Don't worry Yami. I've seen plenty of people who aren't tone deaf and they are no good at guitar. Its cool that you still try.
And I feel stupid, I completely forgot about my years in the school band lol. I also used to play the marimba and the other one. (a lot like the xylophone but they are made of different materials. They never let me play the xylophone because it was the loudest and had the most solos. Only the teacher's pets got to play that one...) |
I don't want to learn how to play instruments. My mom always says, "Don't you want a talent?" Ew. I don't say this often, but screw musical talent. It and I don't mix. I would much rather sew. Much, much rather.
Another thing. My mom used to play piano with her extended family in Tennessee when she was younger. They all played by ear. They didn't actually take lessons or play from books. She's totally forgotten how to play, and now she seems to think I should suffer in lessons and become a professional in piano playing. Yuck. I would honestly like to take a large hammer to our piano. A shove out the second-story window would work, too. |

@Amane, try finding music you like to learn. Are you into anime? There's a lot of really good anime sheet music on the internet for free. And it's a lot more fun if you're enjoying it. |
