@Mar-Mar - I think we might be doing her kids a favor if we did that. As it is she leaves them in daycare most of the time. They're pretty old for daycare, poor kids. They'd be less psycho without her.

@Mar-Mar - Yeah. Two boys. She's made them pretty neurotic. The worst part is that they seem to have told the boys they have to hug us every time we go over. The kids obviously don't want to hug us and we don't want to be hugged, so it makes things super awkward.

I grew up with one of the lady's little kids - his name's Josh. Last I saw him he was six or seven years old. According to my dad, Josh's mom gets pissed off whenever I go near him (because well Josh will report it to her). She has another son who's around my age, if not slightly younger, and a daughter that's about 10 or 11 by now. None of them are my dad's kids and he's the one that's taking care of them.

Forgive me if I seem very naive. I've stopped caring whether he came home or not anymore.

Well, I have two cousins on my dad's side and one on my mom's side. We really don't talk tot he cousin on my mom's side. She has issues. She started popping out babies at 16 and had four of them before they finally tied her tubes. About damn time.

My other two cousins are really just too laid back to have issues with.

I don't know. I know she didn't pay for it. She's a welfare mom. The kids all have the same father and he married her, but still, they're a welfare family. She is about 24 now, her youngest would be about two now. I think it's three girls and a boy. She had so many learning issues and mental issues and just issues a child that she didn't need any of her own.

Yeah. I don't want kids either. I already have a dog. Kids are way more of a responsibility than I want to deal with. I will admit up front that I'm way to selfish to want to take care of kids. Plus I had this disastrous babysitting job a few years ago that involved a wailing infant that really just settled it. I do not want to stay up all night with wailing babies ever again. Nor do I want to go through the discomfort of pregnancy and labor and all that. No thanks.

Ditto, Cookie. Ditto. The only reason I'd want kids is to name them, but hell, I don't want the responsibility for them - hence, I don't want kids!

Pets are more fun to name anyway. Nobody will question you naming your dog Bacon Bits. But if you name your kid Bacon Bits, well obviously you're insane. People name their kids some pretty stupid things these days.

It goes. I just fed my dogs, now I'm feeding myself some cheerios. I'm watching an episode of Eleventh Hour. It's some drama where a scientist attached to the FBI goes around solving strange sciencey type crimes and mysteries.
