Well what happened is...Oh I'll just quote my post
Quote:
Basic outline of her past:
'I'm sorry I can't answer your question the way you asked it, but I was not created with the ability to speak. I am from a long way away from here, I was created by an evil wizard with the intent of making me a destructive weapon, I did not agree to that. He made the mistake of sitting near my cage when he studied, so I was able to read the magic book over his shoulder. I learned that if even one creature were to break a wizard lock that he created, all of the others would be freed. I trained day and night, punching at the only stone wall off my cage. He was pleased with this, and feed me more meat, allowing me to become even stronger. One day, about 100 years ago, he got to close to my cage and goaded me on, thinking I would hit the wall. Instead I lashed out at him, easily breaking through the barrier he set up. I was his private 'pet', yet I killed him. Does that answer your question?'
The detailed part:
'I will continue when I am ready' Josephine thought back to the dragon, sitting with her legs crossed. 'I used to live in four different places, and I only briefly recall any of them. As a bat I lived in a quiet dark cave, before falling victim to the intoxicating smoke the wizard brought in. As a cat I lived in a simple home with plenty of mice and rats to catch, before my owners died in an avalanche. As a dragon I soared through the sky's in my egg dreams, but instead awakened to a world of pain, where I was soon merged to my other three parts. As a human, I was the wizards own daughter, who made the mistake of walking in on his spell-casting. Being merged was an incredibly painful process, made more so because I felt all four individual's pain. To say the least, I'm surprised I am still sane. When I awoke I was strapped against a wall, and he was feeding me a strange broth. He kept me like that for around two weeks, while my body fully merged. Twice he gave me a strange blood that enabled my body to heal faster. He finally let me out, but I was kept in an unreasonably small cage, where there was barely enough room to stand. I'm glad for it though, without those walls, I would have collapsed on the ground and passed out. Sometimes a strange lady, I think it was my mother, would turn me around, brush out, and braid my hair. That stopped the day I looked at her and called her my mother, the wizard dragged her out and I never saw her again. Three weeks went by, and I was allowed a larger room, it had enough space to sleep and walk five steps. He began to give me the blood about every other day, and I grew stronger faster than ever. He let me have a space as large as this room, with only one stone wall, instead of the four I was used to. He used to talk to me, until he found out that I was mute due to my animal heritage, I will never be able to speak after that first word, it is now the only word my mouth can produce. Verlarus, the wizard, proclaimed himself a scientist, but he was just a cruel man experimenting with animals and mutation. My flock is another example of that, they are sparrows with human intelligence, and the speak Telepathy with a whisper. As I said earlier, I learned how to break the magical barrier he had set up, and I’ve been traveling across the world ever since.’
