Makoto:Night get lots of sleep

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 05:54 AM

@Wifey - I've been better. =P How are you? How was your breakfast?

@Fuyumi - It does get annoying. No wonder so many fangirls prefer having yaoi ships than having guys with girls. The girls are too annoying. ^_^;;

white2fire 10-12-2009 05:56 AM

@Cookie: It was yummy. We had fried potatoes and some quiche. ^_^

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 05:59 AM

@Wifey - Awesome :D I had a homemade Chicken cheese and broccoli pot pie for dinner. It was yummalicious! :D

white2fire 10-12-2009 06:01 AM

@Cookie: That sounds delicious.

Anyways I'm actually going to head off. Figured I'd stop by and say hi. :)
I'm kinda tired so I'm gonna sleep.
Night.

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 06:02 AM

@Wifey - It is delicious! :drool:

Aww, night night *huggles* Sleep tight.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 06:03 AM

@Cookie
You know I never thought about it like that, but that is really true. I know of a few female characters that I like..there aren't that many though *sadness* Like that one chick from..who was she.. she was really cool. *thinks* well. I like Alice from Alice 19th. And Lenalee from D. Gray man is pretty tough

Well I gotta go to sleep now. good night

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 06:29 AM

@Fuyumi - Even in life, Japan has a very frustrating role it expects women to play.

I like a few of the women in Fullmetal Alchemist, like Riza Hawkeye and Izumi. They have a lot of strong female characters.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 03:40 PM

I haven't seen full metal alchemist. I will have to watch it though cause now I'm curious. anyway, good morning ^^

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 03:45 PM

Good Morning. You know. I've been mostly awake the whole time you slept D:

Fullmetal Alchemist is a strange beast. Because first there was the manga, which was cool. Then they did an anime, which overtook the manga. It ended up being completely different from the manga and they made up their own badguys and stuff. It was essentially an alternate universe that lead to the movie they did. Then after the anime ended and the manga continued they got the great idea in their heads to remake the anime so it was more faithful to the manga. So they did the anime a second time. I didn't watch the second anime. They claimed it would be more faithful to the manga, but they opened up with a completely fabricated episode and characters that don't exist in the manga :headdesk:

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 03:54 PM

Wow..that sounds like a lot random stuff. How strange.. well often the anime is made before the actual manga is complete. So it is a bit difficult for it to be completely accurate. Then again to make another one and do that is very annoying >_< Which is better though? The anime or the manga?

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 03:56 PM

Because you must strike while the iron is hot as they say. If a manga is popular, you want to jump on it while people are still interested. In the world of manga, interests seem to be fleeting. Once something is over, you move onto the next big thing. It's annoying as hell to watch an anime and have it either veer away from the storyline or be forced to sit through the horrors of filler episodes or even have it just randomly end, but that's how it goes.

Sexy Blue Candy 10-12-2009 04:08 PM

@Cookie: -tackles and tickles- ha!

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 04:12 PM

@cookie
that is very true, i suppose *thinks of naruto* well.. I think its a bi sad if some manga is never made into anime *thinks of one series*

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 04:29 PM

@Candy - Noooooo. You'll give me the hiccups! *flails*

@Fuyumi - Think of all the damn filler in Naruto! x_x And there are plenty of things that would be lovely in anime, just there are plenty of things that you wish they'd never made an anime of x_X

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 04:33 PM

I know. *sighs* Well..I mean you just kinda think of something is a manga that is must be an anime too, but thats really not the case. I know..well I think there is a skip beat anime. I hope it follows the manga. and Kyoko ends up with Ren...

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 04:43 PM

Yeah. Skip Beat was one of those ones that they just ended. I was disappointed, but it was an ideal place to end the anime, on the cusp of something new. It's too bad though, because there's a lot of later events that I would have loved to see animated.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 04:50 PM

Ah...There's the thing. There's like all these animes that end terribly. Like fruits baskets. I wasn't satisfied at all with that ending.. It was just "la di da..ok lets end it now!" sorta thing. No closure..

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 05:02 PM

Well, Skip Beat was pretty faithful and ended at a place where you knew the story wasn't finished, but you could accept the stopping point.

I never read the Fruits Basket manga, but from what I understand, it's another one of those that veers off from the anime. Not having read the manga, I thought the ending was ok. But they opened a whole can of worms and didn't really go anywhere with it. They just ended and we hadn't even met the rest of the zodiac! There's so many volumes of the manga, I doubt I'll ever read them unless I happened to find them at the library or something.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 05:06 PM

Yeah there is a lot of manga. *sighs* I need to pick up reading that series again. I just don't remember where I left off. Same thing happened with the wallflower and vampire game..

Well I gotta get to class talk to you later ^^

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 05:09 PM

There's quite a few manga that just didn't suck me in and I forgot where I was with them. Actually, Naruto and Bleach are like that, I read them and eventually just stopped. Can't remember where I left off and I don't really care =P

Bye bye ^_^ Have fun in class.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 05:44 PM

Okay..*sighs* it seems I'm not leaving. The bus came 15 minutes early, and it doesn't come for another two hours, so I basically am just gonna end up staying here cause I basically missed class. stupid bus T_T

Yeah, I forgot where I'm at with Naruto too..I think somewhere in the 30's.. Gaara <3..and shika.. oh and I can't forget Sai... *sighs*

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 05:53 PM

What the hell kinda bus is that? Only comes every two hours and can't stay on a fricking schedule D:

With Naruto, I left off, fairly recently I suppose. I think within the current arch of the story. But it's a big ass arch.

fuyumi_saito 10-12-2009 06:34 PM

the schools mean bus T_T and the bus drivers can't drive worth anything really. *sighs*

all the archs in Naruto are long. Not only that but the creator wants to end it soon, but it seems to be lasting for a long time..which doesn't really make sene. I think Naruto is one of those things..Like Dragon Ball Z...you that'll stick around for a good long while. It's not a bad thing. I do miss the simplicity of DBz sometimes though.

For-Chan Cookie 10-12-2009 06:46 PM

Well that sucks. =/

I think my favorite Naruto arch is still from the very beginning. I don't think anything has topped the arch with Haku and Zabuza for me. And Sasuke got so annoying. =P

DBZ was ok, I used to watch it, but at a certain point, it felt like nothing happened in the episodes because of the long power ups and how they never just finished. The took episode after episode after episode to finish a fight. It was so tedious!
