchen and what tools they had to offer. Looking around he saw many more people working, eating and talking. There was a nice buzz coming from this little bakery. A piece of paper on the side stated cakes that have been ordered. They'd just come in, so Jay started to get to work.

Rae couldn't help but to giggle at Cael's comment. "You need to be fed all the time? If that's the case, I take on the challenge, though you wouldn't have to take me out for dinner." Especially not if you're going to give out pecks, you've got Tanyon. "It's going to be something new, but I'll work it out." He decisively walked back to his work spot, putting some Nutella in a pan as he started to cook it, grabbing the sugar coating before starting on the bottoms. This is going to be a tough nut to crack. Should I mix the nutella with the coating so it would take on it's flavour... Or should I put a nutella cream shape on top? Ah, I'll just do both. The more chocolate and hazelnut, the more fun!

Cael said to Rae, "I would take you out to dinner as a thank you." He brushed past Rae and Jay to the bakery area and glanced at Rakuen and glanced at the cash register and said, "I might end up having to take all three of you out to dinner." He grabbed the register tray and brought it into his office to grab and empty one and put the empty one back into the register. He glanced at Rae and said, "The more chocolate the better."

Rae tensed up when Cael repeated his words, saying he would take him out for dinner. A small blush appeared on his cheeks as he tried his best to brush it off and continue his work. Hearing him talk about taking more people out for dinner, he felt a bit more relaxed. With more people around at least he'll be distracted. I'm not good at talking for a big crowd... As he finished the bottoms and slid it into the oven, he froze. "Y-Yes Cael." Did that guy just read my mind?! "Then I know what to do..." Sliding the coating in the pan with nutella, he slowly stirred it as he started to make toppings from nutella, applying the hazelnuts as he slid those in the fridge. Continuing with stirring and mixing the nutella and the coating, he leaned against the counter, waiting for the bottoms to be ready.

Jay smiled at Cael's comment as he walked by. He was baking the main cake and the other stages of the sophisticated dinner party cake. While it was in the oven he went to pick out the icing and colouring from the other side of the kitchen.

Cael leaned against a counte loving the smell of the chocolate and hazelnut and he sighed happily. He noticed the bakery was getting smaller out front and he turned to some flour and started to make some dough. He pressed his hands into the mix and said, "I am going to be making a bakery special, pizza."

Rae looked up as he heard the words "Pizza? Whoa! Salami and extra cheese please!" He smiled, continuing to stir the coating as he took out the bottoms. Taking out the icing and placing the parts on a plate one by one, cutting each piece into four as he then placed the bottoms in the center, folding it as he set them on a plate. After finishing it, he took out the toppings from the fridge, placing them on top. As he slid the plates with castles into the fridge, he walked over to Jay. "What are you making?" He peeked at his work spot, tilting his head to the right.

Cael chuckled saying, "Not that type of pizza." He rolled the dough into a pizza shaped pie and took chocolate icing, spreading it along the pizza with a spoon. He sprinkle cinnamon pieces on top and took a piece of candy rope and cut them into pieces and put it on the pizza like a pepproni slice. He spread vanilla sprinkles and chocolate chips along it before spreading vanilla icing along the crust, and put into a fridge.

Jay smiled at Rae as he walked over. "It's going to be a black and white dinner party cake" he replied. "What are you doing over there?" he asked back. It was so fun to be baking in the kirchen again, and this little bakery was very cosy. Jay retrieved the base of the cake to cool at the side while he mixed the black food colouring into the icing.

Wynter blinked several times as she set her phone back into her purse. She sighed heavily before standing up from behind the counter and glanced around. "My shopping.." she looked at the floor, noticing all of her bags being scattered and broken everywhere. It feels like I've just come out of a mosh pit.

Cael took the pizza out of the fridge and put it on a platter and took tube full of white icing and he trailed the ice on the pizza as if he sliced it into sections. He put it back into the fridge and let it sit for a few minutes before taking it back out and put it on the counter saying, "Sweet Delight Pizza."

While the boss was making his pizza Rakuen was molding the fondant to the cake once he finished wit that he mixed up the food dyes in his air brush then turned it on.
It sputtered. "Damn!" He exited the kitchen and came back dragging his brother behind him. He handed the air brush to Kiyoshi. "I suck at fixing these." Kiyoshi laughed and took it apart to clean it. He sprayed it a bit on his brother's apron. It worked perfectly. "You know you really need to get deep within the gun to clean this thing. See? That's where the clog was. You're not very good with technology are you?" Rakuen glared at him, "No. Not really my thing. I didn't use this thing that often back home. I mostly did things the old fashioned way with pastry bags...." Kiyoshi shrugged, "Its not really my thing either.... I'm just more meticulous than you...." Rakuen got to work spraying the dragon. Kiyoshi looked at his watch and said, "I have some free time if you want some help with the simple stuff....." Rakuen threw an apron at him, "Yeah. Get started on the coins and the dragon's claws." He showed him how to do it real quick. Before long, with both brothers working on it the cake became a large dragon. Kiyoshi grinned, "This is actually kind of fun.... But I still say that music is my forte...." Rakuen nodded, "Thanks for the help!" "Lets see.... Time, elbow grease, detail, size, weight.... I'd say its about $2,000....." "I'd say you're right!" |
Taurus sighed, glad the raving mob was gone. He pockets his pen which was just about to run dry from all the crap he had to sign. He looks over as the model twins come out with a dragon cake and he lifts a brow behind his shades. Freaks... He thought to himself.
After being let out, Tanyon thanks the person, and after setting down the berries, he goes back to focus on his cupcakes and pies. He looked slightly shaken up from what happened inside the storage room, but tries to keep himself distracted with his baking. Making a new batch of cupcakes |
Cael let the pizza cool and he sliced it into eights and took a slice for himself. He took a bite and said, "So good." He walked out into the bakery area with the pizza and put it on the counter and said to Taurus, "Hey hot shot. Wanna try a Sweet Delight Pizza?"

Taurus looks up at him, then smirks. "Sure, I'll try some. How can I turn it down if the manager himself is offering?" He said as he took his shades off again.

Cael nodded and grabbed a slice and put it on a plate. He took a bottle of hot cocoa power and poured some on the tip as a drizzle and took some syrup and did a trail along the outside of the pizza slice. He did the same thing to the rest of the pie and held up the plate in offering to Taurus.
