Where do you find them, Marguerite? I've found a few decent scholarship websites (like FastWeb Scholarships), but I'm sick of having to weed through thousands of the ones that tell you to write about this or that war and its effect on your life, etc., etc.

How is everyone?

Facade: I am on FastWeb ^^;; although I'm rarely even on there because just like you I'm so sick and tired of having to write essays. I don't even write essays very well, especially since I don't really know how to explain myself. I just signed up for the contests and surveys.

The one essay I found is: How would you fix the economy? or something to that extent. They said they were gonna send the best ideas to the President and Congress.

Luna: I'm doing pretty well, just still sleepy so I'm lying on my bed with my laptop in front of me. And how about yourself?


For the RPers, the cafe is open once again and we've started the first official NEXT DAY, but since Cookie, WiFi, Yosuke, and Cuppy aren't here, then uh...post whenever and go sit at the counter which is primarily where my characters are. If I'm slow in replying it's probably because I fell asleep.

I'm on my laptop too. It's my first day back at school tomorrow. >.< NOT looking forward to it.

Bleh, FastWeb always bothers me. I can never find anything worth my time! lol

Can you get scholarships for participating in surveys? ._.

And have you had any success with contests/essays/etc. in the past? I'm definitely going to need some major scholarship money (I'm just about to enter my senior year of high school, luckily, so I have a decent chunk of time to hunt down good scholarships), but it always comes down to this pessimistic/"realistic" part of me that feels it's either a total crap shoot and I'll end up with nothing... So I have yet to actually enter for scholarships. .-.

Blah. I hate the college-applying phase. :< I just want to get the hell out of high school and get on with my life, but apparently I have to slave over applications and all that jazz before I'm allowed to! Dx

I swear, this whole process needs to be less... torturous. I'm overwhelmed just thinking about it!
